Friendly staff and the room we had was great! Very well designed room we were in (The Train Heist) In the past at other places, we had to ask for clues but, here at Secret Chambers they had a monitor helping along the way. I’m a bit more competitive so maybe the guests could ask for help FIRST before the monitor gives clues but, my friends didn’t mind it. Also there is unlimited clues and I’ve always been used to having a set number of clues at other places. If we go again, we may as a group limit ourselves to 6-10 clues just to make it tougher. Don’t get me wrong we appreciated the help because we did get lost along the way.Overall it was a fun room with great design and a few jump scares along the way. 4 out of 6 of us had never been to an escape room and they still talk about how fun it was to this day. Thanks again for the fun memorable birthday!

We did the Rage Room experience and the Train Heist. The hosts for each room were fantastic, friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable for each experience. The Train Heist puzzles were engaging. The room was well built with multiple period pieces. Would highly recommend for small groups of 3-5 people. The Rage Room is best for 1-2 people. We will definitely be back for another escape room they offer.

This was hands down the best experience I have ever had at an escape room. The staff are amazing and so friendly! The room selections are awesome and you will enjoy each storyline! The safety brief in the beginning is very informal and sets you up for success. We have been twice and and plan to try to make this a monthly activity. If I could give “The Poe Adventure” 6 stars, I would. After 250 games played, this room has now taken the place at the top of my list. An absolutely magical (and terrifying!) mix of storytelling, puzzles, adventure and wonder go into making this game the most satisfying play experience I’ve ever had. From a seamless and whimsical set to challenging but in-theme puzzles, literally everything in this room was intuitive and most importantly, FUN! The technology and special effects are top-notch with ghostly happenings “peppered” throughout. Suffice it to say that this experience is NOT TO BE MISSED!! #caboosecoffee

We went as a family to celebrate some birthdays. We had a blast! The Mafia room was so much fun and we caught Bonnie and Clyde with just a handful of minutes to spare. Staff was super fun and friendly. We will definitely be back!

We have been to this one three times and we have had so much fun! Witchs Tower was my favorite but we also enjoyed Mafia and today we did Train Heist! You will have a great time and if you beat the room, you can get a discount for the next booking! #rabblerousers

This location is awesome- For the price and how elaborate the rooms are Id come again with my group! Ive done the mob room and the train heist. Didnt finish the Mob room but love how we had actor in costume help out also. Really sets you in the room setting. Definitely worth the price especially during covid! Id come came for a 3rd time!!

Went with my boyfriend and his kids as a team building exercise (and also just for fun). It was my second time doing an escape room but first time at The Secret Chambers Escape Room. We were greeted immediately upon entering the building and the staff was very enthusiastic and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised at how detailed the rooms were and definitely had a blast. The adventure we picked was The Witchs Tower and we had 7 people in our group ranging in ages from 10 years old to 40 years old. Everyone was able to find something to do in each of the rooms. Our strategy at first was divide and conquer but after awhile we realized that it was better if we all put our heads together. The puzzles were embedded well in the rooms. Some puzzles were interactive which the younger kids absolutely adored while some were more subtle where the older kids could feel more challenged.We would absolutely love to return again some time and would definitely recommend The Secret Chambers Escape Room to friends and families. I cant wait to go back for the other challenges.

My volleyball team came here for some team bonding and we had a blast! This was fun for my athletes as well as myself. I have done an escape room before and this was by far my favorite. I did the train heist and I am looking forward to their new rooms coming out! I definitely recommend.

A MILE ABOVE the rest!!! We have done well over a dozen other escape rooms and never had an experience this amazingly theatrical and fun!! The rooms at Secret Chambers have the themes done perfectly! You feel like you are in a movie or on a mission as you solve clues that are all part of the story (unlike many rooms with random puzzles and locks). We cannot recommend enough!DJRATS

We visited Secret Chambers on August 14, 2020 to do the Witch’s Tower room. Like all of their rooms, it exceeded expectations. Absolutely magical! It was such a great night out for my birthday. We’ve been to other escape rooms, but Secret Chambers is hands down the best. Now we don’t go anywhere else. Their rooms are so immersive, and their puzzles/games are always new and challenging. My family and I have done all the rooms and have completed all but one, we will be back to complete that one. Both the Arlington and Ft. Worth Escape Room Employees are great. They make you comfortable, safe and have all been pleasant to be around. We cannot wait till there are more rooms to escape from and solve.

