We went on Salty Sam’s “all age” pirate cruise with our 4 year old son, we all had a blast! Pick Pocket Pete and his mermaid 1st mate were awesome! They took the time to learn each kids name and provided great entertainment for the kids and adults. I don’t leave Google reviews but I felt the need to write this one based on our experience! I can’t recommend this highly enough!

We went for our anniversary on the dolphin cruise (2 hours) and we had so much fun!! Skyler was great behind the bar, 2 for 1 while docked. Captain teddy was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions! We saw dolphins, tons of birds, and even a few manta rays! Definitely will be coming back for another tour.

Fun hour and a half activity for the kids. Well worth the cost. Hosts are energetic and try to keep every kid engaged.

Very interactive with the kids while keeping the adults entertained at the same time. The actors were fantastic, seemed to enjoy themselves as much as we did. They went out of their way to make sure everyone was involved.

We had friends in town and decided to give the adult cruise a try. We had a blast! The cruise was really fun and the entertainment was top notch. In addition, the night time views of the FMB skyline were incredible. We have added the cruise to our must do list everytime we have friends and family in town. Do it! You wont be disappointed!

Our family really enjoyed the show. The actors were amazing. We really enjoyed talking to the captain of the boat and sailing around the gulf. Our kids loved the show and collecting gold, gems and necklaces. The cannon explosion is great. Full bar on deck and a great bar tender. Excellent family adventure.

This was our familys third trip on the pirate cruise. They were AMAZING as always. Even with covid restrictions, they put on a great show. It was so incredible to let the kids have the experience of a little fun again. Everyone was friendly, fun and caring. The kids had the time of their lives. Money is tight for us, but we never feel like it is wasted to spend it on this when we visit Florida.

This was a very fun activity for all ages! The crew is hysterical, very interactive, games for the kids and jokes for the adults to enjoy also. One of the crew draws tattoos on kids and adults. There is a bar on board with alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks. It was a relaxing, fun 90 min ride out to the gulf and back. There are two great restaurants located at the dock if you want to have lunch before or dinner after the cruise.

The Pirate Ship is one the best attractions on FMB! We did the Friday night adult cruise for my birthday this year, and they made it a super fun and memorable event. The boat is clean and spacious with upper and lower decks, so theres plenty of room to spread out. The pirates are funny and engaging. They really make the experience authentic and bring the boat to life! I will definitely be bringing my son on the kids cruise soon!

This was a wonderful way to spend 4th. of July. The show was awesome and the interaction with the kids was fantastic. I give it 10 stars!

90 minutes of nonstop action for children. The actors do a great job keeping all kids engaged. A BIG HIT!!

My husband and I took our two little guys (ages 11 months and 3 years) on Salty Sams Pirate Cruise in early June. We had a great time and the cruise was exactly as expected. Our three year old was more apprehensive than I expected but the cast members went out of their way to make him comfortable. He didnt really warm up during the cruise but keeps talking about it now so I know he will have great memories.The cruise is 1.5 hours which is the perfect amount of time for little kids.Thanks for the great time and great memories!

Great plan for families, specially those with kids. The captain knew exactly where the Dolphins were so it was totally worth it.Given the CDC guidelines the boat is running at half capacity which allows for plenty of space to see the dolphins and move around to to follow them. Good cocktails onboard too !

My Son, 3 teen age granddaughters took the 7:30-9 cruise. The pirate and mermaid were full of fun and energy. They made it fur for all. The 3 girls admitted after the cruise it was much more fun than they thought it would. I look forward to taking the cruise again with other family members. We made some great memories. The crew was amazing. Most guests were practicing social distancing, all crew were wearing masks and the ship was clean. We had so much fun and will return. Our only complaint would be smoking. Such a shame that people can’t go 90 minutes without smoking 20 cigarettes and ruining the air for the rest of us.

Fun for kids drinks for adults. Kept the kids entertained the whole time. It was a lot of fun. If you are coming during season plan to be in beach traffic.

This was a decent pirate cruise. We went in July so it was really hot and my kids werent too into it, but some of the other kids on the boat seemed to really enjoy it.It was fun to try out and the staff / actors were pretty good, but we wouldnt do it again.

This was my kids favorite part of our week long trip to Sanibel Island. The actors get everyone involved. The only part I didnt quite like was that they made some jokes that were a little inappropriate but probably went over the kids heads.

The staff was very friendly and fun to be with and the cruise was alot of fun. We will definantly be back.

We just did the Pirate all ages sunset Cruise with family and friends. The kids had a great time and us adults enjoyed some of the humor that went over the little ones heads. The cruise exceeded all expectations and we look forward to enjoying more trips on the Pieces of 8 ship.

My husband, his aunt, and I took the Dolphins and Wildlife sightseeing cruise on Friday 11/29. From the moment we embarked, the crew was warm and gracious. The cruise was so relaxing and the mimosas were excellent! I highly recommend this fun and relaxing mini cruise!

Perfect for our kids. We went on the sunset kids cruise. The staff was super friendly and entertaining. Our kids absolutely loved it. They even wore their pirate stuff for 3 days after and continued to play pirates.

