This place is a gem in Frisco. Come here if u want to record your music. NAMS is a music school plus a recording studio. The interior is beautiful, with a warm atmosphere. It feels so comforting. The people working there are great, kind, helpful, and willing to work with you no matter what level you are at. I personally worked with Cody and he was so helpful, patient, and did a great job with mixing my song. Levi was also very helpful and helped with mixing at the end. They r knowledgeable and know what they are doing. Whether you are an expert or amateur they are willing to work with you when it comes to creating your own music. Plus the price point is superb!!! I give this place a 1,000 stars!!! Everyone should come here!!

Our daughter has been a student at NAMS since they first opened their doors and weve never once considered going anywhere else! The instructors are spectacular and they really care about the student and what motivates them. They totally cater to the students personality, their learning style and the type of music that keeps them interested.Over the years, it has been quite a blessing to watch our daughter develop her talent and they have helped nurture her musical interests. She has blossomed into a talented songwriter and is now recording the music that she has written.I cant say enough about the integrity, character and talent of the instructors and owners at NAMS. They ALWAYS put your child first and do everything possible to help them grow musically.

I have to say NAMS Frisco is truly an AMAZING place to take lessons. Everyone there is really open and friendly and the instructors let you be as creative as you want while offering a solid foundation for you to build your skills on. I am 25 and recently took up playing the drums and I honestly didnt know where to go at first for lessons, but a friend told me about NAMS and after just the first lesson I could tell I had made the correct choice! Their rates are very reasonable and the location is really convenient for me as I live in Allen. Oh and Chase Ross is an awesome instructor!! I am SUPER happy with my decision to take lessons at NAMS.

After five years of traditional private music lessons, my kids and I made a change and began lessons with Christian at NAMS Frisco in 2012. I really love everything about NAMS but I will limit myself to a few of my favorites. The staff are real musicians. They are passionate, knowledgeable, and so creative. The positive and artsy atmosphere at NAMS communicates to my kids that they can really achieve their goals and that whatever style of music they love can be worthwhile if performed well. The recitals are closer to rock concerts than traditional, stodgy recitals. My kids have so much more motivation to practice than before because they really want to do well. I just signed my third child up for lessons and she is having the same great experience.

My son has studied music at NAMS for 4 years and it has truly been life-changing for him! The amazing staff and instructors there are highly talented, supportive and always encouraging. Everyone at NAMS is SO passionate about what they do and it’s contagious! They custom-tailor each student’s program to match their musical interests, skill level and learning pace – and continually offers ways to enhance their experience through performance opportunities, specialized camps, classes, workshops and lots more. Students are given great opportunities to dive deeper and explore interests in so many different areas! In addition to becoming an accomplished musician for his age and discovering a deep passion and love for the arts, my son has also realized the benefits of increased self-confidence, pride in accomplishment and the satisfaction of setting and achieving goals. The unique environment at NAMS has provided not only awesome music lessons, but valuable ‘life lessons’, too! My daughter saw how much my son loved NAMS and she studies there now, too! We are so blessed to be a part of the NAMS ‘family’!

Remarkable music studio! Over the years, we had tried several studios in the Plano/Frisco area. None compare to the energy, attention, creativeness and professionalism of NAMS! Christian is a very creative, talented, encouraging and patient guitar instructor. Amber has been unsurpassed in voice and piano lessons. Both of our daughters have throughly enjoyed their lessons at NAMS! Pete and Levi are always available and helpful. You can tell these individuals enjoy what they do and believe in sharing the joy of music with others. Thankful we did not give up the search for a truly excellent program. We found it ALL at NAMS!

My kids love this place! The teachers do a fantastic job of keeping my kids excited about the music they are playing. This is not an easy task with a 12 year old girl and a 10 year old boy involved in multiple activities who struggle to find time to practice! Keep up the good work NAMS!

We have been at Nams for 3 yrs and have no complaints. We have seen new ownership and lots of growth. What we love about the school is that they teach what the student what he/she wants to learn. So, if your child likes classic rock, they will teach them classic rock. Singing, playing an instrument, recording, writing they do it all. Its not like the old days when you think of the church lady teaching you piano lessons with classical music. The faculty are young and are really really passionate about music and enjoy sharing their passion with your child. It is also affordable and flexible.

From the second we stepped through the door to NAMS, we knew we found the right place to start our 6 year old in drum lessons. The staff at NAMS genuinely care about the development of the students and its such a welcoming environment for music development. We couldnt be happier there.

Awesome awesome awesome!! Christian and Pete and Levi are wonderful, as are all the teachers at NAMS. We highly recommend the Neighborhood Arts and Music School . Weve been attending for 2.5 yrs and my kids consider these guys/gals as family - they are the best!! They have a heart for seeing our children succeed and they make learning music fun!

Definitely not your old fashioned type of music school. NAMS is hip, upbeat, interesting, creative, and down right FUN! We love the instructors, they truly are interested in what your child wants to learn. We are on our 2nd year with NAMS, and my son looks forward to every lesson he has. He has loved the student led learning style and has been challenged and improved by leaps and bounds. The fact that the staff really does celebrate each students progress and are truly excited to invest in your child. Love that! Many of the staff are still working professionals outside of teaching, and it shows. They can provide real life opportunities and advice for the more advanced student. So lots of room to grow and advance deeper. Did I mention they have several opportunities for my son to perform through out the year which is a plus for us since music is a performing art. Plenty of inspiration too....from music camps to watching your own teachers perform. They even have Homeschool class times. We just love it here, you gotta try it! Youll be pleased!
