Can’t wait till it opens after covid. So many good memories! Makes Eugene more special!
Went to Jay & Silent Bob Reboot Movie and saw Kevin Smith. Was very easy to get tickets and to pick them up. Parking was right next door which I loved. You can tell the place is older which adds to the charm. Theater I was in was Sengoa I believe. Comfy chairs. Will definitely see other events here for sure!!
Seats are comfy and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Has great wine and beer selection.
Great venue to see local acts, or big touring productions. Seating is great, no bad seats in the house. Staff is always friendly and courteous. My favorite productions have all been at the Hult Center. So many memories.
The Hult Center is one of the finest theaters in the Pacific Northwest. It was built for high quality sound projection. If you are sitting on the floor, at least A-F, it can be difficult to see the stage if you are a vertically challenged person and someone with average or above average height sits in front of you. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise, the Hult Center is a great place to go for your performing Arts.
Ive performed there. Its pretty sick
I enjoyed vivaldis four seasons performance.I did not enjoy how hot it was in the auditorium.Lots of art works throughout the building, beware if you go to look at art when a shows not going on, the security not exactly polite - had one kick me off the toilet that o stopped to use after walking around the art exhibition for a half hourParking garage next door for convenience.
For the caliber of performance we attended it was almost worth it. Definitely better ability to see the action in the small theater. Acoustics were okay. Better than another local venue. Things are still priced at a level that keeps the masses from being able to enjoy a night out.
The Hult Center is very well designed. Fantastic views, great acoustics and beautiful. Ushers were great. Parking adjacent and nearby...Restrooms were clean for my visit. Id visit this venue again and highly recommend a show here.
This place has great acoustics no matter where your seats are. And a lot of big name have booked events at the Hult Center, i.e. Broadway musicals, comedy performances, Shakespeare, operas, ballet, etc etc. There are at least two stages in the building. Very nice
What a great performance center! An abundance of seating - if heights arent your thing then dont get balcony seats because you are well above the stage. Parking was easy to get both in and out. Road usage around the event is well managed to help get the garage emptied after events. Beautiful interior with plenty of space. Alcohol is sold for some events. Bathrooms are clean and good sized. I definitely hope to be able to attend more events in the future!
I really like going to the Hult Center for amazing shows. The variety they offer with the two different theaters that accomodate larger and smaller venues is fantastic. Their box office customer service has always been more than stellar and the ushers are so helpful and knowledgeable. From Comedy acts to Broadway style shows to orchestra and ballet, I have never walked away disappointed. Parking is typically a breeze, even during the larger events, and multiple options for building access is so convenient. Always clean and comfortable too. The Hult Center is an incredible asset to finding quality entertainment within reach at typically reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
This is a gem of a theater and the show (Radio Redux) was very entertaining! Prices were a little steep, but you feel like youre getting value for it. The architecture alone is unique and filled with light. It feels more like a temple to the arts than just a theater.
Great venue for concerts the acoustics are incredible in any seat and we have set all over the house. The staff is top notch always. Parking in and out has a good flow and security to keep one safe. We love the place as you can tell.........
Just came from seeing Jerry Seinfeld live. What a show. And what a venue. No bad seats in the house and such a great comedian. The perfect pair.
Great visibility from seats (I was in Mezannine, 3d row, on left) seats staggered each row, so you dont end up with someone directly in front of you (in case theyre tall/larger). Also reasonable amount of legroom to get in w/o stepping on toes! Large stage, great sound system for (relatively) medium sized venue. Great acoustics. I went for a rock concert & (purposefully)chose to not sit on the floor, close up. Sound was great in balcony w/o getting blasted. Comfortable seating. Cookies & limited snacks available. Drink bar also . Had a great time
This venue is great for everything that Ive seen there. The latest was the first Harry Potter in Concert. An awesome experience!
Its the Hult Center . . . one of the best venues in Eugene for concerts. Tonight I attended National Geographic Lives Extreme Cave Diving show! I was not disappointed!
