Was in town and played here during Labor Day weekend. Great fairways, good greens that played fast. I am a fairly new golfer and this course was challenging yet fun to play nonetheless. Waterchase is very well kept and has beautiful scenery. I originally called in and reserved a tee time as a single. I had a friend who unexpectedly ended up tagging along last minute. Upon arrival, the pro staff had informed me that I was paired with a group of three as they didn’t expect me to have an extra player, rightfully so. However, they were so kind as to let us play just behind the group of three, hats off to the pro staff, sorry I didn’t get the gentleman’s name. I Will definitely be back to Waterchase anytime I am in the area and have to opportunity to do so.

We played here on 5/10/20 and it was a fun and challenging course, the greens were true and fast, we are looking forward to playing here again very soon. Clarence gave us amazing service and went above and beyond for us! Looking at tee times for Sunday right now :)

We held a “Ryder Cup”-style event out at Waterchase last weekend. Four rounds in three days from Friday-Sunday. Could not have had a better experience..... from setting it up with Clarence, to how all the staff treated our group of 12 all three days. If you are looking for a place to hold an event and be treated well - this is it! We got lunch catered in on our own since the do not have a kitchen, but Allison was more than willing and helpful to accommodate the delivery.The track is in great shape - especially for July in Texas. I don’t think we ever had a hard-pan lie. Greens were punched about a month ago, but you would’ve guessed it was much longer time with how well they have recovered and rolled true. The set up is super unique with the front 9 being more wooded and the back nine more wide open, links style. Challenging and blind tee shots are common, with several ways to play the holes.Can’t wait to go back! Give Clarence a call, I know he will go above and beyond to take care of you.

Now its down to a one star. Very disappointed with this place. I played yesterday morning. Yes it 50 degrees and lightly raining. They charged me the normal price then tried to charge my friend from out of town 90 something dollars all bc we didnt want to ride together in the same cart.... seriously??? We have had more covid cases in our county than ever before, over 3000 cases yesterday. But if you want to play here you have to pay extra to rude alone? Their excuse was they didnt have enough carts. We finished our round about 130 is bc of slow play and there where just as many carts as when we started. Ive had enough. My money will go to support other golf clubs in the area.

Sometimes finding a golf course when your from out of town, can be challenging. I couldnt of picked a more perfect place to golf. Ok the couse itself was great and challenging and obviously thats what you want. The most impressive thing for me and my wife was the Southern hospitality. The staff at Waterchase were amazing !Genuine friendly people and whenever were in the Dallas Fort Worth area, well be sure to pay them a visit!!!

Beautiful and challenging course in great condition. I played from the tips starting around 3 pm and finished my round in 3 hours.Since it was my first time playing; a few holes (like 10 and 17) were a little tricky.Nonetheless, I will definitely play this course again. If I lived closer; I would play it often. I recommend others play this course as well.

Good course, but had up to 4 groups backed up on tees. Need to get a marshal out there and keep people moving. Wont be back anytime soon.

Im a low single digit, I feel very pleased to have been shown this place. True challenging championship golf. Fantastic layout with clean fast greens and EXCELLENT condition. Definitely 5 and an equal to many top privates course for course.

Horrible experience!! I brought my father to play this course along with a work colleague and our rounds was 5 hours long! BAD course management by the Marshall. Course was extremely slow and we almost got into an altercation with the group behind us trying to rush our round when the whole course was packed with players. Overall, terrible experience, they lost 4 customers and I would advise anybody to save your money and not play this course until they clean house with their current staff.

Waterchase is the best public course in the metroplex as far as condition. It is in better shape than 90% of the country clubs in our area. Now it is also an extremely challenging gc as well. My hats off to the superintendent. Amazing work!!!Let me not forget the guys in the clubhouse. They took great care of us while we were there. I left my driver head cover on number 16 and the had it ready for me the next day. Thanks guys!!!

This is by far one of the best public course layouts Ive played. Great rates. They have an app that gives you all the details needed to play smart. I saw another review where the guy mentioned using every club in your bag. So true! But the best part of all was the staff. From first greeting, to on course staff and the conversation I had with the GM at the end of the round, I couldnt have asked for a better experience!

