Ive always liked this park, ever since I was a little girl. I just believe that they need to limit to 12 and under, because on some of the picnic areas, there are inappropriate drawings. Other than that, it is a great place for children. Also, beside the playground there is a small creek. It is great for taking pictures.

This is the 1st time Ive been back to this park in 20 years. I was very happy to see the renovations they have made. Very nice with nice equipment for the kids and parents to be able to interact together. Nice pavilions, updated. Bathrooms were clean. Garbage wasnt over flowing. We cant wait to come back.

So nice now that its been redone. A nice long ramp with all kinds of things to play with along it for the handicapped and younger toddlers. Multiple types of swings. Parent and baby tandem swings, the big plastic swings with the safety bar things that come down, regular swings, and round platform swings. And so many other fun things. Add in all the covered pavilions surrounding the playground for birthdays or picnics and its awesomeness is obvious.

Extremely nice, brand new playground. My kids love it. Only complaint would be there is a lot of mud surrounding the playground (they have at least covered it in hay now) but even this is understandable because the playground and area was wrecked from the tornado.

Am
Review №14

So glad theyve re-opened. The playground and equipment is pretty awesome. The equipment itself is very sturdy, and I felt my Littles were safe playing on all of it. It does have a lot of dried mud all over anything shoes touch. Expect to possibly get dirty, especially if its rained recently. There is a LOT of mud surrounding the area to get to the playground pad. There is a small area you can go through that isnt as muddy, but you can only see it if youre parked in front of it, or once youve already went through the other mud. If youre prepared for it, or dont sweat the small stuff, its totally worth it. Seems like theyve got something for all ages of kids. Small and big..... We will be going several times a week Im sure.

I guess the storms did a number on all the trees but they took out all the cool slides and play ground equipment and replaced with a much smaller scale BORING play set. I guess the city didnt want to spend money on the communitys greenspace. What a shame, this park is no where near as cool as it once was.

At the right times, it is a great little park to walk and/or run. Weekends and evenings are best for those with playground age kids. Pretty good place to picnic as well. Rules have changed re:pets though. Pets are no longer allowed in the park at all (excepting only service animals).

This park has everything. Big playground, picnic tables, pavilions, pool, nice fields, beauty creek. Its clean, including bathrooms.I wish kids were more informed on erosion, as the creek is suffering and I watched kids exacerbate the problem as they stabbed the creek edge with sticks to watch the dirt avalanche into the creek! Creek preservation signage may be in order....

I used to really love this park and I still go here to eat a fast food lunch with my daughter. It has a stream running through the park and a public pool. It has walking trails and it is now re- doing a playground. There are picnic tables there. My gripe is ,that they cut down beautiful trees beside the stream,,that provided shade as well as homes for squirrels and various birds. Cutting down those pretty tress ruined this parks ambiance. I cannot even imagine who made such an idiotic decision! Had they not done that, they would have gotten 5 stars, like I used to rate it.

Beautiful well-laid out park that takes advantage of the natural landscape. Walking trails, bridges, stream make it a comfortable place to take in the surroundings while you exercise. I feel safe there. There is also a pool if you should want to participate in that way. The pavilion is clean and well maintained being perfect for gatherings.

My 11yr old son loves playing in the creek, making new friends to catch tadpoles & crawfish with, and then hitting the massive all ages playground! It gives me a chance to get my little pooch out of the house when its nice out, and chat it up with amazing new people as well, because everyone is always so friendly! Our families favorite park for birthday cookouts too!

Nice park great for smaller children to adolescents with a large walking path that goes around the playground so keeping an eye on the little ones is easy. Plus a extended path that leads to nice chill spots or fields for fun.I have attended and hosted many get togethers for many occasions with smaller and larger pavilions for any party size. Just like the park the bathrooms are clean and its conviently located near many businesses. Great park!!