Fantastic time and very flexible with me. Accidently scheduled on the wrong day and they helped me schedule to my correct day. When we arrived they even allowed us to switch rooms because they were both available to a room that is more our speed and we had a blast. My wife and I are avid escape roomists...escapists...escape room adventurers...whatever the proper name is. Anyway. We have gone to escape rooms across north Texas and even in a couple other states. The Secret Chambers is one of our favorites, if not top favorite, for sure.The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. You get a guide for your room who is usually in costume for the room theme.The rooms themselves are *very* well done. There are usually 2-3 rooms within each escape room. The props are well made and do a great job of making you feel immersed in the theme.I cant wait for them to open new rooms so we have more reasons to go back!

This was a super fun way to spend our Sunday! The website is really easy to use. We got there 15 minutes before and the sign in process was easy and didnt take long. We began our Pirate Adventure, and while we didnt win, it was super super fun! It was our first time ever doing an escape room and we got 3/4 of the keys for the final objective. Definitely recommend! We will be going back.

We went here for my daughters 15th birthday! It was so much fun! Even my grumpy husband who hates this stuff enjoyed it. The Witchs Tower adventure is fairytale based and great for kids, although there are a few surprises that may scare younger kids. I would say if they can watch a live-action Disney movie they would be okay. We completed our mission with 5:49 remaining! I think it is awesome that the rooms are not locked and you can step out if needed for those who get anxious. I also have friends with light sensitivity, so it is safe without strobe or fog use!

Recently went for my third time. We did the Witchs Tower this time and it was great! I took my two preteen boys this time and it was a great thrill for them. The storyline, props, and diversity of puzzles at the Secret Chambers isnt matched at any other escape room Ive experienced. This place is the absolute best.

Doing 3 rooms in “The Secret Chambers” was aesthetically amazing and a fun experience. “Witches Tower” and “The Train Heist” are good escape rooms for people who love a story line, beautiful decorations, and only one puzzle at a time. These rooms would be great for kids! For my family who does escape rooms often, “The Mafia Adventure” was a better challenge, held many intriguing puzzles, and had better multitasking for family involvement. This room was much better for experts. Overall, we had a wonderful time!

Had a great time in the Train Heist!! We made it through and robbed the train. So much fun trying to solve the riddles. Also love all the staff, they do a great job!

We did the Mafia Room. It was challenging and lots of fun. Everyone enjoyed in our group which included ages 14-52. Highly recommend. Staff very friendly.

Great facility and even better staff. The facility was clean and well designed game room. The staff werent just workers but fans of escape rooms so that made it so much more enjoyable. It was muy first time but others in my group have been to several and they said this was at the secret chambers was at the top.

We really enjoyed the escape room, I felt we were given ample clues to get us through the rooms, but not overly simplified. Great way to have fun and exercise your brain. We will definitely come back!

My family and I loved the experience!! We did the mafia room and the pirate one. The mafia was a lot of fun but we didn’t escape that one. We plan to come back soon and defeat it!

My husband and son had went to one of secret room speakeasy, it was one of the best thing to do together, we had so much fun did not realize we pick the harder room, for first time, but we had a blast, and they said we did pretty good for being our first time. would highly recommend for anyone to try it out, you will not have any regrets, will definitely do it again.

We had a blast and the whole look of the room was excellent. Our host was extremely kind and very helpful. We had a great time and are definitely going to try all the rooms available.

