I love the Broward Center, I volunteer there so I really know it! Besides being a beautiful theater, the shows it offers are top productions, and done as well as they are on Broadway. The food is limited in the theater but what they have is really good. Great turkey sandwich. Parking is very convenient, and the theater has many places to get food and drinks, any there are many more choices in a short walking distance.

This was my first time visiting this venue. It was a rainy night and I was concerned that I would get wet walking to the theater but they had a covered parking lot with a direct bridge into the theater! The ushers quickly helped us locate our seats. We got a drink as we waited and I took some time to appreciate the place and it was beautiful! We went to see Whitney Houstons Greatest Love of All. I always wanted to see this production live. After the experience we had I must go every year when it comes into town. The songstress Belinda Davids was outstanding! If you didnt know any better youd think it was Whitney herself. Great experience look forward to seeing other acts at this venue.

What a gorgeous venue! The acoustics were good. We went to a rock concert there, but I now understand why so many plays and musicals run there -- the stage and seating are perfect, with private tiered boxes, or loges, up both sides. If your event has the option of paying extra for the Intermezzo Lounge, go for it! Their food & drink choices were surprisingly upscale, gourmet, well worth the extra money! Just get there a little early if you purchase tickets for Intermezzo Lounge seating indoors; our little outdoor table was lovely, but FL hot & humid. Park in the parking garage at the venue for $15.00 per night. Great experience at this gem.

Been going here for plays and performances since I was in elementary school. Now, I enjoy taking my students on field trips there. The daytime and nighttime views of this venue vary greatly. Nighttime is a bustling adult adventure time, while the daytime is more casual in nature. I will soon get to enjoy a symphony and opera there as a longtime adult goal of mine.

First time visiting Broward Center for the Performing Arts and I must say it was a pleasant experience. I saw Trixie Mattel: Grown Up, in the Amaturo theater. The theater was nice, and the seats were comfortable, albeit a bit intimate with your neighbors. Parking was relatively easy in the parking garage, and getting across the street to the theater via the catwalk was convenient. There were security checkpoints at every building entrance which caused a bit of a bottleneck at points, but security was comforting nonetheless.

Went to see Hamilton! Arrive early and parking will be a breeze right across the street there is a garage. While you kill time before the show check out craft tacos they r soooo yum! Once it is time to check in it is where I give the 4 stars they they wait till the last minute to check ur tickets and the lines where huge and the staff is a bit old (I feel a little horrible saying that) but they r slow with the tickets scanning. No idea why they don’t check the tickets at the entrance instead! Inside drinks are expensive $14 to $16 which is expected from a place like this.

Great views from every seat. Efficiently run and organized! Staff is on ball, show started on time. Only downfall being the price of the drinks. My husband and I ordered 2 drinks, premixed drinks, and it was $50. I thought that was totally ridiculous. Could be why there is never a line. Think of the amount of revenue you are missing! Just lower the drink prices and make twice as much profit!

Everyone needs some culture every now and again. You can only read so many books until you need to experience life. We saw Phantom of the Opera and it was a great show with good production value. They have a bar which serves way overpriced drinks but you cant complain because its part of the deal. So do yourself a favor, turn off Netflix and go watch adults sing for money.

Have seen a few shows here and just saw Hamilton last night -which by the way is as amazing as the hype says it is. The theater itself is very large and nice. The staff is very helpful and they try to have them at all major points of traffic. My only issue is that the parking. The attached garage is convenient but $15 for just a few hours of parking. Also, for whatever reason it always takes forever to get out. Like if they dont have shows every month to get it right. I live in Miami and the Adrianne Arscht has much cheaper parking options and is a little smaller so you get a closer view. Overall though, still a great place but Id like to have a better parking experience.

Very clean, intimate theater. Great seats and views abound. Not many bathrooms though. Located in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Parking is in downtown, so you pay $10 for 3 hours @ the minimum. Saw comedian Jim Norton and a female comic (didnt get her name) who opened for Jim. Both comics were finished in an hour and a half. Too short of a show, but thats not the venues fault. I would go back to see other comics though.

My husband and I attended the Miami city ballets performance of the nutcracker here. I didnt want to spend a ton of money and ended up with seats about 10-15 rows from the top in the balcony for less than 30 each. The setup is so well done that I ended up forgetting how far we were from the stage because the view was still fantastic. Of course the talent of the dancers had something to do with that as well but I do think the interior is well designed. The sound was really nice, the seats were comfortable, the bar prices were reasonable compared to most places with a captive customer base. We also were able to stand on a lovely outdoor balcony during intermission. Parking was in a structure right across the street, very reasonably priced and organized so there were no traffic jams on the way in or out. I just generally thought the building and the landscaping were really beautiful and made the evening feel really formal and nice.

Horrible, horrible, horrible concert etiquette at Miami City Ballet performance Sunday afternoon March 1! The management should really take a look at the practice of allowing VERY LATE arrivals to continue entering and disrupting a performance already in progress. The entire first section of the performance was marred by all the noise, jostling about, cell phones going off, bright flashlights wielded by ushers, loud conversation, etc. We have attended performances in much more “backwater” locales with better concert etiquette and practices regarding audience behavior.

The Broward Center for the Performing Arts is an exquisite venue. I attended the Symphony of The Americas Series, Magico Visual Concerto, conducted by James Brooks-Bruzzese (Artistic Director/Conductor) in the Amaturo Theater. A tri-split widescreen projection performance in-sync with a photochoregraphed symphonic performance by photographer & multi-media artist Nicholas Bardonnay. The interchanged still photos contained various images of the Yucatan Peninsula and the inner cities of Mexico. There were eye capturing vivid colors, culturally created ancestral art, daily life conductivity all congealed in a distant learning visual presentation.Audibly pleasing and visually stimulating is an understatement! Treat yourself and attend the Symphony of The Americas series at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts. You wont be disappointed in the least. A perfect place for families, singles and couples.
