Such and amazing place. Great to walk around, take your time and literally smell the roses. Perfect place to go to forget about everything else that’s going on in your life for a while.

Had a wonderful time! The tea alone was totally worth it! I will say it was odd that the animals seemed very afraid of people. Not jumping to conclusions, just an observation. The tea and scones w jam and clotted cream was absolutely amazing though!

Would be a gorgeous place for a springtime wedding. Family owned and operated. Flowers were stunning.

Took a drive up north into NH to view a hobby garden turned into a private reserve. The trees and the flowers and plants many of which are not indigenous to the cold environs of the months of dreadful six coming soon. I had to see plant life before the grey sets in.The man tending to the plants was very passionate about the tending and knowledge of the plants/wildlife.Enough scribe. Find and enjoy the pictures I took.

Looking for a great place for an afternoon date. Tarbin Gardens is a wonderful place to visit for a few hours. The outdoor, the plants, the design, worth the small fee to enter and the drive there was nice too.

We had a wonderful time. My friends and I went here in the late summer, had the tea which was very nice. This is maintained by private people, so dont expect museum qualities, but it does let you get ideas and experiences. We loved it.

I try to go to Tarbin Gardens once or twice every year. Strolling through the gardens is like visiting heaven - so relaxing, peaceful and a wonderful way to indulge in the sounds and colors of nature. The English cream tea is exquisite amongst the flower-surrounded patio. This is one of the best spots in New Hampshire!

Love this place! I will definitely have to go back to try their scones and tea. So beautiful I didnt want to leave. I am excited akso for all the work they are doing on it, and so when I visit again, maybe their other exhibits will be complete.

I took my mother to see the gardens and she didnt want to participate in the tea, just wanted to see the gardens. It was mid July and perhaps the timing was such that there just wasnt much to see. It obviously a true labour of love and there is so much that has to be done to keep it up. However there were some sections by the animals that looked kind of cluttered with non-working equipment that could possibly be fenced off from view. Its small compared to something like Calloway Gardens but the price is reasonable and its worth a look, especially if an English Tea strikes your fancy.

For what they have, $9/person is too much. Maybe $5/person. We finished in about 45 minutes. Many flowers were blooming, but many others were done for the year. We walked all the parts and stopped to take plenty of pictures. There were random gardening tools left all over the place.

We visited Tarbin Gardens for the first time today. After chatting with the owner, we learned the history of this family business, which began as a small hobby garden. Today it is a delightful oasis of mature gardens along enjoyable pathways. Statuary and trellises adorn the varied gardens, giving them an artsy look. I was told to visit in July to see the lilies in bloom. Perennial gardens are my favorites and these will not disappoint.

Lovely summer afternoon walking the paths and admiring the woodland gardens, ending with tea and scones in a lovely quiet spot with a small gurgling fountain and a tiny, polite, sparrow who appreciated a few crumbs. A great place to relax and de-stress for a couple of hours.

Great place for a date and photo shoot. Always something beautiful and in season. We love to bring our own picnic, which they encourage, and chill at the pond there. Definitely take your time and see everything because theres alot of hidden like areas. Admissions is reasonable. Would be cool if theres a season pass? Well be back again next year.

Nice little garden but the map of the place is absolutely horrible. Still not sure we saw everything. Also kind of creepy that youre essentially just wandering around someones really nice yard lol.

We made the trip up from Concord for the gardens and tea service. We were so excited to come here, only to be greeted with a sorry not accepting cards today sign. My husband and I did not have a combined $35 in cash so we were turned away. I will never return to this business and will tell all of our friends and family to avoid this place.

This review is for the gardens only as we had just eaten and didn’t take advantage of the tea service. My daughter and I toured the gardens during the 3rd week of August. Many flowers were still in bloom. I really liked all the paths and small gardens. If you are expecting a finely manicured estate garden, you may be disappointed. The gardens have mostly perennials native to the woods of NH and offer a more “in the wild” experience. So very pretty and calming. The owners are super friendly and happy to point out special plantings. The gardens are a nice way to spend an hour or two on a nice weather day.

Theres a lot to see but keep your expectations in check. It is very pretty in some spots, but youll also find equipment and tools scattered about in some places. On a final note, the petting zoo animals are up the hill and out of the way so that may be a good or bad thing for you. There isnt much to see and the enclosures arent too well taken care of.Basically, its a neat place to check out for an hour or so and have some tea but the website mentions weddings and I would not recommend it for that or any other serious function.
