Nothing much else to do in the area. Overheard an old guy on a bike fighting with some girl and her friend who said he’d kill him. Sounded very peaceful. Wouldn’t recommend unless your planning a picnic next to the parking lot.

Great stop along the river walk for some photos. I was happy to read that all of the antlers were found in the wildlands surrounding the area. Very Fairbanks, very Alaskan.

I was here mid winter in Jan 2020 and it was so beautiful. The arch includes more than 100 moose and caribou antlers from all over Alaska. Its near the car park of the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitor Center in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Got 5 mins? Then come visit! If youre chasing light in this town, you should come since theres really nothing else to do during the day. The arch is pretty nice for pictures. Come walk along the river too. The visitor center right next to the arch is the highlight of my trip.

Fun little photo op outside the cultural center. More attractive in the summer, for sure, but the winter is kind of pretty too.

Pretty cool gateway arch, linking experiences from all over Alaska. Every rack tells its own story, and this is an interesting place to pause before entering the adjacent Morris Cultural Center, which is a fabulous place to visit.

Fun place to take photos. If you are from out of town, this may be the largest collection of antlers youve ever seen.

I was only passing through, yet I was treated to this surprise. Its a bit macabre but interesting none the less. Even strolling through in winter the place was clean and welcoming.

This is part of the Fairbaanks I formation centre. It has lots of nice native sculptures. The ladies at the help desk are very nice and super helpful.

Good place for photo just right outside the welcome center. The path to the arch leads straight into a trail that goes along the Chena river.
