The only reason its not 5 stars is because they arent easily found But when you do ITS SO MUCH FUN!What a great set of entertainers! Yes this is off Broadway and thats irrelevant here because they are as good and enjoyable as any show Ive attended in New York!Go and support this little theater because it is gratifying to contribute to this wonderful group who earn beyond what they get!Bravo bravo bravo! So sweet and intimate!

This is a small independent theater which features independent live productions. The venue seats a maximum of fifty people. There are refreshments like water, soda and wine for sale. Its bare bones, cozy and limited in size for sets but for a nice evening watching a play, its something to consider.

How great has a place putting on original Productions in a small theater I think thats what I missed most about leaving New York City and its here I saw some of the most hilarious things .Ed Sparred launched a a drag version of the most ridiculous Lana Turner movie where her children give her LSD to try to get her to confess yes every costumes down The Last Detail only thing was he couldnt zip them up the back so when in doubt use duct tape. Thats what made it so funny Broadway shows are just too perfect things like this happen it makes it all so much more enjoyable. I give it 11 Stars

Small community theater showcasing gay and queer productions. Most plays weve seen here have less than five actors, sometimes even just one, but they are all enjoyable nonetheless. This venue has open seating, two bathrooms, and a small selection of snacks and wine on offer. Friendly staff with mostly local actors.

The Empire Stage presents gay-themed productions in a small intimate space. Although I remain skeptical about the quality of their productions, audiences seem to respond quite enthusiastically.

The lead actress did not fit the role and did an extremely poor job of the play. The lead male was ok but a little pushed for talent. The plays subject was morbid & unappealing.

Empire Stage is a little bit of Off-Off-Off -Off Broadway in FtL. A tiny little space that only seats about 61 people. Catering mainly to the LGBT crowd Empire features local productions and some regional tours. The highlight is if you happen to see one of the Jamie Morris parody shows. Whether its Mommie Queerest, Redesigning Women or one of the others you are sure to have a good time. Currently running is the world premiere of Gilligans Fire Island - check it out, its a hoot !
