Great place to bring visitors from out of town. The tour was informative but not too long. The tasting room was fun and the distillery itself is a unique log cabin sitting on a beautiful property. They have outdoor yard games you can play while waiting for the tour and a cool shop to buy merchandise. We’ve been here multiple times and everyone we take really enjoys the tour and staff. Oh and great whiskey!

We enjoyed our visit to Leiper’s Fork Distillery. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the distilleries history and how they produce whiskey, and how they use the biproducts. He knew all of the ingredients, the various grains, and percentage in each batch. We were able to see an active batch in early fermentation. We had a great tasting coach to walk us through the white rye, rye, and bourbon. Our guide was very engaging and personable, sharing tourist spots with us to visit while in the area.P.S. The black cat does not like to be pet.

Its a small tour but the tour guide Mathew was so lively and informative. I have an infant son and he was not the calmest but the tour guide was happy with the baby and smiling and even provided corks to entertain him. The whiskey was good, great place

Youll get a tour of this family-run, small-batch distillery then end with your fantastic tour guide explaining whiskey tasting as you enjoy their whiskies. This is definitely a must-do on your next trip to Nashville. Pops is the best!!!!!!

AMAZING whiskey tasting with Pops. I loved the history lesson and of course the whiskey. Overall great experience and would recommend folks to stop in, even if you arent really a whiskey drinker. My bf isnt a whiskey drinker but Pops gave him some tips.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lee Kennedy and his Family over the 4th of July weekend while visiting a near and dear friend in Alabama.The Kennedy Family treated me like I was a part of the Family and I also had the opportunity of tasting the Leiper’s Fork Distillery Straight Rye Whiskey. I am not usually a fan of Rye Whiskey; however, I was impressed by the quality, balance, and taste. Their Straight Rye Whiskey was still young, under four years old, so I can only imagine how great it will taste as it continues to age and mature. I was also impressed by the knowledge and passion that Lee has for distilling spirits and making hand-crafted Whiskeys while maintaining the heritage behind them. I could tell from talking to Lee that he, his Family, and everyone at the distillery, is very passionate about what they do.The Kennedy Family is top-notch and so is their Whiskey! It was an absolute pleasure to have met all of them and I look forward to touring the distillery in Tennessee soon.Cheers!

Absolutely had a great time at the distillery! Beautiful atmosphere and amazing whiskey! I had to take 1 star away because they did not follow the mask mandate. A family on the tour was not wearing masks and none of the employees seemed to mind or say anything. It made the tour slightly uncomfortable.

Our group had a nice time. Nice tour with great tastings. The owner, who gave us the tour, was very informative and taught us how to really taste and enjoy a glass of authentic Tennessee whiskey. Since I live in Columbia I will definitely be going again.

Maybe one of my favorite places to visit in Middle Tennessee so far. Pops was our tour guide & his passion for people, knowledge of the distilling process & local history made this some of the most enjoyable 60 minutes Ive experienced in ages. Truly a special place. And yes, the whiskey is good! Go- you wont be disappointed.

Great small town, down home distillery with some fine Tennessee whiskies that provides an intimate tour. Its also a great venue for parties or corporate gatherings.

WOW! This place was so much fun if you are looking for a nice time to unwind and be around a great crowd of people and a cat aka Hemingway cant forget Hemingway this is the spot for you. It has a nice scenic drive and once you get there you feel right at home. The distillery is small but the tour is about an hour long and its filled with so much history and information that the size does not matter in this case. I cant wait till they move the warehouse to where they store the barrels that will be fun to see and tour as well.

The staff here are wonderful people! They put out a good product and make you feel part of the family. The stories told by Pops help it feel like being welcomed into the family.

This was absolutely one of the best tours that I have ever taken. Pops, head tour guide, is very knowledgeable and has that easy going, laid back attitude and will banter with you as if hes known you for years. Such a welcoming environment and to top things off, the tastings were amazing. I would highly recommend making the drive out to this distillery if youre anywhere near the area.

According to the FDA on 7/24/2020, Leipers Fork Distillery sold hand sanitizer contaminated with methanol. Its dangerous and can make you go blind.

This place is wonderful! We went here by recommendation from local folks and I honestly want to plan a trip just to go back here. They combined a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with delicious whiskey and fun information. We didnt do the tour, but Emily greeted us at the door with a giant smile and a sweet heart. She introduced us to the place and made us feel at home. Matt did a great job with the tasting and we had a blast. We briefly met Pops, and he was a fun interaction as well.

Matt was our guide today and gave a most informative and entertaining tour of the facility. We learned so much about Kentucky Whiskey and Bourbon. Their whiskey products are quite good and the front of store folks are great fun to talk to. Great gift selections. Highly recommend a visit!

Outstanding tour! Very friendly, we loved it!!!

My boyfriend and I had a perfect experience on our tour! Our host was hilarious and friendly, tickets and merchandise was extremely reasonably priced, and we loved the tasting so much we bought a bottle for ourselves and family. We cant say enough good things about this place and their purpose; hope to be back soon!

Leiper’s Fork was a fantastic visit! Got to go with my family and we had a blast. Matt was a great tour guide. Tons of information in a nice format so they don’t overload you with the technical processes. Got to taste 3 delicious whiskeys. Will definitely come back to try some more once the 3 year rye is out!! Can’t wait!!

