Lovely place for kids. So much fun! Kids of all ages can join the fun along with the parents here, there’s all kinds of activities, and toys to play with. There’s a little art section, there’s a more private area for breastfeeding moms and little rooms for kids parties and gatherings. I didn’t give that last star because I wish they would’ve had a cafeteria or something like that. Everything was very clean and tidy despite all the kids that visit the place day after day.

This is an awesome place for kids. They also have a discount for people who have state benefits which is amazing because it allows those individuals to bring their children for a discounted price! This is truly an awesome place my kids loved every minute we spent here. It is filled with different things for kids to enjoy and even things adults can enjoy with their children... this place is amazing and I highly suggest it for anyone heading to Fairbanks with children in the winter months!!

My son had so much fun here! The children do need supervision but it was fun to follow my kid around and watch as he explored. Next time I visit I would go back here for sure!

We love this place! It’s perfect for a rainy day or for needing to spend some time in town between obligations. We have had a membership for years because the value of having a place like this in the wintertime is so worth it. I enjoy that I can bring my kids to do interesting art projects, all the materials are included, and the space is already set up for it. It has made paint and glue much more enjoyable for this family.

There is nowhere else in Fairbanks like it. Yes, its not like Childrens Museums in the lower 48, but they are doing the best they can with what they have. With that said they offer different exhibits and activities often. And Exhibits are often switched around. So thats always nice. Also we like getting a book at the end.

Lots of fun stuff for kids to do. The cleanliness was a little to be desired. There is a climbing wall, a vet center, a microscope, a piano to play on, art center, building center, a toddler section, plus more! Some snacks available and they also have a section for free books.

It was awesome for the kids entertainment. Good cheep entertainment. Plenty for the kids to do all types of hands on. The snacks are great not expensive. My daughter had a great time thank you.

We absolutely love FCM and find so much value in every visit! Weve been visiting for over 3 years and the museum is constantly changing and improving and keeping kids and families as their priority. Huge shout out to Kalena who has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported. As a mom with two toddlers I cant express how helpful it has been to have somewhere to go where people accept you as you are and share a love for play and learning. Thank you FCM!

I am a member of the museum, but I am reviewing their Kids Night In on First Friday. As a parent with no family in town, it is hard to have a date with my husband. My daughter loves the museum, and I love the staff. It is a place I feel comfortable dropping daughter off for a couple of hours to have fun and be safe. They even ordered pizza for the children. The drop off time was 5:30-8pm. This gave us adequate time for a nice dinner out. We will be using this again.

Number one place to bring my kids to go play. Staff are amazing and friendly all the time, and they are always changing up exhibits to keep things fresh and exciting!

The place was a blast to visit, and they had plenty of things for my daughter to do! She didnt wanna leave after it all, only with promises to go back! Great fun stuff for kids, along with some educational things too! Definitely recommend it to anyone with little ones looking for a place to go for fun downtown!

Absolutely amazing, my kids loved it here. The toys and exhibits were fun and engaging and the snacks/gifts were exceptionally priced. If youve hesitated on taking your kids here dont, its a really cool experience.

Very fun for my kids. Lots of toys for All Ages. Great craft room. Family friendly environment. Nursing nook, Cafeteria, snacks for purchase, coffee & water. Chairs for pregnant moms to relax. The Change of displays is awesome, keeps my kids intrested and excited, as they learn and play new games. I really loved the personal touch of Kids stools in the bathrooms for the little ones my children love them!

Such a blast, they have this sweet deal once a month where you can drop the kids off for almost 3 hours and they just play thier little butts off and have fun. This is the perfect opportunity for a date night. Wink wink.*

Went for the baby mingle and it was a fun experience. The facility is not big but many things to do and the staffs are very nice. Very clean too!

A great place to spend an afternoon! We had fun taking our 17-month old here while we were on vacation. He met new friends, found fun toys and ran out some excess energy. They have a climbing wall, microscope, boat races, and craft room.

My kiddos from 1 to 9 all love to go here. It is the perfect size to keep them busy but not feel like you are chasing them all in different directions. Super kind staff and they host regular events as well as classes and summer camps. They also regularly switch out their displays and playstations in themes. They have a sensory room as well as a special time for sensory sensitive play. Memberships are a fantastic deal and they host birthday parties as well.

I dont have any young kids but the Shrine Club I belong too here in Fairbanks has their Easter party there every year and the kids love it. There is so many fun things for them to interact with including some very scientific devices like microscopes that display on a big screen. Great place to take young ones in the winter months.

Fun activities even for our 21 month old. The museum was a great value too at $8 a person. Our son played for well over an hour and only us having other things to do kept him from playing more.

Rainy day visits with my grandson, who was joyously entertained - and likely learned a few things. The current theme is China, presented through videos and hands on activities, which is the engaging approach throughout the museum. Exhibits and activities are durably designed with child safety understood.

This was a great space for kids to run around and play in the winter. Several different activities for the kids to do from arts and crafts, to water tables and imagination play areas.

We love it here! My daughters favorite part is watching older kids play! She learns so much from watching and interacting. They even have this amazing craft room and a wood tinkering station that I think is amazing because they get to learn skills they might not usually get to!

My 3 year old daughter had so much fun here! So many hands on, engaging, and educational, activities. I recently moved to Fairbanks, from California and was invited to visit the museum by one of the curators I met on my flight to AK. Her name is Brenda. She was a great support for my daughter, and especially for me on that flight. A true. Id recommend it for children and of all ages.

Another great place to take your kids too. They also have people that come out to talk to moms and dads. I was there a week ago and they had a lady there to talk to the mothers about PPD. It was great for them. Im glad we went.

Awesome place to take your family, we have had a membership here for a few years now and is worth its weight in gold for entertaining the kids. There is always something going on with a wide range of activities as well as community events.

Great facilities for the whole family. Family friendly bathrooms and dedicated snack room to buy or bring your own. Perfect for says that are too cold to play outside.

I took my little friend, Ellie, here to celebrate her birthday. She made new friends, loved the water exhibit, became an official Reasearch Scientist for a good half hour, and overall had a blast! Well definitely be back!

Great activities for kids. Very clean. Little gift shop where you can get coffee. There is a room where you and kids can eat food you bring. There is an old piano with notes on the keys and a play book so you can imstantly play a song. Great water activity. Nice rock collection that kids can view rocks up close with an adjusting microscope. Reading area with lots of books. Puppet stage with puppets, so kids can put on a play. All kinds of things to keep the kiddies from getting cabin nuts during the winter. Little pricey though. 8$ for adults and 3 for kids i think. There are discounts for folks that use ebt etc. Worth the visit.

We LOVED this place. Dont let the word museum put you off. Its a great open, safe place where the kids (and you) can play, explore and touch everything.

Fantastic! You can spend a raining day with your babies or not raining day... They have a lot of games and spaces to make thinks... Our baby was crazy!!!

Become a member, its the best thing going for learning and fun combined for the kids. Activities change to expose young ones to new ventures such as Life for students in China.

Paid the 120 dollar membership, which is not cheap for the amount of things to do there, not that my daughter didnt have good time, had her birthday party there and after all said and done they stuck us for the Adults that just came to bring their kids.... Absolutely ridiculous and they just didnt care.... cost over 300 just for a room rental ,small, and the kids and adults... then tried to come and membership up by couple days but didnt have the money to spend right then and they wouldnt let her in, she had meltdown.. . While it is a good thing to have, it is over priced for what you get, and the teens that work the counter are totally heartless.... dont think well be spending anymore money with them, its about the kids, not turning a big profit.... and I wanted to build a station to donate