Got a ticket from Groupon, definitely worth it!Had a great experience. Saw a mannatee and plenty of dolphins. The captain floated around and stayed in the area of the dolphins for at least 30 minutes. Got to take videos and lots of pictures. Saw the dolphins catch fish, and they came right up to the boat and posed for pictures. The captain very knowledgable about the waters, birds, dolphins. We had a GREAT TIME! definitely will be back for another trip.

We had the best time on the pirate cruise with my kids, aged 4 and 5. The pirates were very engaging with the kids, fun for the adults, and made it a great experience.

Fun, fun, fun! This cruise is the best family outing you could ever ask for. Being out on the water and having a good time at any age, Id say dont pass it up! The crew is lively, the games and jokes keep you smiling, and kids have a ball! A wonderful pirate lady Tesla, did a super job painting tatoos, teaching pirate lore, and keeping the interest of a captive young audience. We are going a third time when out of town guests arrive!

If you are looking for a great outing with the kids THIS is what you need to do... the family friendly one. I took my 2 nanny boys (3 & 5) and my son (13months) and we all had a blast! Treasure, Pirates, story time and dancing. The crew is great.I wouldnt reccomend bringing a stroller (oops) but that was my own fault but it didnt say I couldnt. Again, best 90 mins spent on our trip

This was an amazing time for our family. We got our money and then some! Mind you we have 3 girls 6, 8 and 11. They got SOOO into the songs, the garb, the stories and loved the pirates they met along the way. Our captain stopped and chatted with us before the show and gave us some real history into the pirate life and offered to let the girls come up and stand at the helm! Once we got going they ran up and got some pictures we will treasure for a lifetime. Pick pocket Pete was absolutely enchanting and made sure our little girls had a great time. All of the pirates we met were wonderful. The jokes made the kids laugh and there were a few in there for the parents too lol. I would recommend this to anyone in the area. And if the salty Sams company ever reads this please let pick pocket pete our girls adored him and thank you!!!

We have been on many different pirate cruises. For little kids...this is the best. They made my son feel like he was part of the crew.

We really really love this tour!!! It was so much fun and interactive. We brought our 3 children for an afternoon...2, 11 and 13 and everyone had a great time. Soooo worth going for any event or just to go for something family friendly. They have a cute gift shop and yummy resturant too! Check it out! You wont be disappointed

The family pirate cruise was really well done, and fun for all ages! It is a highly interactive show - not scary at all. The cast a great job of making sure every child has a chance to participate. This is a must do, especially if you have children!

A Fort Myers Beach landmark, who couldnt love a pirate cruise? With an exciting show and friendly staff, it is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon on the water. I recommend everyone experiences it at least once.

We went on the family pirate cruise at sunset. My son had an absolute blast. Loved every minute of it. It really is for kids, its entertaining just watching your kid have a great time :) it doesnt go far out into the gulf, and 90 minutes is the perfect amount of time for kids

A unique experience and definitely made memories here with our kids.They keep the kids busy the whole time with games and pirate stuff- treasures, cannons, pirate maps, etc.They have a bar for the adults and we saw dolphins from the boat.Going in July is sweltering. Better to go at a cooler time of year.They shoot off pretend cannons at a “sea monster” and if you have a highly sensitive child, this would potentially be scary for them. Just a heads up... maybe prepare them that there will be 2-3 big loud bangs (a recording over the speakers) and the pirate “shoots” a “sea monster.”

Perfect way to make a lasting memory for the kids. Staff was great and did everything they could to involve all the kids in their pirate adventure. With a 5 and 7 year old, we were laughing nonstop for the trip. Have a drink and watch the wonder in their eyes. Worth every second!

This was great! They kept us busy with activity after activity. We didnt even have time to see our surroundings, but it didnt matter. As we walked off my 3 yr old said mommy that was soooo fun! She hung in there with the big kids.

A great experience. They have a fun story to engage the kids and its very interactive. They dance, they teach sword fighting, they battle a kraken, they search for treasure. Adults are encouraged to join in the fun or you can relax, enjoy the sun and salt air with a drink. Fun times!

I took my sister on the adult cruise for her 21st birthday as a surprise. I was under the impression that adult meant dancing and drinking (per their website). The interactive act incorporated the most awful and lewd script - I was completely embarrassed and disgusted. There was nowhere we could go to escape it. They even wanted tips at the end and called it ART! We couldnt wait to get off the boat the moment it started. Also, they spin the boat around several times, too, which is neither funny nor enjoyable. Theres apparently an audience for the adult cruise that I cant appreciate. But, I would have loved to know how crass it was before I wasted my $56. I will never be back.

We are in our mid 30’s and did the adult cruise. We felt a little out of place thinking it should be called “senior cruise” rather then 21+ Cruise. Expected better costumes for employees. Not worth the money for us.

Fun and entertaining!

Salty Sams will forever be part of my sons memories of his youth, with his dad! The characters are all amazing, and so gentle with the little land lubbers. Each time better than the last, not quite as good as the next!

My son was pretty freaked out. First time on a boat!! Crew made him feel better and let him put on a life vest to help him calm down. He ended up taking it off 1/2 way through! They were really friendly and the show was cool. Bring cash so that you can tip after!! If you dont the kraken might find you.

We did the adult Cruise it was lots of fun. Kind of depends on the other Sailors at the time as far as how much fun you have. Good group of people reasonably priced drinks Out on the Ocean a good time was had by all.

We go for the holiday parade each year. Always a good time. The cast is great.