This was truly the highlight of our weekend. Do yourself a favor and stop by to talk to Emily on the porch, let her pour you a cocktail, then head on inside to sign up for a tour. Matt took a non-whiskey drinking gal like me and converted me after I learned the “right” way to taste it.

“Pops” our tour guide was cutting with Dad jokes and made a large group of strangers feel at ease, comfortable enough to enjoy the hour long tour. Easily worth the $10 & the bourbon was killer good. Never tried white whiskey either so that was neat. Had they not closed on Saturday @ 5 PM we absolutely would have hung out on the lawn, drank and played some corn hole. We were visiting but this is a place we would absolutely go back to & if I lived in LF would hang out there regularly!

DONT GET THE COFFEE!!! Our tour guide said it would be the best coffee we have ever had but its like drinking an Irish coffee with no alcahol. I dont know what I was expecting but its kind of unbearable to drink a full cup. The 10 year bourbon was actually incredibly good considering the place is only 3 years old... Funny how that is. The clear ones were on the same level as vodka for me... Mix it in anything but drinking straight is a no go.

The day could not have been more perfect. We sat outside on chairs and enjoyed the weather, drinks and extremely friendly staff. They were all so welcoming and fun. The drinks are great too. Dont be turned off by the girlie color of the Rasberry Lemonade with White Whiskey. Its delicious.I enjoyed the bourbon too, but later heard through the grapevine that they are currently sourcing theirs from George Dickel. It didnt take away from the experience though. Worth a stop if youre in the area.

We are talking serious quality and epicly processeed spirits.The gounds were beautiful, the buildings were exactly what you would expect. The Still was the most perfect creation a connoisseur could ever hope for and they had a place for us to land our helicopter which was kind of them to assist our lifestyle. Thanks Pops.

A wonderful tour full of information about the distillation process, what makes Leipers Fork unique and some history. Pops, the head tour guide, is entertaining and authentic. He knows his stuff and isnt the least bit pretentious or judgmental about those who dont know much about whiskey. He educates while having fun and everyone feels like they are being welcomed as old friends. A must if youre anywhere in the area.

I put a deposit of $500 down for a wedding/reception at Leipers Fork with April Weller-Cantrell late in 2018. My son and his fiance needed to cancel their wedding due to health issues. We notified Leipers immediately, and was still nearly 10 months from date secured. I was assured my $500 would be refunded. I NEVER received the refund, they claimed computer issues, but promised a refund. I have since emailed many times and now they will not even give me the courtesy of a response. So completely disappointed. They have since rescheduled the celebration and had originally intended to use Leipers again.... sorry to say they will not after the way we were treated and lied to.

We went to visit Leipers Fork and stopped by the Distillery, for a tour! Pops was our tour guide and it was AMAZING!! Can not recommend this enough it was a solid 10! Must do this when in Leipers Fork!!

Drove past the distillery at 9am on a Saturday morning and decided that a tasting would be a great idea. My boyfriend and I were visiting Nashville for a long weekend and this distillery was by far the best part of our trip. Totally unplanned and such a pleasant surprise, especially since I really dont like whiskey! The location is beautiful and pristine and we also learned the land has a lot of history. Pops led our tasting and not only taught us how to nose and chew whiskey, but he taught us the history behind the distillery and Nashville. He was the greatest and I actually enjoyed the whiskeys and bourbon we tasted! Such a wonderful experience all around. I recommend anyone go, even if you dont (think you) like whiskey. And be sure to ask for Pops!

My parents and I had a wonderful tour here whilst they were visiting from Australia. Pops really puts his heart into the tour and its a fantastic place to learn how to make and drink Whiskey. There is a real family atmosphere and the setting is very picturesque. Highly recommended to visitors in the area!

We took friends from out of town here and we are so glad we did. It’s intimate and the people who work here are passionate about what they do. The samples at the end of the tour were beautifully delivered in their tasting room complete with a wonderful whiskey style toast.

What an awesome experience .Toured with pops and laughed the entire time . We learned a ton about whiskey and then enjoyed tasting their whiskey . I highly recommend this tour and if you dont have time for the tour just stop in for a bottle of their whiskey . You wont regret it .

We took AllStars Limousine out here and the mgr is friends w the owners they treated us like VIPs. Early knowledgeable and friendly staff great location great tour great tasting.

Pops tour was amazing

This is a beautiful place and the whiskey tasting was a lot of fun. I didnt appreciate the jokes about how horrible Democrats are, and that it was ok if they were attacked by dogs on the property, however. Im sure this goes over well here, because most in this area share that sentiment. With little free time available, I hope to escape the stress of this world, not steep in it during an activity that should be about fun and escape. Its whiskey, after all, and the shared interest should bring people together, not further divide them. It was disappointing. This is what made me change my mind about buying a t-shirt or a bottle of whiskey, and Im not likely to return for future events.

We just happened to be traveling by on vacation and we missed closing time at a winery and my wife was kinda down and I somehow noticed the sign and we turned around. Pops was awesome he somehow saved our trip. The facilities were amazing they spent tons of effort with the appearance of the distillery. Pops was worth the trip alone he was able to give us a great experience and he tought us alot about wiskey in a short amount of time. I would recommend anyone coming through to put this on there bucket list . We will be coming back if we ever are traveling through again. Hopefully pops will still be there lol once you meet him you will understand
