Only went here 1 time, but it seems like a great place. We saw Silversun Pickups. It was easy to get in, no waiting. Staff was nice. The sound was great! We went on the floor where its standing only, but there is a mezzanine that has seating. Wasnt crazy with a bunch of idiots out of control, Im sure for other acts it may be different. Great place for a show..

Old architecture is my jam! This theater is a fun venue for concerts. You get to be up close and personal to the band. Also, it frequently has all ages shows whiçh is nice due to the variety of people. Definitely worth a visit if youre in town. Also, its near local pubs etc if youre not done in by the concert.

As a patron its an Incredible venue, professional front of house staff, decent bar with screens of the stsge & a great sound system. As a performer the stage hands were very helpful & organized. I have to give them 2 stars though because whomever the house manager was the night the band Im in played we were treated very unprofessionally & as though we were not welcome. Ive been playing regularly for 6+ years & have been treated better at every show. Cheers

I was sceptical about seeing a show here because I saw there were seats in most of the photos. Nothing, in my opinion, ruins a good show like being confined to a seat or trying to boogie in the space around it. Luckily the folks at McDonald Theater must feel the same as the seats were removed for the show I attended and there was plenty of room to get down. On top of that, the slanted floor had a hidden benefit - my vertically challenged wife wasnt at a disadvantage - she could more or less see over the folks in front of her and didnt feel the need to drag us to the front through the undulating mass of people.

Nice sized venue. Lucky to have them. I like that the drinks are reasonably priced. $2 for water is fair ...some concert halls charge $5. Not a bad seat in the house and acoustics are pretty good. Ive been to at least 20 shows there over the years and never really had an issue.

Super fun, small but intimate venue. Being able to be up close to a band and not feel piled up is awesome! Bar area was nice to have but the fact security was nice and allowed reentry was the selling point. If anything planning out your bathroom time is important, since there is limited space.

Super nice and clean theater. Love the sloped floor..give us poor short people an equal shot at a good view! The staff was super friendly and helpful. At first I was confused about not being able to take drinks down onto the main floor, but as the night progressed and I realized I wasnt kicking empty cans and cups and wasnt sticking to the floor, I grew to appreciate it.

I wont tickets to a show there on the radio. It was a magician so I brought my son with me. I am disabled and use a walker which i could not get to our seats in the balcony. I told staff and they went right to work, finding us another seat and even walking with me there to make sure I was ok. Our seats were on the floor and we had a perfect view. They even let my son go ahead of others to meet the show performers. They were so kind and accommodating, and I didnt even pay fro my tickets! It was an amazing experience and Ill definitely be going back.

This is a great show location. I like the atmosphere. Theres not a lot of exit room on the way out so you gotta shuffle out like a Hurd of cattle. But the staff was great. The bathrooms were clean even towards the end of the show. The sound from the balcony is great but not as good down below. I look forward to more shows here as long as they keep on booking talented musicians!

Been here for several shows! Has a good size without feeling disconnected from the acts. They are still one of the largest in town so they get all the performers not quite large enough to fill Matt Knight. Gramatik at McDonald still goes down as one of the greatest things that Ive experienced, second only to seeing a Ganja White Knight and Zeds Dead sell out Cuthbert on a fall evening. If you see something here you want, dont hesitate to come!

My husband & I purchased Row 4 seat 3 tickets months ago. We thought we were getting great seats....Found out these seats do not exist...they ripped them out & you have to stand. Horrible for us because we are both 60 & I had a boot on for an ankle fracture & he is handicapped with 2 previous knee replacements. Just a heads up ...unless you like to stand & dance. It was horrible for someone with an aircast because there are no railings to hold on to to climb all the stairs to get a seat in the balcony. The staff were completely unsympathetic to our handicapped status. I felt like a sitting duck because I could not traverse the stairs unless I had a hold of someone. We moved here from Phoenix & the IKEA theater in Mesa puts this place to shame. They went out of their way to help me when I had a fractured foot there. Shame on this place is all I have to say.

A classic Eugene venue. Awesome staff, usually decent sound for a hall of its size, and a great balcony seating option for 21 and over. Shows vary widely and cater to a vast range of music etcetera. Decently priced refreshments both alcoholic and non, especially for a music venue. The building is historic and shows its age a little, but its a very nice room to see a show.

Cool old theater, Ive seen some good shows here. The seats in the balconies are extremely cramped. I stand at 6ft, and I felt wedged between my neighbors, unable to shift in my seat because of having so little leg room, and unable to spread my legs far enough to make space for myself. If youre able to get floor seats, or dance in the isles I recommend that

I love the way theyve taken this historic movie theater, which is a unique treasure, and made it into a great concert venue. The one thing is that there is basically no backstage, because the space used to be for movies, so its hard to work. But from an audience perspective, its just a wonderful place to see live music.
