Great spot to get in for a day on the river. Nice wide ramp allows multiple adventurers to enter at once. Very scenic entrance to the river with great photo opportunities. This ramp also allows for a nice comfortable exit from the river. I would like to see more signage to get to this spot but its not difficult to navigate the city of Fremont.

The flood in March caused a lot of damage. There are many downed trees, some quite large, and it will take a long time to clean up. The paved hiking and biking trail is sound, but covered in sand and debris in places. The wilderness aspect of the park is dominant for now.

Full of trash, garbage, and rubbage all through the trail and along the river bank. Really sad the city of Fremont has a motto of keep Fremont beautiful but has less than 6 trash cans for miles of trails, numerous airboaters using the ramp and alot of trail riders with no means to dispose of waste.Fremont should make a better effort to provide for the waste, visitors take notice that its run like this.

Im not sure why they even call this a park anymore because it is so run down and infested with mosquitoes I cant see anyone enjoying any time there.