My tennage daughter went with some friends and said that everything was very well thought out. It seems like the people at this escape room spend a lot more time planning everything out than others. They were there for a little over an hour and it cost around $80 discounted for four people. Would definitely go again, but this would be something that you would want to split the cost on.

Awesome experience! Did the mafia room, didnt catch Bonnie & Clyde however if only was a a few faster we may have accomplished it. Was told this was the hardest one to escape. Will definitely be back to try other rooms

It was my husband and daughter birthday. We had a great time with the family . My 6 year old granddaughter lived it. We were able to escape with under 2 minutes left. We are definitely doing this again. The staff was great too.

This is the only escape room in the DFW area I have experienced so far where the game master is in character — from the costume to the accent, it was impressive! We were 3 people and did the Mafia Adventure room, the room is well designed and logical. I would recommend no more than 4 so everybody gets to experience all the puzzles. We will be back!

We went to the Fort Worth location. We chose the Mafia room. It was SO much fun! The staff was wonderful and the room is a must! We can’t wait to go back!

I just finished my experience in the train heist room and i have one word for this, AMAZING from the moment we walked in we knew we were in for a treat with wonderful customer service . The room itself was fun for the whole group of 8 with a great span of ages keeping us all busy from the start and the mechanics in the room were very cool and unique. Everyone there acted for the experience making it feel like we were really burglars robbing a train, in the end my party escaped and we got a photo taken. I would definitely recommend this escape room.#AbramClan

We have done over 50 escape rooms and this definitely ranks the top 5. The rooms are amazing and well made. we have a lot of fun each time. We did 3 of the rooms. The witch’s tower is my favorite, i got to pretend to be a princess the whole time. I can’t wait to do the rest of the rooms they have.

I took the family since it seemed to be a fairly safe activity to do during the pandemic. I do not regret the decision one bit! We had an absolute blast working together as a family to break the curse on the enchanted tower. Wolves were fought, frogs were saved, potions were brewed, and magic was cast! I would highly recommend going. Im sure all their rooms are equally fun and we will be going back!

I had never been to an escape room before, so a group of 4 + myself decided to try The Secret Chambers out. It was a first time experience for all of us. I must say it was the absolute most fun any of us have had in a very long time. They have several different rooms, each with different themes, and scenarios. There are options for all different kinds of people, and they even have a Rage Room on site. If you have never been to an escape room, or if this is something you have done and enjoy, I highly recommend The Secret Chambers to anyone.

Staff was very friendly and the building is nice and clean... Now onto the room experience...The reason for 3 stars was the escape room itself, The Pirate Adventures...This was my 5th escape room and the first time at Secret Chambers. The escape room itself was boring. Too small and congested for 5 people as we found ourselves getting in each others way and looking at the same puzzles/clues,frequently. The puzzles themselves were very challenging, but not enticing enough to care. I was bored. I didnt feel drawn into the story or the fun of seeing where the clues take you. It needs to be revamped to be a bit more creative and fun. I cant speak for the other rooms and this place is highly rated so Id maybe give it another try, but I would not recommend the pirate adventure. For $25 to $29 I expected more.

Amazing friendly staff and location. Its very clean and organized. This is our first escape room and it was a blast! We ended up finishing with less than 10 minutes left. Our guides were energetic and charismatic. The pirate room that we did was doable for a first timer. I highly recommend this location for an escape night out!

Wow, what a fun Covid Pirate Adventure! 6 of us went and ESCAPED with just over 3 minutes to spare. We had so much fun. Our pirate friend was helpful when needed, the precautions put in place to keep everyone safe was amazing. We all felt very comfortable participating. I mean not participating but being apart of the adventure. So glad you were able to open back up. You all should book soon!! We cant wait to be back!

We loved it! The staff was friendly and helpful! They had props you could wear/use for every room. The attention to detail is great. The clues are so well intertwined with the design of the room it another level of play. Fair warning this one will make other escape places seem a little less... well everything.

