Awesome hike! Paths go around a huge pond and theres a hatchery on the other side. I Highly recommend going in the fall or late spring.

The place is beautiful but the boat ramp was crowded and the clientele rowdy and loud. Plenty of trash everywhere. Once you are out on the lake it is very nice.

Kayaking heaven with crystal clear water. Hiking and biking trails galore. Renewed state management for civilized people to enjoy now. Please take out what you bring in.

Meh, if you like a Sandy beach with expensive parking at $23 dollars this isnt for me. Probably good for a family with kids. I went to this place because of an article I read that shows a Lighthouse. The Lighthouse is not here but a frw miles away.

Used to love this place since I live minutes away but it has been overrun by people coming from cities and they leave all their trash behind. There is never any parking anymore either. Instead of expanding the parking lot to accommodate the volume of people the state put up fencing and wasted tax money spreading rocks everywhere.

This is a fun place to take your boat out. That being said it is mainly a boat launch. There is limited open parking for hiking or whatever. Look for the boat parking only beyond this point sign as they do ticket. Great sized pond just be careful in the middle in some places its rocky. You can see the boulders protruding out in that area. The boat launch is great its nice and wide. But since they worked on it theres a pole in the middle of the road which makes unloading a bit more difficult. There are some parts missing from the dock like bolts and rollers. Someone probably stole it for their trailer. Just be aware of all of the noobs on jet skis who like to ride around the boat launch for some reason. They will crash right into your boat because they dont know there is no steering unless you are on the gas. Tip of the day.
