Fountain Park is like Central Park in New York City for the beautiful community of fountain hills. It’s located right in the downtown area of this greatest town in the world. Lots of recreation including disc golf, playgrounds, musical park and even a splash pad for summer time fun. On the a periphery of the park are great restaurants and a yogurt place and a wine bar. You can walk the entire downtown from this beautiful park That also offers beautiful grass and Mountain View’s not to mention the world famous Fountain that spouts each hour from 9 AM to 9 PM.

A really beautiful park. So quiet and peaceful. A nice place to relax and take the kids. Walk around the park and get a little workout. The best part is just really how quiet the park is. The sunset over the mountains are just beautiful

This park is amazing for the kids! There’s xylophones and instruments for the kids to make their own music. A great park structure for the children to run around. Great place to bring dogs, as well. There’s a great walking path around the waterfront

Plenty of local arts and tributes to our brave men and women. Take your dogs for a nice walk and when youre done, stop in at the many nearby restaurants and unique shops. Quaint, unique and dog friendly.

Very beautiful place. The fountain continues for first 15 minutes of every hour ( I guess b/w 9 am - 9 pm). A loop around the fountain is little more than 1 mile. Good for walk.

Nice walk around the park or you can add an extra hike through the hills and neighborhood boarding the park. The trail is easy and enjoyable.

This is a small park as far as places to sit and have a picnic. There is a cluster of seating areas near the parking lot and a few benches and picnic tables scattered nearby. You can walk around the small lake but the farther away from the parking area you go, the fewer the available seats.Still a little warm to really enjoy but theres plenty of shade near the parking area and no crowds. (at least on a weekday) Some of the local businesses were open and most offered outdoor seating areas facing the water.

Great place for a walk and dog watching. A gem in the the desert.

Beautiful park! Even in July the park has well kept grass and landscaping. The fountain goes off EVERY HOUR ON THE HOUR! I tried hard to find that information on line but I couldn’t so I’m gonna put it here in case anyone else is looking for it. The fountain only blew about 100ft. The sign says it’s blows 300ft and online it says up 560ft but maybe only on special occasions??Everyone at this park was so friendly and kind.Very dog friendly park which is so awesome. They had bags around the park for owners to pick up their dogs poop and many trashcans.They also had a water fountain for dogs!! Coolest thing I’ve ever seen

We came to watch the fountain as family, found out an hour later that it was closed. It really wasnt nothing to worry about though (we layed/sat on the grass conversing). I like to make music & they had a weird park dedicated strictly for instruments. I grabbed a few sounds from these & plan on 3D printing my own set of my favorite ones (I need these, the sound that they produced blew me away & truly inspired me.) Cool stuff! We plan on coming back in the fall.

Great park with a little bit of everything. There are several places around the lake to park. Depending on your goals, you may want to scope it out beforehand so you dont end up walking the entire loop looking for the kids playground or a cup of coffee. The entire park has a walking path around the lake. There are great spot for picnics, playgrounds, disc golf, and access to a small shopping center with restaurants.

Went for the craft fair. A very clean and nice town. The fountain is amazing.

Great walking trail 1.25 miles around the fountain. Close to restaurants with the water view. Within walking distance to shops and fountain Blvd is worth taking a stroll down

Park is always well maintained. The playground is so unique with the musical instrument section. There are nice statues that can add a special touch to your pictures. Bathrooms and drinking fountain available to the public. Make sure to check out the Veterans area.

The walk around fountain park was awesome. We walked at night so it was well lit and clean. Still a beautiful view. The grounds that we could see were well kept.

This park was awesome. There were tons of people and everyone was friendly. They had a fountain for dogs to drink. The fountain goes off every hour and it really is cool for a city fountain.

Prettiest disc golf course in the valley. Not ideal for beginners, but will not disappoint if showing off to a friend.

Awesome to watch the fountain, clean restrooms, water bottle refill, dog water fountain are both great. BUT overall the park is dirty and not well kept, and it stinks! A sea of trash and whatever else is floating on the water, felt like standing on shore i was about to experience Stephen Kings The Raft and after the mist from the large fountain, I was afraid I would grow another arm or something.

Unique fountain in a comfortable setting. Shops, eating establishments, walking path and artwork all in one package. Dont miss St Patricks Day when the fountain is green.

Such a fun park! There are so many things to do! You can look at art, watch what used to be the world’s tallest fountain, splash on the splash pad, go on some trails/hikes, bike around, have a picnic, or play on the playground! This is fun for the whole family! Especially great place for kids! But any age can have a BLAST here!

Loved this park. Beautiful place and fun for everyone including our dog. We enjoyed lunch at a nearby Italian restaurant that allows dogs in the patio area.

Fountain Park is really one of the most beautiful and calming parks Ive ever visited. They even have a musical play ground, for children and adults alike. I couldve played there all day. Its really quite lovely and I appreciate its beauty. Thank you Fountain Hills, Az. We even caught a rainbow!

Scenery from the park and surrounding venues is hard to beat. The park itself gives the impression of an Oasis while the background is sominated by views of Red Mointain and the Four Peaks set in the colorful Tonto National Forest. There are many scenic spots to enjoy a drink, snacks or full meal along with the view. We also enjoyed the first fountain show of the evening.

