Great park with playground, benches, pond, and overhanging piers. Sidewalks around the pond are littered with fecal matter from the waterfowl in the area making it hard to avoid when biking or jogging.

Diamond valley Park would be a great place to go if you didnt have to Wade through all the trash. Evansville does not know how to clean or maintenance their parks. Maybe community service could keep the trash out of it, instead of always doing the same stretch of highway over and over!

Nice place for folks to relax within the city. Fishing at the lake is poor by any standard. Lots of ducks and geese that are eager for any lunch leftovers. Not where I would choose to go, but better than nothing in this neighborhood.

Has potential to be really nice park, but... It is not maintained very well with lots of weed growth. Ducks and geese constantly harass you for food and leave a mess everywhere you want to walk. I will say I like to park here by the lake and eat my lunch in my car in peace.

A wonderful calming experience. Diamond Valley Park is a great place to walk or take the kids to play. The little pond offers quaint fishing expeditions. A lot of fun best describes the DVP experience.

City has let the park go to waste. Visited regularly as a child, now living near it, graffiti everywhere, one day the basketball court had over 100 red solo cups everywhere; Empty pill bottles, needles, ridiculous amounts of trash and holes everywhere. People fish and cut up the fish right there leaving guts and decay everywhere, sometimes just leaving the entire fish to waste and rot. Playground if pathetic and falling apartment and no longer surrounded by sad but mud weeds and trash. Homeless people setting up camp, many times I am cat called or made to feel uncomfortable by strange men sitting in their cars near the walkway. A month or so ago I heard people arguing around 10pm and went outside to see a group of people on the basketball court fist fighting and then a gun shot and everyone took off. The neighborhood Walmart next to it had to start locking all cosmetics in glass cases and close at 12am instead of being 24 hours and the gas station has drug users puking everywhere. Constant ambulance and firetrucks rushing to the atrocious tower apartments overlooking the park because of malfunction with the elevator almost everyday, It use to be a nice area I really wish something could be done about it but I wouldnt recommend bringing children until they make it change.

This park has unfortunately been let go some. Someone does mowing but they dont do any detailing leting weeds take over one bridge. Since the weeds on the fence have been let go the park can no longer be seen from Diamond. The walk around the pond is still in good shape and about 1/3 of a mile.Besides a bunch of ducks you also get to see several shopping carts in the water.

Not many amenities at this park. There is a lake for fishing and a paved walking trail around the lake. Thats about it. Lots of trash in the lake, around the lake, and along the road. Not well maintained.
