This is a pretty awesome little park, the animals seem to have a great time and its fun to be there both when it is packed as well as empty. There are some careless dog owners and at least one whack job that walks a cat there now and again but nothing to extreme that I have seen. The only thing I think needs to change is some more lighting and perhaps some security cameras. Ive talked to quite a few people that have had some uncomfortable experiences there after dark and some kids tagged up the block building during the summer. Even though there is room for safety improvements this is still an awesome place to take your dog for some exercise and social time.

The best Dog Park I have been to in the country. Trail, obstacles, training and swimming all are in one park. Wonderful people and extraordinary dogs! Have an amazing outdoor experience in the city.

Nice to have an off leash dog Park. Fun to meet other dog lovers. My dog really enjoys going and started going in for a dip in the pond.

Very convenient parking, restrooms, and water fountain for using the Sakatah State Trail.

Fantastic dog park! My retriever loves to swim and I felt comfortable letting him loose in the enclosed park where he could swim to his hearts content ant then make a few laps around the wooded racetrack to dry off. Definitely the best dog park weve been to in southern MN

My dog loved this place so much, I swear he was dancing! Until when we were at the gate to leave and another dog rushed and attacked him. The dog owner had absolutely zero control of his dog. Luckily I was able to push my dog out the gate and he wasnt hurt. I havent been back since.

Great Community addition. Go find the secret spot where the art piece is installed.

My dog Tripp LOVES this park! Pack towls and blankets this is a true dog beach. My boy loves swimming in the lake and racing down the trails along with some good rolls in the sand. This is a nice clean park with lots of space for dogs to run and make friends!

Small but nice! Right now its very icy, but its that time of year, not sure anything can be done, but not the safest conditions? Recommend snow shoes! Love the entrance/bridge with all the ducks underneath!!

Shade on the trail around the whole enclosed space, nice small beach area, good sized pond, clean overall. Theres benches for the humans to sit on, some picnic tables, and lots of varied space for the dogs. Loved it!

Cute dog park! Just a simple trail around the pond but perfect to leg your canine buddy run free! A little hard to get to if youre coming from the south.

Really cool park for the pups. They love the pond. But it IS a pond. Smelly and slimey. Haha but theres fresh hose water to wash off the dogs before leaving. Theres one tree by the water that the dogs all love chasing each other around. Theres a walking trail around the pond which is nice

Nice place to take the your dogs when it isnt packed, but have been told to watch it if your dog goes into the water as the water is not that clean anymore.