One of the better theaters Ive been to...my only issue is the box seats, front row, thats not much of a safety railing...came up to my knee caps....loose your balance and you go toppling....great show though....kids loved Stomp
A friend couldnt make the show so she gave me her tickets and I got a mother and daughter day out to see our first musical and we absolutely loved it
It is a good venue. Seats are a little cramped for my liking. But get good sound and viewing no matter where you sit.
Been coming here for events my whole life, most recently to see Jerry Seinfeld. Very classy place, one of the centerpieces of Downtown Eugene
Great theater. Saw Stomp. Very good sound and visability from mezzanine seats.
Thanks for the wonderful Nutcracker performance! Of course the dancing, orchestra, and childrens choir were stellar but damn, those costumes were eye candy.
Love the shows they attract to their venue. Both concert halls are gorgeous.allowing to prepay for intermission drinks was a nice touch.
Fantastic venue and amazing staff/volunteers. Every seat I have had had always been great. And parking is well coordinated with the city.
The Hult Center is pretty amazing. Classy yet down to earth, and now showing acts like Broadway musicals, modern music artists of all genres, dance from ballet to modern.... and the list goes on.Very comfortable place to see a show of any type. Big enough to attract the acts you want to see but still on the intimate side. Nice selection of pre and mid show amenities, drinks and desserts.... but you will pay for these luxuries (not horribly, but it is NOT cheap.... think a major arena).Overall.... ive had awesome experiences with virtually every show Ive seen there. In fact.... I cannot recall a bad experience!
Wicked was well worth the trip from the coast. The Hult center never fails to impress on all aspects. Its fun to grab a glass of wine and sit and enjoy watching the wide variety of people who are filing in to enjoy the show. The staff are helpful but the parking attends who direct the traffic when you leave are a godsend!
Cultural hot spot for Eugene. Amazing shows. Very comfortable.
Great experience over all! The ushers were happy and helpful. The only issue was the bathroom line was really long during intermission making it difficult to get any refreshments AND use the facilities.
Rating a theater feels weird because it all depends on what you are there to see. but if something that interests you is playing at the Hult Center, make it a point to go. The lobby has lots of art worth checking out and is beautiful.
The Hult Center is fantastic. The accoustics are amazing, the shows fantastic. The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. The building itself is lovely inside and out. Always clean and very well kept. Theres a elevator. Handicapped accessible entrance, seating, bathrooms and parking. Please click the or LIKE below if you found this review helpful
Very well contructed. Great for theater n shows. Went for IAMCR 2018 Conference opening ceremony. Great show by HARMONICA.
Performers were excellent. All great. Only complaint my family had was the journey and wait times at bathrooms. Each floor should have a bathroom. Didnt have this!! Going down three flights of steps, huge line to use bathroom, up again three flights....and then almost be locked out of your seating if you missed the 15 minute recess allowed. If you go to a performance dont plan to pee. Or eat. Dont leave your seat. Also...level three seating is tight and steep. If you have a fear of heights ...reserve bottom floor. Its expensive. $$$$.
Super easy to get to and very close organized parking. Inside was warm and inviting staff were pleasant and welcoming
Never been to a ballet before. Kinda weird but Ive seen riverdance and Robert plant here. Great acoustocana d seating.
Wonderful venue. Bathroom lines are spectacularly long. Ladies, dont plan to do anything else at intermission.
Its a great local venue for larger acts. They have awesome bar staff too.
Any seat is a good seat. I was in the mezzanine section. The acoustics were fabulous. Hard to find parking so I took a cab. Staff is wonderful.
Amazing place to see shows. Definitely worth the ticket price. Sitting very close up front is the best because you are in front of the speakers and hear the actual sound of the instruments and performers.