Lots of players, probably 50% more than normal. More wear and tear and the course is showing it. Staff is good and friendly.

Wow! The course is well managed and well kept and very challenging to the novice golfer like myself. The staff was professional, friendly and very courteous. One of the Marshalls even took to time to help me find my driver cover. I had a great time no matter what numbers were jotted on my scorecard!

Always, always, always in great condition. Played at several courses the past 5 weeks and Waterchase, by far, is in the best shape of all. Even those in OK. Fairways, PLUSH! Greens beautiful, hold and putt true. I thoroughly love playing here and is my favorite course. Todays round was most enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Amazing golf course! Membership is reasonable too! Definitely recommend this course if youre looking for a country club feel on a public course.

Even though there was a scramble going on there, I was still able to play. I was paired with a couple from Denver, and none of us knew the course or layout. Great place to play and tee box choices based on handicap, so theres options for every level of player.

Go play this course right now! I played yesterday at 5pm and finished in 2 hours. Course is in superb shape. Lush and true, quick greens. Sad I’m moving to Colorado and won’t get to play this track as often any more :(

I have played a lot of golf courses from my local course in Lafayette, LA to Pebble Beach and I must say not only the golf course was perfect, but your staff you have working there makes it that much more enjoyable. I am looking forward to coming back to Waterchase when I have more business in Dallas. I would like to give a BIG thank you to Mr. Clarence E. Henderson for taking care of use. I will be sure to bring him some boudin next time I come back to Dallas and will recommend this course to all my golf buddies. Thanks again!!!!

Secretly a great golf course placed nicely between Dallas and FW. They have recently made a lot of little improvements to staff and F&B offerings. Its in a flood plain so it stays wet for awhile after a rain but its TX so its not a problem very often.

Waterchase Golf Club is one of the best golf courses in the DFW area - without question. The layout is unmatched, with several water features meandering throughout the track. The greens are fantastic and fairway lines are always solid. They have cold beer and drinks, and excellent customer service. Whether youre the local weekend warrior, a 4 handicap, or traveling in at DFW Airport, this is a course to check out.

My 3 buddies and I yesterday played a twilight (4pm) here and loved it. Its off of I-30 so not very far for some of mid cities folks that like to play. The fairways and roughs were very well landscaped and the greens were very well groomed and in great condition. The speed is very good on the greens and no divot holes or bumps to unexpectedly ruin your break read. I would give this course an edge over Texas Star if youre playing in August. I dont know how the other months are since this is the first time Ive played here, but I definitely like conditions.Course Layout: Mixed style of holes. You have some longer holes and shorter holes which require more precision. Some greens are larger than others, some have some good breaks and require that you approach it in the right area. There are moguls and lots of water which makes the view exciting and fun.Staff: Very friendly, however, we didnt notice any cart girls/people going through the holes. Didnt know why that didnt happen considering it was in the summer. This is one of the reasons why I didnt give it a 5 star rating.

Bring your A Game when you come to this course and you will have a fantastic time. In my opinion, its the best course in the area.

The course is a fantastic course to play. It is challenging and fair for every level of golfer. The only downfall is the clubhouse. I personally like to hangout after the round and enjoy drinks and food in a more welcoming atmosphere.

Waterchase Golf Course is a special place. The track is full of character and beauty. The staff is beyond friendly and professional. They treat you like family. Straight from their heart.This place is good for the soul.

This course exceeded my expectations. I played the 2nd from back tees and it was long but very fair. Challenging course. Each hole is very unique. Condition was A+

Very nice course...but dont expect a real clubhouse...unless a doublewide is to your liking. One would think for what they charge to play here, they might...just might decide to put a little money back into the kitty to build a brick and mortar clubhouse. If the course had that one element, it would get five stars from me...but I just cant make myself give up that last star on this occasion.BTW, make certain to bring bug / mosquito repellent; this course is in a wet area (hence the name Waterchase) and mosquitos are prevalent.
