Fairly large park, with lots of activities, events and play areas. I was here for a geocaching event today. There was also a baby shower, what appeared to be a disc golf tournament, and several pick up games of basketball, football, and even tennis. Theres a hiking trail, a seasonal swimming pool and lots and lots of area for walking dogs and having picnics. Plenty of parking, too.

I am here frequently for disc golf. The park has a nice course, a good walking trail, a pool, basketball and tennis courts as well as several soccer and basketball fields. There is also a playground for kids.

Amazing disc golf course, not really suitable for beginners but once you have been playing for a while this will really challenge you

Great trails to walk, lawns are very well kept. I love coming here to play tennis as well. Playground for kids, separate swingsets, picnic tables under a canopy, baseball fields, soccer fields, restrooms, also frisbee-golf. Overall, very nice park.

Absolutely love this park. The Disc Golf course is one of the best in the region. Very well taken kept and challenging. The rest of the park is always beautiful. Lots of open space.

Beautiful park! My kids had a blast burning off some energy the two times we visited here. All the playground equipment is in good working order, its clean, there are picnic tables for you to have a little picnic and still be able to see your kiddos running around. Great little park to spend a few hours with the kids.

Love the picnic tables for family gatherings and fun under the shade trees with a gentle breeze on a warm day.

Kids had a blast and theres plenty of walking space

My kids love this park. The 2 playgrounds are nice with the extra added swing area off to the side but they especially like the trails with the creek where they can look for animal tracks.

Best park in Fredericksburg IMO, it has it all & is also home 2 the Main Office Involving Spotsylvania County Parks & Wreck where you can illicit & enroll in a wide variety of public team based sports. This park also has Tennis Courts, a recently Renovated Basketball Court with Multiple Hoops ( Also Recently had the asphalt floor base for the Basketball Courts repainted. This Park also has multiple soccer fields, Baseball Fields, and a Local Pool that requires a yearly membership 2 use and is utilized by families of all ages, young & old alike; Its quite packed daily over the Pool Season. This park also has a large parking area 4 accommodates a large crowd of locals who frequent the park, of course parking is free. Bungalows, & grill, picnic tables are also found here & are popular 2 be used as party & event occasions; is situated next too 1 of the 2 play ground/area on site. Venturing deeper into this wonderful park. Youll even find a Frisbee Golf Course that even occasionally holds local tournaments & Events. Beyond and near the perimiter of the Frisbee Gold Area, Theres even an old historic gravesite with un-named tombs from the Cival War & is allowed public mingling 2 see & exhibit the previous occupants and casulties of our nations blood lust war over slavery and the souths desired Independence. I nearly 4got 2 mention th eres a plethora of trails 2 walk with your family and friends & is a great nature walk for any child w/ family.... Idk what else I could possibly say, this park has it all & is a mainstay amongst our family here in Spotsylvania County!!!

Enjoyable park! Swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball field, kids playground, and more. Some good hiking trails with a frisbee golf course. Great place to bring dogs, kids, or to come have a picnic.

Well kept park with lots to do for the whole family, including your dog! The wooded trails are really nice and a great way to stay out of the sun on a warmer day. Loriellas disc golf course is very nicely maintained and an excellent method of getting some exercise while prolonging your time outdoors.The playground is pretty large and good for kids, sports fields are nice for those who use them. Lucky to have this facility so close by.

The pool staff seemed attentive and our family loves the playground. Fun times!

Great place for enjoying outdoors activity for all ages at no cost.

4 y/o granddaughter loves this place. She makes new friends every time she goes here. In the afternoon the trees block the sun so it is a comfortable spot to watch her play. Bug spray makes it comfortable too.

