The railing on this bridge is quite low so exercise caution if bringing kids or pets along. The view is lovely, of course. Traffic does not stop and only slows down so be very careful. The wind picked up while we were in the middle of the bridge. The road leading up to it is beautiful, but most of the leaves are gone by now.

A great place to ride the motorcycle and to of course stop and have a heart to heart with your best friend in the world! Ive ridden the Trace countless times and have never been disappointed! No need to get in a hurry, just slow down and enjoy the scenery!

I only know the first 50 miles or so on the Nashville end, and it is beautifully organised. You can drive for long stretches and barely know civilization is around. Perfectly maintained even with modest current budgets. People you meet are nice. Very popular with cyclists and motorcycles. Plenty of deer and wild turkeys. Beautiful views from the Natchez Trace bridge also.

Beautiful scenery off the bridge and nearby lookout spots. This is part of a National Parkway that has 400+ miles of scenic gorgeousness from Mississippi to just south of Nashville. Excited to get back to drive (or bike!) for longer stretches. Highly recommend!

Excellent view. We stayed for more than 15 minutes. I know theres a trail going below from the view but we didnt want to risk going down there. Regardless, its worthwhile and best to go in the morning.

This is an awesome place for an absolute stunning view. One should be cautious while walking or driving in the bridge as there are no pedestrian lines and many people stop to take photos. Also, Be careful if you are walking with kids.

Make sure to walk to the little overlook spot right off the parking lot. You can get an amazing view of the bridge and the surrounding landscape. If you choose to walk along the bridge, you need to know that you will be very close to the cars driving on the bridge. It is not a pedestrian bridge, so just be prepared and be aware. The views are stunning, so it is well worth the walk across the bridge.

What a bridge! What a locale! Definitely one of the favorite most things Ive ever done in the US. Its super close to Nashville. It falls on the Natchez Trace Parkway. Once here, you get breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and countryside. If you look down, you can see a country highway pass. Occasionally, youll see a school bus stop and kids get out. Just a mesmerizing experience. Highly recommended.

Very lovely view here with a nice parking area located just off the side of the bridge. There is ample shoulder area on the side of the road for onlookers to walk out safely, and for my time there everyone that passed by would travel considerably slow both for there viewing pleasures as well as to keep watch for any little ones that were enjoying the view with family and friends. Please keep in mind this is an active road way with plenty vehicle, bike and pedestrian traffic so be courteous and ensure to stay out of the road for your safety and everyone elses! If your in the area, this is a wonderful spot to check out!!

Ma
Review №11

Beautiful views from the top and road parking area below. There is no sidewalk to separate pedestrians from the road and cars often don’t slow down, but because the guardrail at the side of the bridge is so short, you can’t really safely keep your distance from the traffic lanes, either. Please be careful, especially with children.

Very cool structure (actually more impressive than I was expecting) and a very nice, scenic setting. Definitely worth the trip if you live in or around Tennessee. I also saw something that... well, I will just say that it spooked me and person I was with. I really questioned whether I should add this to the review because it sounds strange and I don’t really believe in ghosts, but the experience definitely made the trip more interesting.

Absolutely breathtaking and well worth a road trip. Checked it out today on a day trip with my wife because we’re scouting a bike trip down the parkway. Will defiantly come back in fall to see the colors. God is an amazing artist, and the bridge fits so well into the scene.

Very nice bridge with amazing views of Natchez Trace and beautiful, scenic Tennessee. Highly recommend coming and taking some photos on the large shoulders of the bridge. I do think that the guard rails are too low though, they careful come on to mid-thigh and should be a little higher.

Not a great number of parking spaces here at the base of the bridge or at both ends. Nevertheless, the view from the bridge is absolutely beautiful regardless of the season. It definitely gets more crowded with warmer weather.Be careful as you walk along the bridge as the railing is extremely short, only 35 inches tall, and it could get dangerous on a windy day. All in all, the bridge is a beautiful part of the Natchez Trace.

Natchez Trace parkway is one of the most beautiful and breathtaking places youll ever seen in your life I highly recommend you check it out. I remember as a kid, my brother, my neighbors and I would all go down there as it was being built soon as they left for the day, and we would walk up half the heart until it got built all the way to the top! Then we would slide down the arch! It may sound scary but its not because its actually about 25 ft wide. we would walk up the arch and into the little space that you see underneath the road of the bridge and over the arch there is a gap there that is about 6 ft tall. And I definitely wouldnt recommend doing that right now because of all of the mortality writings and horrible things that have happened there. If anyone needs help please pickup a phone and call for it. Theres one last chance on.each end of the bridge now and yet people arestill complaining more and more about how short the railing was built into the bridge well that was almost two decades ago or moreand by now theres no way of fixing that so all we can do is ask our state representative in our district to have a team come out and weld a fence on high enough to catch anyone. but if you have your mind set on jumping off of that bridge then theres no changing them.period! Thats the hold that drugs can have on the human brain.

The view from the top of the bridge is just amazing. Just seeing miles of green rolling hills to the horizon. Sunset is beautiful from this bridge. The bridge itself is pretty nice and it is pretty massive. Driving under it, it makes you feel like a little ant or something. This place is both beautiful and kinda scary at the same time. Looking over the edge was a little unnerving for me. Its a... its a fair ways down. And no real barriers. Just a pretty short guardrail that you could very very very easily climb over. I can easily see why its pretty much become the local suicide bridge.
