These rooms are beautiful and they put so much work/thought into the actual theme! They are very technical and really throw you in the theme.... but that’s the only good part. We completed all 6 of there rooms, in every room (except for the theater) there were puzzles that it was impossible to solve without a clue. After the rooms we asked how we were supposed to figure out the proper way to solve it, and they replied that you can’t without a clue or just messing around and happening upon it. Aside from that they also have timed based clues, there were 2 rooms where I asked for a clue and was met with silence for 3-4 minutes even though I asked several times. We have done hundreds of escape rooms and these were the first ones where the puzzles made no sense. There were also several red hearings in each room, one room we spent 20 minutes solving the puzzles just to find out at the end that there was no point to it. They were designed to waste your time. Like I said, gorgeous rooms, but they need to have some trials and take the feedback seriously with how to redesign there puzzles, potential for the best, but needs a lot of work

So much fun! We’ve done about 20 Escape Rooms and this was one of our absolute favorite. Do “The Theatre”, it was so entertaining!!Emily was an awesome host, not too much help but enough to keep us moving. We had a great time!

We did the Meltdown room on Sat, Sep 5th. It started out great, but there was no sound notification for when clues were offered and some of the props were unreadable. We got all the way to the safe, figured out the combination, but the numbers were not legible. Our entire party was upset that we couldve escaped, but no one could read the numbers on the safe. It looked like they attempted to use whiteout to remake them, but they were not legible. Also, we were told that a picture that was taken of us would be sent via text message. We received an email stating it was on the FB page, but its not there. Ive called multiple times, left a message with one person and left 3 messages on voicemail. No one has called me back. Now we have no picture of our sons birthday. Very disappointing.

We really enjoyed the Jurassic escape room! This is by far the most elaborate of the rooms at this location! Since Ive completed them all, heres my ranking of the rooms:6. Meltdown - Its created to give you a meltdown and is super stressful. I do not recommend this one.The twist is not worth the anxiety.5. Submarine - This one is fun and interactive. Its on the smaller side though. Its only two rooms. Lots of digital components. Almost like a mini video game in an escape room. I did this with my teenage cousins who had never done an escape room before. They loved it and we broke out just in time!!!4. Western Bank Heist - This one is GREAT for beginners! Its pretty straightforward and fun for the whole family. Plus its set in the wild wild west!3. Clock Tower - This one requires a bit of math and, no surprise here, a pretty good understanding of time. Its highly interactive and theres a bunch of moving parts! Its actually the only one I didnt solve, but it came down to losing a clue card at the very end. I recommend having at least 4 people in this room, but we nearly solved it with 2.2. The Theatre - I LOVE this room! If youve done very many escape rooms, this is great for a pro! Theres a ton of twists that make this really fun and challenging. And in case youre a chicken like me, this room isnt scary. Check out the really cool puppets! I recommend at least 4 people. Youll need all four for one part specifically. We had three in the room and had to improvise. All in all, this is the BEST room for cool clues!1. Jurassic Escape - Normally I would name the room with the coolest clues the winner, but the special effects in this room are just too cool to not make it #1! There are 4 rooms in this puzzle, which is lots of fun, and dinosaurs galore! Would not be good for someone thats sensitive to flashing lights or anyone that doesnt like loud noises or is afraid of the dark. Dont worry, nothing jumps out at you! I recommend making sure someone has a flashlight on their phone. Also make sure someone is dressed to crawl on the floor.

My group loved it! This is only our second time in an escape room and we thought it was so fun. Emily was very sweet and helpful to us. Definitely will be coming back.

When we first did the escape room it was very fun. The Clue master was very helpful and we had a great time. The second time around was not fun. The clue master was not the friendliest and it seemed she was not paying attention to our game. She gave clues that we already past and waited for ever to help move on the game. We are all disappointed because we were hoping for an experience like the first one but didn’t get any where near it. Not to mention it’s not cheap.

Escape the room was tons of fun and definitely more challenging than we expected! Ethan was our guide and made sure everything ran smoothly! We would definitely love to come back and play again!

We signed up to do the escape room as a fun activity and to try something new. Once we got inside we were led to the theater room and directed that a hint would be provided every 5-7 minutes. The entire experience is about an hour long. I would say approximately 20 minutes in, we stopped receiving hints for the rest of the game. We also found various clues throughout the game that were meaningless or phased out due to Covid. We were never instructed on what was phased out or directed with the hints. Later the front attendant said that the boss stoped by so he stopped giving us hints because he got busy. I would not recommend this escape room, especially for the amount you pay and the experience you receive.

Escape the room was lots of fun and more than we expected! Emily was our host and was FANTASTIC! We will definitely be coming back and play again!

