I would give them five stars, but their merchandise selection has diminished some from a few years back. Maybe it is just the stuff I tend to buy, i. e. yarn.

Great discount on all canvases and frames! 1 stop shop for all arts and craft supplies. Located in Fremont hub and plenty of parking available. They dont let you take cart outside the store which is a bummer!!

Got to say that KENNEDI went Way above and beyond to help us get frames in our price range for our 2 Concours posters. She took the older and a bit wrinkled posters added some mat and paper backing including touching up the poster edges to match and touched up the scratches on the frames as well.What an Incredible Employee in the Framing Dept!! A true professional and a very warm and caring attitude which is so rare to find nowadays!

The selection is great, but the checkout lines are really bad. Every time I go, there is only one cashier working, so the lines are getting very long. Besides, the only cashier available is trying to chit chat with every customer, which makes checkout wait time even longer and more frustrating.

The negatives:I could not find find what I was looking for - I could not find macrame hoops or iron-on patches. I did not like the selection for watercolor paper or stationary. There were no public bathrooms.The positives:The store was clean. Shelves were stocked. Sanitizer was available.

Found frames and more that I was looking for! Christmas wreaths are out and colorful.

Great store, but horrible wait times in line! The line was growing behind me! I had to wait 20 minutes in line with just one cashier! There is enough space in between registers for social distancing and not one other cashier showed up! Shame on you, this place needs better management and not just have employees doing floor work while there is a long line.

There are two reasons I wont be shopping at Michaels anymore, at least this location for now.I went few days ago and purchased some boxes and wrapping material. Almost all the items are picked had no price sign which I dont like seeing suprises at the register and not knowing if the item is on sale or not. The second reason is that the cashier took my items to scan them behind the visor and he didnt bother putting them in my bag. I thought maybe because of the corona. However, he kept my items behind the visor on his side and I couldnt pull them from that narrow space below because they were bigger in size. So I had to stick in my hand behind the barrier to grab my items one by one and the cashier is looking at me! As I walked out, I realized that the shredded paper bag that I purchased was open and it was coming out from the bag as I am walking, really sad the employee didnt even bother sealing it. Zero customer service.

Did not receive the products I ordered, and was charged anyway.I ordered for curb-side pickup on May 30th. Before I knew it I received an email from Michaels stating that I had picked-up my order. When in fact, I had not. I quickly called the store and spoke with the manager who assured me she would resolve the matter by submitting a ticket to their corporate office to reverse. She said she’d call back and never did. I disputed the claim with my credit card & michaels submitted my “pick-up” confirmation. This store was clearly overwhelmed with curbside pickup, the staff isn’t trained well & the manager clearly doesn’t know what she’s doing.

The store very well stocked, it has everything I need to get for crafting and decorating and a wide variety to choose from. They have a great clearance isle that I always find great markdowns. The store is clean. The only thing I think they could improve on Is more customer assistance. Many times I cant find an associate to help me if I have questions and also not enough cashiers. They do have great coupons and sales though.

I loved my Michaels in Cambridge. It was more aimed toward a maker aesthetic, large and well organized. This feels like its more about decor and school supplies. Maybe its because theres a JoAnns, Tandys and a few other maker/crafter supply places nearby? But I feel like they arent covering my niche. Might not be a problem for most people.

Store is nice and tidy. Easy to find stuff. They need to install a cellular distribution antenna system (DAS). There is zero cell signal in the store.

When I was shopping at the store, I went to the restroom but it has a sign on the door shows ask team member to help to unlock. So I saw an old guy who wear a store uniform then I asked him the password.He said the password couldnt give out so hell open it for me. But on the way to the restroom then he start to be rude to me. He kept companies about why I didnt ask some other store team members who nearby the restroom. I told him there werent anyone nearby when I tried to find a team members. He didnt believe what I said and still keep complaining and told me : see, theres another one, you should ask him to help. And I told him: that person was there either. He still not listen to me and keep complaining. I wasnt feel be treated nice so I didnt say thank you to him when he unlock the restroom door. Then he yells at me twice: youre welcome!I felt be insulted when I just tried to use the restroom in the store.After I used restroom, I didnt have mood to continue shopping. Im not weak personality personal. But dont feel right to argue with a old guy in the public. Because people might assume that Im giving that old guy hard time or something.I putted back all the products that I was going to purchase then leave a store.

My daughter is always spending time in Michaels for all her school projects. It’s great to know you can go to one place for everything. It’s really a creative place to where everything is a canvas! They are always friendly & they check you out quick. Long lines sometime but they move. Selection is awesome too.

They have a good selection of everything a crafter needs. And ifits not in stock they can order whatever items you might need.

Severely understaffed, poor cellular reception, and spotty wifi (the latter two being important for coupons). Otherwise a standard big box crafts store.

Store is easily located and has plenty of parking. Regularly stocked and next to zero empty shelves. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable, not only on their store and product location but crafting items and supplies overall.Bathrooms were clean and well stocked and the overall store was very neat and tidy. I would say those employees care a lot about their store.

Selection at this store has always been great. They always have the things I cant seem to find at other similar stores. Unfortunately, this location has had less than helpful employees with no urgency. On top of that, the line at this location usually runs nearly 10 people deep and is no place if you need to get in and out quickly. Pricing here is usually double what other places nearby are charging... but maybe thats because they know the other stores dont have the selection and tend to run out. Example - elmers glue foot$2.99 across the parking lot goes for $5.99 at Michaels

Checkout clerks are a bit slow. Selection of art supplies is great.

Good store with only one major flaw - restroom with password, which happens, I get it. BUT, I guess it’s such a huge store, not like in Starbucks you can just ask any one of the cashiers around the corner, here the most obvious choice would be the custom frame counter next to the restroom. I guess because of that, the girl that works at the frame counter gets super annoyed by the question of bathroom password even though they are all paying customers. If I knew that I would rather go shopping at Target next door to not get so despised for no reason.

Isles are pretty crowded and they didnt have the paper (crepe paper) that I was looking for. Prices are pretty fair though.

Sure, it is one of the only art stores in the area, but god are some of the materials expensive. Art supplies are expected to be pricey, however.

This store is in the hub, so its centrally located in fremont. Plenty of available parking. Unfortunately, we went in for one product and couldnt get anyone to help us. Once at the register, the associate had to call for assistance and still left taking our chances because no one could assist us. The line was long, and no one in my party was able to get online to grab a coupon online. I usually enjoy this craft store, maybe it was not their best day.

Michaels is a great store for all basic arts and crafts needs. Usually go here for baking supplies. Love that they always have great coupons on their app, however the lines are always so long!

Chain craft store. Usually you need to know what youre looking for as the employees are very busy and their knowledge depth on crafting projects isnt very high. However, their custom frames are the best and the frames are very helpful and very knowledgeable.
