Easy handicapped parking at Banfill-Locke Arts Center and the other side of the park. Handicapped accessible portable outhouse, plus benches and gardens on the art-center side, with switchbacks. A steep and forested descent into a riverine landscape from both sides, with sandy arroyos, dry creeks, and embankments along the Mississippi suitable for shoreline casting. Beautiful pedestrian bridges and photo opportunities here. A vastly underrated little park, and for just the right person to appreciate it.
This is one of my favorite parks in the area. Its a bit small but the cottonwood trees are huge down towards the river. They keep it clean with exception to a few people fishing that leave trash behind. Usually it gets picked up quick by visitors, like when I fished this stretch I brought out bags of trash, or by the park maintenance crew. There are great views of the river and picnic areas. Dogs allowed and of course pick up after them please.
Good place to catch a fish after work, best luck in the spring.
This is a nice park and a useful entry point to the Rice Creek trail system. The parking lot is shared with an arts center and has no shade whatsoever.
Nice place to walk around and relax.
Small place to go walk around and fish. Very peaceful trail.
Quiet, wooded walking trails.

Mom. When not f rozen
Nice little discreet park. Has a picnic area, nice scenery, a creek that connects a lake to the Mississippi river, so you know fishing is great as well.
Amazing Park for photographe

It was beautiful!
Its a peaceful place with nice views of the water, grills to use and a comfortable walking trail or 2
Paths were very old, but it was a nice green place to walk
I come here all the time to go fishing. The fishing spots are easy to find. With river fishing, if they don’t bite after 10 cast then move on to a different spot. Don’t waste your time casting the same spot over and over. Be mobile!
Nice small park to walk around!
As far As far as today is dark and cold. However its a its a great park with trails that follow along the river and a creek. Very scenic and peaceful.
Its a very clean and quiet place to spend time relaxing by yourself or with family
It’s a lovely park, but be aware that to get in and out of it the paths are very steep and the bridge over the creek seems rather unstable.