2019, March, Party of 4We arrived 30 minutes before our scheduled room via Uber.The facility was easy to find. There was a huge sign in the windows & doors outside.The rooms are in the basement level. Bathrooms and sectional couches were provided for people waiting.We were greeted by a friendly staff. Board games were available while you wait. We were taken to our room, Western Bank Heist, at exactly our reserved time. We went on a weekday, so it was not busy. We get to solve the puzzle just with our group-- no additional people.The room was really prepared and constructed for the scene.Yes, we were able to get out in less than an hour.The staff took a picture of us after we got out our room.It was a pleasant experience!If you this review helped you in any way, please give it a thumbs up!Enjoy!

Our of all the escape rooms I have done, this place is the most elaborate. We enjoyed having to figure out more than just lock combinations. The staff were great and Julia was very attentive during our room. We did a very popular room and my only complaint is that some of the interactive pieces looked like they needed to be replaced due to overuse. If there was a bit of a fluff up to the room it would do wonders.

Had a good experience with friends in a jurrasic park escape room. Emily was fantastic on the other end on the radio.

The escape room we did was the theater, and it was great. The room was well thought out and we won so maybe thats why we had fun. But even if we lost we would have still had fun.

We have been here a couple times. Rooms are a little challenge. Good spot to check out for an escape room. We had a couple technical difficulties in one of the rooms. Other wise would have been another great experience & staff if awesome. Very friendly .

The escape room was more high tech than Im used to and that made it really fun and challenging! I did not enjoy the skill game (had to be good at hitting buttons at a precise time, took us FOREVER TO GET IT.) in one of the rooms, but enjoyed the thought process behind it.Our first room had a glitch and was unusable so they let us choose another room (Jurassic themed) and it was SO WORTH IT. We were close to making it out...maybe next time!

Good rooms. Had fun... except that they charged us $50 because my buddy accidentally left with one of the keys. I get it, but $50?Come on...

Outstanding! Doing an escape room had been on my bucket list for years, and Escape The Room Fort Worth really made it an awesome and memorable first experience! The quality of the rooms and puzzles was really high, and the cluemaster did an amazing job releasing clues at just the right time to keep things exciting and interesting! What a thrilling experience!

This place is super cool! Amazing themes and puzzles! Great prices and awesome staff!! My group has been twice.. First we did the Wild West Bank Heist where you rob a bank by blowing up the safe with dynamite, shoot the Sheriff, and try to escape! So fun! The second time was the Jurassic Escape with dinosaurs trying to get in the room with you! I highly recommend this place!

What a great experience! We loved Thomas, our Game Master! He was so energetic and a joy to play with. We look forward to coming again and trying out all the other rooms

Great facility and amazing room. I did The Theatre room with my girlfriend and we ended up loving it. Cassie (I think that’s how you spell her name) was an amazing game master. We ended up getting out @ 40 min with 47 seconds, right under 20 min to spare. We loved it so much that we ended up booking on for The Submarine later on this week! Look out people because we’re dedicated to have the two best times this week for these rooms.

The two rooms were of great design however.... The flow for us seemed off as well. They were kind of all over the place it felt. The puzzles in one room seemed impossible without their guidance. Some just had no real indication of how or where to start. One lock was broken. Numbers and letters need to be touched up for visibility. The hints are to frequent but we normally ask for no hints so thats partly on us. It was if we had no time to reflect on a puzzle and would get bombarded with hints. Hope this helps some how.

My wife booked a group of us to do The Theater for my birthday. We did not know that it was going to be a marionette puppet theater! The room was well done, but the puppets were a bit more unnerving than we anticipated. I’m excited to go try another room, but thought others should know about the puppets!

I took the family to do the submarine and it was a blast. My 7 year old and 9 year old were able to play along and got super into it. Our game host Daniel was patient and very kind to us!

I actually loved it...its for sure something cool for the kiddos to do...maybe like ages 10 and up...little tough for my princess as she said..all in all, its pretty damn cool. For sure in a cool place in Fort Worth

We escaped the Theatre. The experience was very positive and enjoyable. The staff was kind and helpful.They provided unlimited tips (which a couple we really needed).The room was set up nicely with good sound effects.There were a couple glitches from previous individuals mishandling the props.Overall I highly recommend. Will be doing another room soon hopefully!

We did the submarine escape room and it was super fun!! We actually managed to escape this room. We had a couple minutes left. Its really fun to do with a group of friends or family.

Arranged this for a birthday party, and we had a blast. The scenery, the sound ambiance, and the engaging way of interacting with the clues and the room really made for an exciting experience. Our cluemaster was wonderful at reading us correctly in knowing when and when not to help us along and keep us out of trouble. I was really impressed with how structured they can keep the timing of it all. Definitely going to do this again.

Summed up: Staff rude. Clock tower room had broken parts.4 people equaled $137. Not worth the money. It could have been a much more fun experience. I feel that for that much money the staff should have been nice and helpful and everything should be working or a discount should be given. Will never go to the ft worth location again. Disappointing to say the least.

