WOW Hall is a beautiful space with wood floors, bench lined walls, and enough room to hold 100’s of people. It’s a historic building with well preserved antique fixtures in the bathroom and a cool cave like grotto in the basement where you can get beer and wine. I have seen several shows here and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. Most are volunteers but even the paid directors that handle accessibility and access are great. This is a fully wheelchair accessible venue though it doesn’t look like it at first with the stairs at the front entrance. There is a side entry with a ramp. They have a variety of performers and events here and I enjoy coming back again and again.

This is a great little venue nestled right into downtown Eugene. First time visiting tonight to see a set of local bands and I really enjoyed it! The place itself has a lot of character and ambiance and the audio mix was superb and not too loud. They even had an underground bar with local brews! Only downside is not being able to take the drinks up to where the bands are playing but they have a live camera and audio mix to the basement so you can finish your drink and not miss the show too much. Was a great place to spend an evening, definitely will be coming back!

LDW (talking heads cover band) put on a great show on the large WOW hall stage, big enough for 5 musicians and 2 dancers to let loose. Great crowd with nothing unpleasant. Everyone danced all night. I give the hall only 4 stars because the sound system or acoustics are mushy. Not too loud, but not a clean sound.

A wonderful place to see a concert. Acoustics were wonderful and and it was very easy to see the Bands from any location. There is a small bar downstairs which serves many different kinds of alcoholic drinks. I would recommend this as a terrific place to see live music in Eugene.

This is really a cool venue. Its an older building, which provides a very unique vibe. I havent been to a show there recently, but I did see Mickey Avalon when he came to town a few years back, and it was a great show! Its also close to an outpatient program that I attend and I frequently run into the groundskeepers of the property and they are always friendly and happy to say hi

I appreciate the WOW Halls mission to bring good music and events to the community at a low cost to their patrons. Lots of great acts in music, comedy, and even academics come through this renovated chapel to create a space for all ages. My one issue with the space is that the high frequencies can be over represented in the sound due to the Halls natural reverberations. Luckily, the venue sells ear plugs for any of us that are sensitive to the higher frequencies.

Wow Hall is my favorite venue in Oregon. Its an intimate setting that is always all ages so anyone can come and enjoy live music. Amazingly cozy, intimate show room. Has a very artys, hidden feel to it. The pews along the sides of the walls in the performance area really complete the whole look. Great sound for shows. Friendly staff. Would definitely come back. Few blocks away from bar and club district. Not sure if the parking out back is open to the patrons, but if it is its very limited so keep that in mind. All ages, but bar located on lower floor.

A long-standing venue of Eugene. The place is faithful and historic, creaky yet modern. Ive been to a rave here, play the show here with my group Osprey flies the nest, and both experiences were pretty great. A lot of great people have played at this location, which surprise me when I played my first show here. The bar underneath the venue is super cool, got a neat almost Speakeasy feel to it. If youre looking to see a good Eugene show, check this place out.

This place is a tradition here in The EUG. It is a Community Hall with miles of smiles. It does have a beer/cider/wine bar in the basement for 21+(with a video feed from the stage on a flat screen downstairs) so sometimes you spend half your show downstairs! But if you have kids (or just under 21years old) its one of the few places the whole family can go to get their boogie ON! So many kids here have grown up napping under the old bleacher seating(safely of course!) Or on the church pews. Its a part of us all. So if youre visiting town, or decided youre staying, pick a show you like, and do yourself a favor and see a close up slice of Eugene vibes @the WOW Hall. Some great Youngbloods have taken over the helm and are steering it to great new places while still keeping reverence for the past.

There are a lot of reasons why I would give full Stars. The history of the building is profound, and the architecture as well. The shows are great, I love going to events there but more than anything else its the people. The people who run that place and volunteer their time to help the place continue do so as a labor of love. Even the ones who get paid to do it go the extra mile because they love what they do. Also the bar is cool.

This place is awesome! It looks like an old country dance hall in a church or something. ha! The acoustics are spot on. Nice wood floors and seating hugs the walls. Decent sized stage and room. The drinking area is downstairs, so its not a cluster of socialites yelling over the music. This is definitely one of my favorite places to catch a show, in town. The WOW hall is a Eugene staple. A community theater that hosts a variety of shows. Comedians, concerts, and of course plays. The main hall is furnished with folding chairs (it is a community theater after all), they have an outdoor smoking area, and booze in the basement. To get downstairs you must present ID at which point you get rubber stamped, this allows quicker access for the rest of the show. Just so you can get your buzz on and not miss the show there are tvs with a live feed from the show above. If you want an elegant night out to see something fancy, go to the Hult Center. If you want a casual night out and booze, you are better off at the WOW Hall.

Cant argue with the price, but Ill be that guy and point out that one of the worst parts about all ages shows is the under-21 crowd largely being incredibly rude when it comes to the pit. Heres a tip, youngsters: if the pit area you carved out is already massive even though theres only 10 people in it, you shouldnt be running into people who are 5 people-deep outside the pit. Rein it in and stop ruining other peoples enjoyment of the show. Also, you can only drink in the basement, where you have to watch the show from a TV? Pretty lame; another thing the kids ruin.WOW does a great job getting decent acts to a small town, but the venue is largely pretty unenjoyable and a perfect reason why flasks exist.

We drive from Portland to Eugene for the all ages shows at WOW Hall so my son can see the shows too. Super cheap, quality entertainment. Theres an intimate feel to the venue. I have anxiety issues from aspergers but I dont feel easily overwhelmed there. The seating is limited but we have never had a problem getting seating. We love it there. The last show, security snagged a poster for us because we missed out last time. He surprised us on our way out. Worth the drive, but get there a few minutes early or be prepared to park far away.
