Great place to find your serenity night or day. Very peaceful and clean. Everyone seemed to maintain distance from each other.

Very good. Caught multiple yellowtail snapper and a lot of people were catching more odd fish like pufferfish and sharks, but these of course were tossed back. Overall good pier to fish on.

Great place. Have been going there for years with the family during the Christmas holidays and summer vacation. Always beautiful and lots to do.

Always a fun time fishing on the pier! Plenty of room for multiple people and lights for fishing at night.

One of the more tourist-y parts of the beach, the pier is a great place to view a sunset, photograph ospreys and pelicans, and take in the enormity of the beach in either direction. There’s also a good photo opportunity beneath the pier where it connects to the beach. It’s pretty light on crowds during the weekdays, and parking is limited. With it being so hot in the summer months, parking offsite and walking to the pier may be an issue for some people. It’s also not dog-friendly.

Excellent view of the Gulf, saw a guy catch a shark while there and watched pelicans dive for fish. Very fun experience for our kids

Awesome spot. Shops are a little expensive but some are just right. Got a shirt and hat for under 22 bucks. Just look around and you will find something you like. Brown pelicans will come close to you so watch out if you dont like birds.

Loved visiting Fort Myers Beach and walking on the pier. Beautiful place. Wish I lived there!

Enjoy fishing off the pier, never know what you are going to catch (or not). Lots of nice people.

I have enjoyed walking down the Fort Myers Beach pier since I was a kid with my dad and now I am grown with kids of my own that I love to take down to see whats going on at the end of the pier usually people fishing and catching things so theres always something to see. We also love to visit the little gift shop that is on the pier always something interesting to check out, great views and beautiful sunsets.

Me and my girlfriend had a great time here I would recommend it for family to thanks Fort Myers Beach! :-)

Beautiful walk out on the pier, unfortunately red tide was here so no swimming (November)Was lucky enough to snap some shots of dolphins playing.Its set up so you can sit and watch the sun rise or fall, both gorgeous here, or just relax.

Also a place to visit while at Ft Myers Beach especially at sunrise or mainly sunset. Best seat in the house during sunset. Not to bad for shelling either during low tide peroids...just make sure theres not a resident in your shells could possibly get you in trouble you dont need. All the sea creatures below were placed back into the water unharmed.

The best Pier in SWFL. Fish are so big they have a license to swim. Love it.

I like Shark Fishing, but u cant shark fish where people swim. Good place to catch Flounder!

Pier is a great walk, so is the beach. Speed boat races were on for Oct 10_12, good show. Not too many people in the water due to red tide tho. Quite a number of dead fish.

Well no much to say about when the photos speak for themselves. This pier is made of concrete, it has a shop where you can bay bait, beverages, post card and much more.At the end there is a platform which part of it is under a roof, helps a lot when it is really hot.Fishermen and tourists share this space with care and stories.Nice pictures can be taken from it. Any direction your camera looks, there is something to remember.Some other piers hire a person to charge at the entrance. Honestly I DO NOT understand that.Ft myers pier is FREE. Enjoy it!!

Beach side ft myers pierTake stroll down on the square lots of shops and restaurants and fishing pier. Playground for children. It’s a great place to watch boats and jet skiers and birds. Might even see a fish being caught. Try some yummy fudge on the square.

I love this area! Shops, food, beach ... perfect! Parking is $2 per hour, get there early to get a spot. Enjoy!!

I love this place. Everytime we are in the area we stop here. Sunsets here are amazing.

As a fishing pier this is a pretty small pier. It is a bit on the narrow side. Very functional but uninteresting overall.

We had an amazing time with our boys fishing for hours! We caught whitings, hammerheads, bonnet heads, catfish, strippers! The pier shop was great price for renting fishing rods and bait! Shrimp was the best bait!

Gorgeous area and lots of live music and food. Fun place to hang with the family.

Beautiful pier to catch some views of Fort Myers beach. Fishing is garbage here just a heads up for all the anglers, you will be lucky to catch a catfish here

Great views. Fun to talk to the local fisherman ( 6ft away with masks) about what they were catching.

Great layout, however, not much species to catch other than catfish and croakers.

Went to the beach in this area. It is very crowded right next to the pier. Down the way a little bit it nearly a private beach! We sat down and had no one near us for 35+ feet. You can literally hear all the waves crashing and the sounds of the beach without having to listen to kids and 12 other peoples music blaring. I would come again!

We love coming here every so often to walk around and enjoy the scenery. Since I am from Miami, the fort Myers beach is not one of the best but it is still a great beach. You can fish on the pier and dont even have to bring your equipment, they allow you to rent the equipment on the pier.

The pier appeared to be in the midst of repair or renovation given the yellow taped-off areas. Despite strict rules about not feeding the wildlife, the birds seemed too comfortable around people so theres not much enforcement. The little shop was cute and had a few fun souvenirs.

Beach Cleanup was just perfect with over 71 volunteers join with Ocean Blue Project!

I loved it here, but was followed by a couple of (what i felt) shady characters.. I was a little nervous, so just be careful.. But a beautiful pier to visit.. that only happened once, I have been back several times since..

Every time we go to Times square we have to go out on the pier especially to see the sunsets there is always some fishermen out at the end trying their luck the pier has a great little gift shop were they sell bait and rent fishing poles no license needed for anyone when they fish on the pier.

Always breath-taking... especially the sunset!

This place was good. The beach is made of wonderful white sand, however, during the red tide the water does get pretty dyed. Hopefully you are lucky to not be there during the red tide! Anyways, the place offers a fishing pier which is stocked with fish, if you know how to catch em! There is also a bait store to buy from before fishing. Overall this is a great place to visit!

Great beach and lots of birds

Cool way to see the beach with out getting sandy. Parked for free at a gift shop nearby & bought a souvenir. Had ice cream at the beginning of the pier.

Beautiful place. Watch people fish. Bars and restaurants. Wonderful atmosphere. Parking 2.00 an hour. Ice cream shops.

Pier looks newly finished/redone. While we didnt fish there, we walked out to the end to watch the sun set. If you happen to go here, Id recommend stopping by Sharkys (located at the beach end of the pier) for some brews and dinner!

You have to walk out on the pier and take a look back at the beach and hotels that line the oceanside. The pier is a great place to people watch and has some great restaurants nearby. If you go to Ft. Myers beach you need to walk the pier.

My favorite place in the entire world. The views are amazing!!! During the day you can see the dolphins and people fishing, boating, parasailing, jet skiing, everything! At night it’s perfect for those AMAZING Florida sunsets and storms over the gulf!

Not enough beach with as many people that go to visit. No lifeguards on duty. The upside is that it is generally easy to walk out a fair amount of distance without falling from the waves. I didnt approve of fishing off the pier because this draws danger to the beach.

Aged ole pier that often has live music and a ton of places to eat and shop at. Parking can be tough at times, but its worth the wait.

The pier is nice and in excellent shape. The shop has most anything you may need for fishing. The only down side is the shop is not open for the posted hours during the off season. They often close early duringiff season if there are not many people on the pier.

Always a pleasant experience at my favorite place

This place is pretty cool, the pier is right over the water on stilts/pilings. There is a little rinky dink shop with souviners and other little trinkets. The shaded hut is cool for staying out of the sun while enjoying the view or having a quick lunch.