Had a brilliant game with Escape the Room in Fort Worth! Clever room, and a nice mix of brain teasers and physical puzzles to make it fun for everyone. Our game master Emily made it very enjoyable and helped us along without giving anything away. Highly recommended. Weve done the Bank Heist, and hope to try out the Clocktower next time!

Out of other escape rooms we’ve done this one was the most expensive. As soon as we walked in (early) the staff was rude almost pushy. They were not engaging or interesting.The room had broken props, & you could only complete one part of the clues @ a time.We ask them to validate our parking, and they gave us some excuse. For the money, paying for parking downtown, & faulted equipment it’s not worth it!

I went to the Dallas location years ago and had a great time with The Dig so I had to try out the fort worth location. This review is for the Jurassic Escape room, it was so disorganized. Thumbs up for the variety of different puzzles they had, but thumbs down for the flow. Things felt so half hazard, you would have to run back and forth between rooms to solve puzzles that felt so random. Sometimes there was no indication that a puzzle was solved but you had to move on. A couple puzzles you would never solve without their help, it wasnt intuitive. Our group of 8 felt frustrated even after we finished the room with 4 minutes left, it wasnt fun at all.

It was a great game but sadly some of the things didn’t work so we couldn’t get all the information to escape. The microscope wouldn’t work. One of the drawers didn’t come open when the others did so it was fun but we really didn’t have a chance to escape.

Had a great time with family members ranging from 80 to 10. Everyone was a novice except one and we all enjoyed trying to solve the Submarine puzzle!

We played the 7 p.m western bank heist and we had a blast. Our cluemaster Mia was so kind and knew when to help us out and we sure did need it. We have to come back

We had an awesome experience! We went for the latest time they had for the “Meltdown”. It was myself and my boyfriend, alone! We read many reviews before choosing which room to play and this one seemed to be the hardest. We beat it with almost 2 minutes to spare. It was difficult but so much fun. I highly recommend this escape room!!

Great set designs, puzzles need a little extra thinking sometimes, but hints are adequate! Celebrated my 100th room tonight, thanks!

My husband and I have done ALOT of escape rooms and have done 3 at this location. We won’t be going back to do any more here. The clock tower is a fun room and everything worked fine. The submarine was ok—there were parts that seem impossible without help and so many part of the room were not set up correctly and so we missed out on getting to solve parts which never seems fair when we you pay so much money for an experience. This last time we did the theater and hated it. We were 5 minutes late and they subtracted it from our time (we have NEVER had another business do this and I understand that they need to keep on schedule but 5 minutes...give me a break). The phone in the theater room is the most annoying puzzle I’ve ever had to solve in an escape room. There was one part of the room that didn’t work. So I think if a business is going to have such high expectations of you as a consumer they should live up to those same high expectations. One employee was badmouthing another as he walked us down the hallway. They just seem very unaccomadating compared to all the other escape rooms we have visited. It’s unfortunate bc the rooms themselves are very good for the most part if they were always set up correctly. So many better places to go in Fort Worth.**(in response to what the owner replied)--i had several complaints--only one of which was the start time. And like I said, you are the only company that has this policy that they enforce. So patrons are better off to visit another escape room that is more forgiving of 5-10 min. And like I said before, if you have a set standard for parties arriving on time, you should have a set standard for you rooms. Like if they arent set up correctly, we should get a partial refund. The grace given should go both ways, not just to you. And if anything it should be given to the customer who is paying top dollar for an experience.

Our second visit was great. We did the Jurassic Escape room. The production value was superb: rooms and props made it feel like you were in a movie. There was a good variety of puzzles; so many escape rooms rinse and repeat the find a number, open a combination lock, find another number formula, but this room had some very unique hints and puzzles. I am looking forward to doing the other rooms.The first time my group visited we did Meltdown and the experience was a little rough. The owner reached out to us and asked if my group wanted to come back to prove that this business wants all its customers to have a great experience. The act of reaching out demonstrated very attentive customer service and if the other rooms are as good as Jurassic Escape, we will definitely be going back. Just like Jurassic Escape, the set design for Meltdown was stellar. I still feel as though that room has some potential improvements regarding puzzles and how players progress but I understand what the designer was going for. Regardless, my entire group was happy we gave it another shot. It was well worth it.

It was amazing and they had games to play in the waiting area. Me and my team played the Old West room and it was challenging. We didn’t finish but we still had fun. The GameMaster was so chill and nice and helped us. I’d go back again

A very good escape room experience. The staff was very friendly, and the room was exceptionally detailed to immerse you into the setting. Some of the clues for solving puzzles felt a bit TOO vague, not really helping to connect the dots, but it was still a fun experience.