Fountain Hills is a beautiful park with a fantastic fountain beneath the clear blue skies. To me, this is one of the place to spend the quality time with family. Gorgeous, spacious, green lawn, blue skies, ducks quacking, harmonics & play area for kids, a good variety of cactus and desert plants maintained near the entrance, the veterans memorial are some educative stuffs alongside the surrounding natural composition. My daughter enjoyed the play area, and the spacious lawns a lot. By the way, she loved the ducks quacking.

This place is perfect for family picnics. This place is clean, peaceful, and just naturally beautiful

Very relaxing and calm. Well we did went around 11ish but still it was very nice. Went to see the fountain which runs on the hour from 9 am.

My husband and I went at night and walked around the fountain. It was well lit, plenty of room for everyone to walk on the sidewalk. I dont know if the restrooms were open, but I know they have some there.

The park has been reserved and right now the grass is brown, muddy, and ugly. It will be pretty again soon as soon as the winter grass comes in. Its still awesome! ITS FOUNTAIN HILLS!!!!

Attended annual Great Fair of Fine Arts & Crafts, a first rate local event held downtown & park area. Popular & well regarded show with many excellent artists plus lots of crafts, misc vendors plus food & music. Great amenities, free parking congested but available. Well attended but not overcrowded. Restrooms for event are portable units, but in adequate numbers & well maintained. Regarding park itself, downtown area borders park, many worthwhile eateries & shopping nearby year round. Park, lake & fountain area all beautiful.

Went to the Great Fair at Fountain Hills. Great Family fun, food and all these artists sharing their works with you! It was an great overall stimulating senses for ALL! If its your stomach or your eyes that motivate you theres something for someone. Plus, the park alone is stunning.

What can I say, this park speaks for itself. After spending six months in north Scottsdale after my first granddaughter was born, this is where I took her for daily walks. Great views. Plus the fountain which goes off every hour. Peaceful.

Came for the balloon glow festival and it was great. Parking was horrible but the overall park and activities were great. Next year it will be better to get there earlier.

Always fun family friendly events going on down here. We usually visit a couple times a year. In March they dye the fountain green for St Pattys day. Always good music and expensive beer available. Frequently has some great craft shows. The fountain is always a beautiful site and fires off at the top of the hour.

My wife and I went walking around this park today. Loved every minute of it. The fountain is really pretty and the park is so nice. Nice too see people enjoying life and enjoying each other.

Family fun and good times for all, even bring your dogs too. There is free entertainment, refreshments and goodies to accompy the visual spectacular. The hot balloons dont take air, but are still a wonderment to see. Be prepared to take lots of photos and dress warm!

Expansive park with beautiful views of the fountain! Great park for kids with chimes of various kinds to play for all ages to enjoy. Also, a large playground and a smaller one for younger children. Lots of birds to watch and feed. Grass is nicely maintained! Fountain is beautiful to see and watch and take photos by. Take a blanket and sit on the grass and enjoy a picnic like we did!

Took a handful of nursing home residents on a bus outing to see the Fountain after months of COVID19 lockdown. Arrived and found a perfect spot to see the iconic water landmark. Eleven OClock... Nothing. Fountain cancelled for no reason.

This one great clean park and I love the Fountain! Fountain comes on every hour on the hour! You have to see it to believe it! Lots of walkways & grass to enjoy ducks and other birds here. Sunrise and Sunset both provide photo opportunities. There is lots of statues spread around the park.

Beautiful park. There is a circumference walkway if you just want to walk. Plenty of grassy areas for running around or just having a picnic. There are benches overlooking the water to relax and take in the scenery. There is also a playground for the kids. We parked on the street, so Im not sure if there is a parking lot for the park. Overall great park.

A great place to walk, picnicking, frisbee golfing and just watch the Fountain go off every hour for 15 minutes plus some very cool public sculpture.

We had an amazing time chasing birds and looking at the majestic fountain. Its a good place to get some pictures.

Amazing afternoon, 70 degrees, slight breeze. Walking around the lake and watching the fountain shoot high in the air. Sunshine was warm and diverse displays of the succulents and cactus were excellent. So good, we walked around twice. At three miles per hour average, it was great exercise too.

Well kept park. We have gone there many times over the years. Quiet place with a splash pad for kids along with a playground and around the park is frisbee golf.

Its a wonderful place to take a walk or bike ride. There are some play areas and such, and they do sanitize the benches, and some of the stuff kids might want to play on. Not that I would recommend that!

Came around 245 to see the fountain go off at 3pm , but nothing happened. Looked around for posting stating fountain closure or something but found nothing. Did not see anything on their website either. Pretty park though!

Very beautiful but the fountain didnt go off when It said it would. In fact I wasted about 30 minutes of my time waiting for nothing. I traveled a good distance to see the fountain too, what a waste.

Excellent place for family outings with kids. See usually come here over the weekend and enjoy the fountain while kids enjoy the park.We also bring snacks to eat after the fun part.

Awesome little spot, immaculately clean, pet friendly, great walking spot, well lit at night and beautiful Mountain View’s in addition to the fountain that shoots off every hour on the hour for 15 minutes. It was even green for St. Patty’s Day! Recommend!