We did the Mafia Adventure with family and friends for my hub’s bday. So fun and challenging, but not so hard that you don’t want to finish. We loved the time era decor. We will be doing more rooms at this place! #teamXtreme

We took my oldest daughter to the rage room for her 25th. It’s was definitely unique and fun. The host was professional and understanding to my Claustrophobia.

I am honestly not a fan of escape rooms. I’ve done a number of them because my husband loves them. We did the Witch’s Tower while some friends were visiting from out of town recently and it was great. My husband and friends loved it and I have the say this was the first time I genuinely enjoyed an escape room. The staff was awesome and there were plenty of precautions taken due to COVID-19. Secret Chambers is definitely far above anywhere else I’ve ever been and I would actually enjoy going back.

Escaped from Cthulhu Room several years back, couldnt see how they could beat that. Our visit last week solving The Pirate Adventure was so much fun Im already making plans to try the Train Heist soon. Great family outing

The best escape room in DFW! Everything is always well done. The decor, puzzles, everything is top notch. We have done all the rooms and just did the Poe Experience at the Arlington location. It was challenging without being frustrating.

This escape room is phenomenal! I really enjoyed working together in a group of 6 to solve two rooms: The Witches Tower, and Train Heist. Both provided different environments and methodologies towards completing the rooms, and I definitely got my moneys worth with all the puzzle-solving, surprises, and laughs!

Definitely loved this! It was most of our groups first time, but it was super enjoyable and so much fun! The room(train heist) was set up well and the establishment itself was so clean! The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful when needed. Cant wait to book another room with them in the future!

It was interesting at the start because you entered a panic mode of wanting to leave on time and thoughts are running through your head trying to find where all the boxes and clues are so it’s a pretty rushy experience but fun as hell over all I really recommend it to anyone who wants to try an escape room wether it be the first time or more.

Awesome place, very self explanitory! Employees where very nice, they explained everything th thoroughly! Enjoyed it very much! Even took my neice and daughter they even LOVED IT! At the end of the room they come in and take your group photo! Then you have an option to purchase the photo ! Its great , I highly recommend it to every one!

Tried the Train Heist room today! Other than one little hangup, we made progress steadily without anything feeling too easy or too hard. We got out with about 10 minutes left! It was super fun, very thematic

The RAGE Room was very satisfying/fun. Two adults, one 14 year old, half an hour of destruction. This is the perfect social distancing activity. Just your family, your anger issues, and a bunch of breakable stuff. #PanicInTheRageRoom

Been here twice I will most definitely will come back I enjoyed both experiences and this last one they went above and beyond to help me give my niece a surprise gift I had for her!! I would most definitely recommend this place to everyone from the costumer service on the phone to the arrival and the whole escape room challenge it was great!

This was our familys first escape room experience, and it was absolutely amazing! We took a group of two parents and 5 junior high girls, and we were all able to play together and have a blast. This isnt actually an escape room; its more of a team puzzle challenge, so there isnt any feeling of being trapped. The puzzles and clues are fun and varied, and everyone on our team was able to valuably contribute.The idea is that your team has 1 hour to complete the objectives and unlock the Pirate chest. You do this by solving one puzzle after after another, unlocking various boxes with secret keys and combinations that you found earlier in the game. There is an in-character guide who is always willing to give you hints if you get stuck, but you have to explicitly knock on the door and ask for help.(I think they made an exception for our group, though. After a full 20 minutes of fiddling with everything and making no real progress, he finally decided we needed some help and directed us to the first item in the long clue chain. That ended up making our game much more enjoyable. Be smart, and ask for the starting clue up front.)We started with the Pirate room, which is supposed to be the easiest room, but there are also other rooms of increasing difficulty. We were just looking for something fun to do after a basketball tournament, but this would also be an excellent activity for a birthday party or a family outing with friends.Make sure you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time because your 1 hour game clock will start exactly 5 minutes after your scheduled start time whether you are ready or not. You cant start the game until all the adults have signed the waivers and everyone on your team has heard the rules read.We will absolutely be doing this again.

