We were hired by our client to provide our DJ services for their wedding at this establishment. I have to say that the experience was phenomenal. Very organized and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I mainly dealt with Brook who was absolutely fantastic and a pleasure to work with. I had a setup in the area where they host their ceremonies. The weather was getting pretty questionable so I kindly asked to borrow a golf cart in case I had to move my equipment fast and prevent damage. She didn’t hesitate to fulfill my request and thankfully, no equipment was damaged because of the rain. I was able to transport it inside. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for a great job done. As a vendor that doesn’t work at this venue much, I felt very welcomed at all times.

Great place to play! Old Orange was nice, but prefer Whispering Oak a little more. Especially since they have made some changes. A couple of amazing par 5 holes! Fairways are wide, but both courses challenge you to be accurate with distance. Not the cheapest place to play, but worth the experience. I personally would play there more often if they gave Florida residents a better price during the off-season. Friendly staff and nice “free” practice facility to use prior to your round.

Nephews wedding outdoors, reception indoors. The entire property was perfectly manicured and maintained. Service was outstanding, food was impeccable both in presentation and in taste. The experience was flawless!

What a gorgeous layout! Greens were in great shape and there was water on just about every hole.

Wonderful Friday night dinner for 2.Asian styled ribs with a savory sauce, jicama slaw and miso mac and cheese, and pops had the filet mignon with mushroom, brandy and mustard sauce, asparagus and carrot slices with mashed potatoes side. All complemented with a nice Cabernet Wine. Yum, yum, yum.And props as always to the chef and Angela our server.

Unbelievable what a fantastic place and the staff is awesome

Such an amazingly beautiful setting for a wedding! Brooke is the wedding/event planner and she is awesome! The ceremony was under a canopy of oak trees and the Reception was in the clubhouse which is beautiful with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river with a Boardwalk just outside the doors. Food was delicious!

No stars here. Club says they dont sell gift certificates for green fees. I have a brother in-law that just moved down from Maryland and I wanted to give him a good gift. I will have to find another club that will provide a gift certificate.

Great Sunday brunch !! Omelets made to order were terrific. Nice thick cut bacon and sausage on the side. Great selection of breads and fresh fruit. Waffle bar with many toppings -- whipped cream and caramel and chocolate syrup was a great way to end the meal with a sweet finish!

Pretty nice place. Attended a wedding and reception. Everything thing is top notch. No shortcuts here. Pretty big golf community.

Always a great place to practice and play a round. Two 18 hole courses are in great shape. Theyve planted 100s of new trees since the hurricane and the place looks good. Staff are friendly. Fitness center. Clay tennis courts. Kayaks to borrow. Lots of fun at Verandah.

This place is amazing. Had my wedding there this past weekend and all I heard from people was how absolutely wonderful the wedding was. There is no better staff that could be working for you during your special event. Brooke was amazing, she was on top of everything and made sure the wedding went off with out a hitch. I highly recommend this place for your wedding, and ask for brooke when you do. Thank you again for everything

Absolutey loved this golf course and I wish I could find one like that in my area. I would never play a different golf course in the Fort Myers after playing this challenging and beautiful course. May have been the best golf course I ever played honestly.

Played a round with my brother for his birthday. Very nice course, wide fareways and good size greens. The breaks and speed seemed to vary from hole to hole, very challenging. We rented a wonderful home for 3 months (Feb to Apr 2018) and enjoyed the community (people, amenities, golf courses, etc.) immensely. Well be back again this winter for 3 months and look forward to connecting with all of our friends and acquaintances we made the past winter season. Theres plenty to do and enjoy (golf -2 championship courses), tennis, kayaking, bike riding, walking, swimming (pool), fitness, etc) at Verandah!

Played Whispering Oaks, very fair course, generous fairways and large underlating greens.

There r two courses Old Orange/Whispering Oaks. I played Old Orange and it was in great shape and the greens rolled very true and the bunkers were very nice. The tee boxes were very nice as well. Will be back to play Whispering Oaks next time.

Played the Whispering Oaks course. The course was in great condition and the greens were undulating and challenging. The layout was fair to the average golfer. The pro shop was small but the staff was very friendly. It was a semi-private location and it offered resort style amenities.

We had our senior banquet here. Top shelf; beautiful spot.

Went for dinner at river house food was good staff very friendly. Security at the front gate gave us good directions and were helpful

Be Very Careful Leaving this Community! The exit onto Palm Beach Blvd. is very dangerous, especially in season. Six lanes of traffic going 60+ mph. Im not sure if anyone has been killed yet, but there have been numerous accidents and it will only get worse. Surprised a traffic light has not been installed yet. Great community other than this safety issue.

Very nice. Gorgeous homes from any size and price range. Safe community. I enjoy kayaking and biking around the neighborhood. Would recommend.

The dining rooms food is fantastic! The cook there does a wonderful job with fresh, flavorful food. I love whatever he does with the Salmon.

Make sure you get Bobby as a server and youll have one of your favorite lunches! Food is always excellent but Bobby puts it over the top!

The River House restaurant and full service bar are in a lovely country club setting on the Orange River with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Beautiful course but only second to Waterlefe which has played yesterday. Both are tough water courses. Loved it.

Clean, safe, lots of parking, must pass guard gate to even get to club, bag drop, food and drink,very quite, no real noise
