This is a nice quiet place in the city with short trails that overlap for a slightly longer walk. Very natural. Close to highway so traffic sounds on that side of the park.

This place is ok... there’s a few things that should be considered before going on a hike here:01) The noise is so loud from the roadway, you can’t hear the sounds of nature. It ruins the whole experience.02) You’re kinda expected to pickup any trash. I’m there to walk and take in the beauty, not to do the job of city employees.03) There’s signs of homeless camps in the reserve.04) There’s not enough directional signs and easy to lost.05) Many of the information signs are broken and or so dirty it’s hard to read.

Great quick trail. Easy to access from the highway. It rained the day before so a little bit of mud. Some road traffic from PGBT but to be expected in the DFW Metroplex. Maybe 3 pieces of trash along the way but most of it was near the entrance.

This one has potential. There seem to be good trails that are nice and wide. There is a beautiful picnic area beside a pond that was surprisingly insulated from the city, even with the highway close by.The biggest issues should be expected. This is a nature preserve, specifically a wetlands preserve. So with that comes flooding, mud and a LOT of mosquitoes. We had gone only a quarter mile down the trail and we had to turn back because we were not prepared for the bugs. Next time well wear long sleeves and pants with big spray.

Amazing small park, it will take you 1hr to troll all paths. You can take stroller with. And you see pristine nature, birds, animals if lucky, etc. Benches on the way. Great escape into woods. Only the cars are still heard from the roads nearby.Entrance from Valley View Ln, Farmers Branch, TX 75234

This is a little slice of heaven in the middle of the DFW metroplex. The natural paths are easy to follow with markers letting you know which path you are taking. I love looking at the Trinity River from the bench provided. Another favorite place is behind the pond loop to sit on the bench and read and view the few people who venture back there. You can spend a couple of hours walking the trails under a canopy of trees.

This has super easy and wide trails with plenty of shade. All paths are under a mile so it is easy to go with little ones.

Absolutely fantastic walking trail. There isnt anything man-made that is a central focus, and thats great! This is the type of place where you can sit very quietly and the animals come out. But dont be fooled into thinking youre 100% safe. There are snakes, bobcats, coyote, and poison ivy.

Great for a walk in the woods. I also use it for trail running. Its all trail and no payment. Good tree coverage so the temp is bearable even when hot outside.

A nice trail through the woods, under a freeway overpass. Refuge in the middle of the city.

Nice place to go within the city. The trails are nice and it only takes about an hour but to be in the middle of suburbia, its neat! :)

Never expected to find a beautiful little park under the highway, but there it is! Entrance can be tough to find, and steep, but the pond is totally worth it!

Great, saw deer tracks and an Opossom. The only negative is the constant sound of the highway, and the mud bogging down our stroller.

Address is wrong. Trailhead is under PGBT off west bound Valley View lane.Surprisingly clean. Good educational signage. A bit loud though.

This trail is just average. Its right under the highway so theres a lot of noise pollution, and a lot of trash on the outer side of the trail.
