Newfound place of serenity and peace. Absolutely gorgeous place to visit. Variety of playgrounds, veterans memorial and nice walking path around the water area!

At first i was really piss. But a hour and a half every thing change. Beautiful spot. I love it.

I saw this fountain while driving out to the McDowell Regional Park and I was blown away. From afar I saw it sprouting up and it looked like Old Faithful Geyser. Intrigued, I stopped my car by the park and even from my parking spot, I could hear the fountain. It was very scenic.The only thing is I dont think the turn on the the fountain until 9 am (?). It would be nice if it was on from sunrise- boy that would make a nice photo! Might have to come back at sunset then when it gets cooler to grab a pic of it.

Ok Worldfamous Fountain is probably one of the biggest exaggerations Ive ever heard. Yes, it is a nice fountain and a lovely park to relax or walk but thats about it. And oh yes, it gave the community surrounding its name.However, talking about world famous fountain, than you need to see the jet deau in Geneva, Switzerland, situated in the small harbor area of Lake Geneva and close to the buildings of the United Nations. The fountain goes up to 460 ft / 140 M. what a difference from what you see here. So dont expect anything spectacular, it is a nice little park with a pond but something you see in every bigger city.