OMG! This was so much fun! The staff is amazing! As soon as your experience starts they get into character. We did “The Train Heist” and we had to steal the moola from the train. Our first escape room experience and it was amazing!!! We did The Witches Tower and it was so intricate and surprising. We had a lot of fun and will definitely be back.When left the room, the host came in to reset the puzzles and we noticed she had a lot of cleaning and disinfecting supplies which was nice. Im sure all those puzzles go through a lot of hands and it felt clean and well maintained.

The theming on their escape rooms has always blown me away, and they hit that sweet spot of not impenetrable, yet not obvious, with fantastic use of space. Its a blast - Ive done 3 rooms and recommend all of them!

The challenges were of decent difficulty making it a good time. The “host/Narrator” was very helpful at making sure we didn’t get stuck with very subtle hints. Definitely recommend!

Ive done a ton of escape rooms, in DFW and around the world. The Secret Chambers is one of my favorites. Ive completed 4 of their rooms. Its always a great time and everyone is friendly and encouraging.What really sets them apart is how they take the time to build high quality games with great stories, puzzles, sets, and actors, while so many other escape rooms only hit on one or two of these elements.For example, the guides will dress in costumes and act their parts, in addition to giving hints. All of the rooms Ive completed have separate parts, such as crawl spaces and multiple rooms with doors to unlock between them. They also shine in their puzzles, which are almost always built into the room and decorations instead of just combination locks.Their stories are creative and unusual. They are objective based, such as breaking into a bank vault instead of simply escaping a room. They run the gamut from pirate adventures (our guide was a pirate in costume with many an pirate joke), a witchs tower, or a steampunk train heist.

Hands down the best escape room I’ve ever gone to. Staff was courteous and engaging. Rooms were challenging and well maintained. Love it so much we booked a return trip before we left. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend the Fairy Tale Room.

My family and I just did The Witches Tower this evening. It was a blast! We had a lot of fun with this room, definitely among my favorites. It was very interactive and Story Driven. I particularly enjoyed that it actually felt like were in the story, not just there to solve puzzles and open locks. We took my Niece (10) and Nephew (12),their 1st time doing an Escape Room, and they are now addicted; wanted to do another one right away, lol. Well definitely be back to try out their other rooms.

For those with kids.We have been twice. First we took a group of 2 adults and 2 kids (9) to try the Witchs Tower. It has a cool fairy tale theme and lots of interaction with fun special effects. We were able to complete it with about 1 minute left. Absolutely loved the experience.The second time we took a group of 2 adults and 3 kids (8-10) to try Train Heist. It was more challenging, but we did complete it and had lots of fun in the process.The adults definitely led the charge, however the kids were able to participate and solve many of the puzzles as well. Sometimes the kids had a way of approaching the problem that the adults didnt think of. Could young children solve the whole thing on their own? Probably not, but they can definitely contribute and have tons of fun being a part of it. If you get stuck, the Narrator will give you hints.We have been to other escape rooms and they do not even compare in the level of detail and creativity of this place. The spaces are created specifically for the design of the puzzles, rather than trying to cram everything into a room not built for it. This is one of the things that separates Secret Chambers from the rest, IMO. We intend to try all of their episodes. We know that there is no way to be disappointed.TL;DRIf you are looking for creative episodes with special effects, awesome surprises, and an excellent experience... stop looking. You will find it at Secret Chambers.

We decided to try this company out because all I wanted for my birthday was to do an escape room, and I am SO glad we did. This is the 5th escape room company my family and I have tried and this place is now our new favorite!! The kids, 15, 13 and 11 years old, all agreed too!! We did the witches tower and I cant begin to tell you how decorated and intricate and interactive it was...it was simply the best!! I also loved how much they didnt do the puzzles for you and allowed you to figure it out yourself with just a very slight nudge every now and then :) I CANNOT wait to do another room!!UPDATE: We did all three rooms that were available within a 5 day period they are all amazing and all worth it!! This crew is amazing! Just booked the mafia room and will probably book the Poe room within the week!
