No rain in three weeks and the place is still a mud puddle I love the layout but the course itself if you cant hit it 280 yards you cant play there

Greens were fabulous. Facility is very nice. Staff very friendly and great value in summer time.

Staff very rude-failed to inform us of muddy course condition, failed to tell us they were starting on the back, failed to tell us of the ongoing course maintenance, failed to tell us that one of the holes was changed to a par 3 due to closed muddied fairway.When we confronted them @ turn they claimed they told us—there were 4 of us & none of us were given any information. The rudeness of the staff was unacceptable-no apologies & he was argumentative.We will NEVER return to this facility! This course needs to be closed until conditions are conducive for play and when they train their staff to learn proper customer service.

Good track, might need some care on fairways, tee boxes

Just played Eagle Ridge on 8-3-2020. The course was in great shape, nice and dry for this time of the year. Got closest to a hole in one ever, 2.5 from the pin on the par 3 #5!

Decent course and good layout. Water on 16 holes. But, I didnt lose a ball. You have to hit it fairly offline to lose one. Pace of play was slow.

The layout is fine,and the clubhouse has food and drinks ,but this place is really soggy, you have to clean grass clippings off your ball after every shot.

Nice community with a sub par golf course. The drainage is terrible. We have been at other nearby courses and not nearly as wet. Somewhat like playing in a swamp! Friendly and efficient personnel though.

With all the rain its underwater you think they save you a few bucks charge you full price every hole is buried in water place should have been closed.

Our go to local course, especially for guys weekend in late May. Reasonable fees. Good carts. Course conditions are usually very good despite heavy rain. Friendly people.

Not bad for the price.. but be careful with forgetting your belongings in the cart.. they will keep and you will not get it back. DOUBLE CHECK FOR YOUR PROPERTY...!!!

Paid $100 and not worth $20. No driving range, pay for balls and hit into a needed area the size of a kitchen.Fairway grass would be called creeping rough. The tee boxes were the size of a kitchen table without any level ground or a blade of grass.Too many great courses in the area to waste time and money.PeteCanton Ohio

Great place to golf when others are charging $75+ you can still golf a good course for under $50.

Fun course with friendly staff!

Honestly never felt more rushed by a ranger. He was extremely rude and disrespectful as he yelled at us to speed up while playing (we had to wait on the group in front of us on every tee). After we finished our round, he said “you should be able to play this course in 3 1/2 hours standing on your head.” This is not the first time we have been treated poorly here. Find somewhere else to play the great game.

Fine course a bit challenging though

The fairways and greens are in great condition. They did an excellent job cleaning up after hurricane Irma. The staff at Eagle Ridge is fantastic. Great course for your money.

Great course, this is one of nicest courses I have played on. The course is challenging with good distances, well placed bunkers and every-hole except the first one has a water hazard or two that generally run the length of the hole. The Staff was extremely friendly and serviceable. I thought this would be a private course due to its quality, but it is not, so it is perfect for being on vacation.

This was the most unpleasant golf experience my friend and I ever had. Our tee time was 4pm (Sunset was scheduled at 7:45). There was almost nobody playing, one single player passed us, nobody else in front or behind us. At 5:30 pm the Ranger came for the first time saying You guys are behind. Its going to get late. Again, it was 5:30!! When we arrived at hole 13, still another our to sunset, he started to follow us around. Every time we moved a little he moved a little. Always in range to see and hear everything. Naturally, we started not doing practice swings, missing puts etc. He just wanted us to leave so he can go home. We finally called it quits as this was no fun at all and we didnt feel welcome. Wish I could get my money back! Horrible customer service, horrible etiquette, just rude!

Nice course to play

I dont ever write reviews but Ive played here 3 times and the experience is worse everytime. The staff is more worried about running you off the course 30 minutes before they even close rather than keeping up pace of play. I will never come back and neither should you.

Have golfed here on each trip to Florida in February over the past 4 years. Have tried other course,but for the Fort Myers area, this is certainly the best value. Friendly staff, well maintained greens with enough variety to keep you engaged straight through the 18th hole! Its also a rare find to have shade while you wait to tee off, along with pleasant views of wildlife. Certainly will be back!

In good shape greens fast,bring extra balls

When checking in I was virtually ignored by staff and had to hurry to get to my tee time. Then the starter on the first tee was rude to all of us insisting it was our fault for being late. After playing the first hole we found that the greens had been sanded and were not in ideal condition. We were not told this when checking in, nor given a discount for the conditions of the course. When paying this much to play a course, I would expect better conditions and better treatment.

Very tight fairways and definitely a challenge, especially with any kind of prevailing wind.

I am a beginner, I have played 5 courses in Fort Myers and Eagle Ridge seemed forgiving, and was a TON of FUN. Just had my first Lesson with their Golf Pro, Brad! Brad is down to earth, able to connect the dots for me. He is able to relate my past athletics to how I would approach Golf. Who knew Basketball, Football and Golf had anything in common....they do. Since Brad was able to relate it to those sports it made it a lot easier lesson and more fun for me. I actually hit the ball straight more than 3 times in a row...YEAH. GOING straight is a good start for this fan of slices! Thanks Brad, I look forward to our next lessons!

Nice course and fast greens. Lots of water, 17 of the 18 holes.

Average (at best) public course at an above average rate.Too many areas are boggy and full of ruts. It hasnt rained here in at least a week and it still feels like its soggy everywhere. Recommend only as last resort.

Not a bad layout. Staff was great.

The course is in nice shape but it seems a bit pricey for now with other courses in the same conditions offering better prices. I hear they will be raising the rates significantly after the new year!!!

Very decent public course at a good rate.

Played on Saturday morning. Never had to wait to tee off or hit a shot,and never felt pushed by group behind us. Lots of water.

Eagle Ridge has always been one of my favorite courses to play in SWFL. It can be challenging, but it fun at the same time.

My brother-in-law and I played it for the first time(apr12,2016). Enjoyed the course although it was quite challenging(lots of water hazards). Good shape and found the greens to be quite quick and hard to guage the speed. Very scenic though but probably more suitable to the lower handicap golfers. Price was very reasonable.

Very unhappy with the course, everything about the place is DATED, arrived 1 hour early to learn they have no range and it was downhill from there. The staff is good but conditions SUCK....bare spots all over course,greens fuzzy,tees overgrown, cart paths like an off road course, To pay $80.00 anytime of year is way too much for this experience.DOGTRACK!!!!!!!!

7:45 starting time today. I was a single golfer and they had opportunities to pair me up with other players, but inexplicably, they had me go off alone. Waiting on every shot for groups in front of me. First time in 30 years of golfing that I walked off the course during the round!!! Not a fun experience. Will not be returning here again.