My son and I frequently visit. He loves the park and I have to say I thoroughly enjoy being there with him. The air is clean and this wonderful park is well maintained. The plastic playground equipment is in good shape and cover a wide range of children age groups.The public public pool there is large and clean. Hiking trails are good but need some attention. It is inexpensive and the lifeguards are attentive.A vast frisbee golf course is great for kite flying or RC aircraft (I am not sure if those are legal there but nobody is likely to give you problems).Unless there happens to be a frisbee golf tournament in progress (rare), there always seems to be ample parking space. The area surrounding the park is heavily wooded. And the general neighborhood near the park is relatively safe.The main playground area is surrounded by tall trees such that it is in shade and cool in the summer. There are also swings in the open near the vast field, if one desires nothing but sky while swinging.Near the playground is a large gazebo with plenty of aluminum tables and seating and a small BBQ grill. I have seen many birthday parties there. A public restroom is right next to that.There are also baseball, tennis and soccer areas.Basically, this is how ALL public parks should be.

My kids love it here. We enjoy walking the trails and riding our bikes here.

Good frisbee golf course

Great park for the kids. Lots of things for them to do, they have disc golf course which is awesome and a huge pond for exploration and lots of trails. Not too many picnic tables that are not linked to the playground. Which does get loud. Basketball courts as well as tennis and a swimming pool.

Play area is large and works for all ages. Theres a really large picnic shelter beside the largest play area. Bathrooms are close and convenient as well.

The place looks great and the staff is really nice. I cant wait to spend my sons birthday there.

This park has many different choices for activity. It has a disc golf course, a playground, trails, a pool, basketball & tennis courts, two picnic pavilions.It is a popular park for local childrens sports teams that use their soccer & baseball fields.Theres something for everyone!

Nice playground with lots of shade. There is a bathroom there but I didnt check it out. Parking is very close to the playground. There happened to be a homeless man sleeping next to the playground while we were there though.

Nice facilities, we went to the playground and pool. There isnt any umbrellas or snack stand. It was not the cleanest. It was a busy summer day though.

Perfect park for kids. Playgrounds, big open fields, etc. They have picnic areas with overhangs for rent. We had my nephews 4th birthday party here, and the kids had a blast. Best park in the Spotsy area for Kite flying!

Usually its great but omg there were bees everywhere this time.

My children love to play here and there’s shade in the playground area with benches for me to sit and relax. The woods are fun to explore.

I work part-time as a Parks and rec attendant I have to admit its a wonderful job but its also an even more beautiful Park 280 acres frisbee golf that takes you through trails that Ive never experienced anywhere else a very beautiful dedicated memorial to the past is well also apparently spotsylvania county is landlocked to never let this be anything more than a park otherwise its returns ownership to the family that donated it for a dollar back in the 18 hundreds Cosmo Gordon was his name

Stopped by today to find a shady spot to sit and read for an hour and half. Found a great spot next to the bathrooms and childrens play area. Lot of ball fields here. I also saw soccer fields, swimming pool and tennis courts. Down one star for and looking bathroom facilities next to the play area.

An enjoyable park for kids and a great pool place to catch a little baseball game or soccer game. As always pee-wee football on the fall.

Its close by to where I live and its big so you can do all kinds of stuff there. Theres a pool that is open seasonally, basketball court, soccer field, and of course a playground for kids.

Went there to play Disc Golf since I was in town for a few days, course needs some help at a few holes but is layed out pretty well. Did not see much of the rest of the park tho but when I first got there it was being well used, pool, ball field and BBall courts.

We tried this park to find a nice place to eat carry out. We only found 1 Pavilion next to the playground. It was nice but would think that there should be more picnic tables in a park other than one place.

Ive been coming here for years, live up by Manhattan,N.Y... I sure hope a everyone around here enjoys it like I do cause one day it might be gone to development and it will look like my neighborhood..

Lots of memories as a kid playing baseball here and now my son is playing... Loriella Park is still well taken care of and a wonderful place to play ball. Thank you to all who put such great effort in making this place such a memorable place for all families and players!!!

Loriella has been one of my favorite places since I was a teenager. Beautiful trails and ponds, its always very clean. Plenty of options for little kids, also tons of Parks and Recreation brochures/ pamphlets at the Information Center

This place has been open in Fredericksburg for as long as I can remember and I have been coming here for many years and they continually upgraded and take good care of the grounds.
