Beautiful course. Impressive conditions & amenities (great food in the restaurant). However, the foursome of members behind us pushed us continually and called the rangers to reprimand us twice even though we were on pace. We finished 9 holes in 2 hrs and18 holes in less than 4 hrs. These club members should be ashamed of themselves and course mgmt. should defend guests who are playing on pace. Members who harass guests should be reprimanded for depreciating the value of club membership. Who wants to invest in a club membership where your fellow members push their weight around to belittle staff and intimidate guests? The Plantation has a very nice golf course but has a disappointing golf club. There are too many other country clubs in SWFL that have a nice golf course as well as polite, gracious members. We will not return to The Plantation.

Enjoyed our first Thanksgiving at The Plantation Golf and Country Club today. Great venue, food and friends. Think we will enjoy our Membership here.

Nice conditions and layout. Seems quite spread out. Certainly wouldnt want to walk it. Nice elec carts. Staff friendly. Country club feel. Pace of play under 4 hrs. Range to warm up before round as well. I will be back.

I want to clarify that The Plantation Staff and course are topnotch. The range, facilities and restaurant are all A+.*However* In 40+ years of golfing, Ive never encountered members that are not only classless with no etiquette, but also have no game. I personally feel bad for the staff that has to deal with these clowns.

I was a guest of a member of the Plantation last Saturday, March 18th, and enjoyed the day. When I prepared to play the next day at my club, I realized that I had left my $350 range finder in the cart at the Plantation. A call to my friend and search of the club turned nothing up. Either the bag boys or the cart boys have stolen my range finder. My name, Alan LaRochelle, was imprinted on it. Golf used to be a sport of honor.

The course was in great shape. The green were consistent and rolled very true. It is an enjoyable course to play.

Ive played many golf courses in southwest Florida. None better than the plantation.

Plantation was the perfect place for our daughters wedding. The grounds and facility were immaculate and Angi could not have been more helpful. The staff was great and everyone thought the food was delicious. Our families from Michigan and Iowa had a wonderful time. Marianne was extremely helpful in choosing the ceremony wording and gave our daughter stained glass wedding bells to commemorate their wedding date. We would highly recommend Plantation for anyones wedding and reception.

Food was good, drinks were good, service was excellent and music was hard to hear.
