The trails here are great. Some are paved and some are natural but all loop across the creek and offer a wooded escape from the city. There is a huge off leash dog park here as well.

This is my favorite park of all time Ive been going to Locke park since Ive been about 6yrs of age and Im pushing 60 yrs old today!!!, its a very serene place to be,lots of wildlife,,trails to take paved as well as unpaved,playgrounds for kids very new and modern. I had a lot of firsts here like the first time my dad took me fishing my first kiss,and others I dare not mention lol

Nice park. Occasionally I go to the fenced in dog play area, but only if no one else is there with dogs - because people are idiots. They need to add a second entry/exit at the other end so we can leave without crossing by people.

Nice lvl 3 inner hiking trails, lots of wildlife. Dog park is on the smaller side and there tends to be bully dogs there with no manners. Be sure to use Bens 100% deet if you hike the inner trails on warm days.

++Good: multiple parking lots, giant oak shaded playground, extra large pavilion with grills, water fountain, fire pit, off leash dog park, bathrooms, forest canopy covered trails, circular trail routes, beautiful sights, bridges over creek. +Good: other small pavilions, off map trails, picnic table in dog park. +Bad: significant inclines on paved trails, mosquitos present on trails, bug spray recommend. ++Bad: none. ### Playground and giant pavilion are well shaded with large oak trees. Dog park is extra large and excellent. Cool sights to see where the trails take you to the creek. Always good to have circular routes for trails. Be weary as there are steep inclines and non paved trials. For the extra adventurous off map trails abound.

Very beautiful. Id love to see some improvement in the roadside maps, though. It would make the trails easier to navigate.

Beautiful area. Secluded yet easy to find. I grew up going to this park regularly. Big enough so that many people can use it without feeling crowded. Gorgeous trails, dog park, picnic area. Bring bug spray.

The trail is great, and I saw a black pug at the dog park which is an automatic 5 stars.
