I finally got to swim laps here yesterday and it was great fun to be here in this huge complex! The place is really dated and a bit run down... but the pool and locker rooms were clean, the sun shone brightly and everybody was very pleasant. Tip of the day.. Park in the lot along the immediate North edge of the property and use the pay to park machine INSIDE THE FACILITY GATE. Youll pay only a buck an hour to park.

Every time I come to Fort Lauderdale on business, I stay on the beach and swim at this amazing aquatic center. Ive been coming here over 20 years. The 50 m Lanes are heaven! So few pools have this luxury.

Very unorganized in my opinion. 3 days of cancelled classes in a row and no make ups. Some people told us we would get a refund but we never did. This class is a waste of time and poorly run. Kinda of a joke for level 1 or 2. They dont really swim at all or try to teach them as they should be when you pay for swimming lessons. We wont be back, they have wasted the summer vacation time for when kids need to learn how to swim. Big dissappointment!

If you like to better your swimming skills in a quiet chill environment come during the morning around 9-11. At 12pm thats when people starts to come and i have to say the people that work there are extremely nice and welcoming. This place is extremely large. And only for $4.00 dollars. The distance from this place to the beach in walking time is not more than 1 mins. Seriously why go anywhere else. And also group swimming lessons are sometimes available throughout the week. Ill give this place a 5 star rating because they deserve it. :)

They need to refinish this pool. It is such a shame that they let it fall into such disrepair. This is supposed to be a world class facility? Shame on them.

Disappointing experience. I took my daughter to tryout for swim team and they seemed indifferent. They were not friendly or encouraging and at the end I was told she couldnt be on the team and was advised she could do lessons which were offered one day per week . How can you improve going one day per week? They simply didnt care.