Me and my 3 sisters came here for our girls day! We were all first timers! We were so close but didn’t make it out :( we had such a good time though. Def recommend the bank heist!

We had a blast!! Never gone to an escape room before so we did the Bank Heist. Not too hard, just enough to be enjoyable. We tied the weekly record! Great for family or just a group of friends. Our gamesmaster did an awesome job with hints when we got stuck!

Your experience depends on the room and the staff! On Tuesday, my husband, daughter (12) and I did the Clock Tower. Between the 3 of us, we’ve done at least 8 escape rooms in different places. The Clock Tower was hard, and I was honestly surprised we made it out. Our game keeper was very generous with the hints, which helped kept up the fun. The puzzles and the effects were good though! So much so, that when we found ourselves looking for something to do today (Sunday), we booked another room: Jurassic Escape. Admittedly, we were running late and arrived 10 minutes after we were scheduled to start. I didn’t realize the extent to which this was going to be an issue. On the Tuesday, we had waited for 45 minutes (the 30 minutes that they ask you to arrive before the game, plus 15 minutes because our room was already occupied). We were allowed to start our game this afternoon, but the timer was already 7 minutes down, and we were kept waiting in the lobby. Our game keeper forgot to tell us the story, and wouldn’t stop the clock to give us the details. The game itself felt illogical, and not smooth. There seemed no link between the puzzles. The incubator didn’t work; the buttons to switch the light directions did not do so. There were no instructions for the DNA test machine. I don’t know how we were supposed to work out that the machine needed a live specimen first. We’re told not to use brute force on anything, but then should push through the vent to the other side. The lights went off in the second room, but we weren’t done in there. Why not give us a flashlight? The game keeper was not generous with her clues and left us hanging for a frustrating amount of time. Extremely disappointed the second time around. These are EXPENSIVE games. We won’t return.

It was a lot of fun. A group of us did the submarine escape room. There were 3 adults and 3 teenagers it wasn’t to easy nor to complicated. Definitely will do it again.

Really impressed with the quality! I had heard some horror stories about escape rooms being thrown together hastily, but definitely not the case here. Clean place, challenging rooms, and a helpful staff. Hard to beat that.

Im an experienced escape room solver and I would absolutely say that Escape the Room Fort Worth is one of the best Ive been to. Recommended to anyone looking for a high-quality escape room experience, the production values were very high and the room that we did had some very unique and cool puzzles that I havent seen before. Arden was a great clue-giver and game runner for our group. I look forward to being able to try more of their rooms the next time we visit Texas!

Just did the Western Bank heist and our group had a blast! The puzzles were well thought out and we were impressed with the details of the room. We escaped with 4 minutes to spare! Can’t wait to go back and try another one.

The escape room was fun, clever, and over all amazing. The game master was helpful. However its not mentioned that they start your time if youre late. With the building being difficult to find with all the downtown construction you think they would take that under consideration.

This was our first time. We got a gift card for Christmas. It was a blast. Challenging and mysterious and all-around fun. As a couple or a group I highly recommend. I’ll be back. We did the clock tower.

Very cool. It was very fun. I did the submarine and it was the hardest. But it is on the expensive side but its doable.

We took a party of 7 into the Theater it had some challenges. Didnt make it out in time got the last clue when time ran out.

Kinda disappointed. I’ve done 3 escape rooms at this location. Jurassic Park was the most expensive and I was very excited for it. Several of the clues were broken/malfunctioned. The operator had to just give us answers that the clues were supposed to provide. Then they emailed all of us someone else’s picture so we don’t have our photo. Pretty bummed.

My family and i had so much fun! We really had to put our thinking caps on! When i visit Texas again well be back to do the Western Bank Heist!

Like this place something to get your mind thinking and interact with a team. Would be great for company team building.

Be aware that they will tell you last minute. You must pay for the entire block so if you just have a party of 4 you have to pay for 4 more to get the entire block. Not aware of this. Sometimes it may work out but there are people who do multiple escape rooms and spoil the experience. Something to think about. Im pretty sure other Escape Rooms will work with you. Also no rescheduling and no refunds.

It’s my first escape room but it was so cool I want to do all of them

This was our first escape room and it was a ton of fun. The room had a lot of cool features and the puzzles were challenging, but not impossible. The only negative we had during the experience was that our group of 4 was matched up with another group of 4. All members of their group had done multiple escape rooms in the past. They solved 3 or 4 of the puzzles without us even knowing they were working on something. We were just kind along for the ride as we were getting our bearings the first 20 min or so. It took a little fun out of it. If you’re looking to do the room with just your group, then you should splurge and pay for the whole room, otherwise you may get a group combined with yours. It wasn’t the venue’s fault, but it’s something to consider when you’re planning.

The rooms were extremely fun. Definitely recommend to give it a try!