Beautiful theater makes me feel like I am in a giant picnic basket, Great seats anywhere you sit. A+
Saw Wicked so how could it be bad? Parking was easy in and out. Companion to a wheelchair and the seata were surprisingly comfortable. The theater is well designed so even sitting in the last row felt like a good seat.
A cultural centerpiece of Eugene Oregon for over 35 years, this eloquent marvel has aged magnificently and has housed many performances of art, musical collaborations, school graduations and everything in between. As someone who grew up locally, I remember being mesmerized by the Nutcracker during the holidays (something I now enjoy as a grown man with my family). Sound carries fluidly throughout the hall and well designed seating ensures that everyone can enjoy the show. A place for young and old, for newcomers and patrons alike.
The seats are comfortable for the most part, especially in the boxes. Ushers are rather terse, but helpful. Id love to see better fare for snacking, especially for the longer shows.
Saw Death Cab for Cutie here! Sound is great, lighting is great, and the seats are not too close together.
Very popular location for performances. The radio shows are excellent.
Took my daughter for our first time and we had a blast! It was so clean, the staff was so helpful and friendly! I cant wait to see the next show!
There isnt really another place in Eugene for performances like they have. The good news is, there isnt a need for one. First class acts in a really nice environment with great sounds and dedicated volunteers.
A professional performance venue done in a professional manner. You cant loose here. Thank you to the Hult Center for giving Oregonians an opportunity to experience the performing arts on a larger scale.
What a great place to see a concert... Very stylish and great acoustics.. its a must-see place.. especially as a concert venue.. you will not regret it
Lots of angled seating so virtually every seat has a good view. The staff are very helpful when it comes to finding your seat. Acoustics are always good.
Nice venue. Attended Bill Maher
Awesome old theater with lots of lobby room. Seats could use an upgrade though!
We watched the Randy rainbow show and the acoustics of the place are great. It also has tons of seats and a nice large stage.
Saw jason mraz there. AMAZING SHOW
Great venue and well set up I thought the orchestra was spot-on in the gas pianist was amazing no Ive always loved to cows Keys piano Concerto Number 1 B flat minor
I went and saw Jeff Dunham perform at the Hult Center. Overall it was a great experience I really appreciate how they move the crowds through the parking structure, very efficient. The seats are a little crowded so if youre a person on the larger or taller side it may be a little uncomfortable. Other than that it is a very beautiful venue.
Great show, great venue, what else can you say.
Very nice venue where we saw Fluffy.
Professor Lydia Van Dreel played a BEAUTIFUL rendition of Strausss Nocturno for horn. Amazing!
Great venue with nice seats, a fun lobby and plenty of parking nearby. A real gem in the heart of Eugene.
The Lion King was absolutely fantastic. Being able to attend the Q & A afterward was excellent. Having the cast come through the audience was special. The ushers were kind of pushy about not using a cell phone even when the lights were up and show wasnt even starting for another 5 minutes.
The live orchestra took the film to another level. It was like seeing it for the first time. Cant wait fo the next opportunity to experience this!
For a small town this is a great performance Center. I love going there.
Every show I have seen here has exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend
I had a good time. Like national geographic.
Love row A of the mezzanine, best seats invthe house.
Saw the lion king. It was awesome. Upper balcony seats are great but would probably go for lower balcony next time. The kids loved the show and they have a wide variety of both kid friendly and adult beverages. The staff was very polite and helpful.
Recently, I went to see Johnny Mathis in concert and was fortunate enough to have him sign a CD while I was there. What a beautiful event space and certainly one of the classiest. Dare I say, it even out classes many of the concert halls in Portland and Seattle. The seating was a little bit cramped but overall it was great and the acoustics were pretty good too. The base was a bit heavy but thats not always the concert halls fault. parking was pretty easy and there are several restaurants around the area as well as places to stop in like an old watering hole to grab a drink before or after the concert and socialize with friends or family.
Wow! The shows Ive seen there have been great and this season has been great. I just saw Disneys The Lion King last night and it was an amazing experience that I will never forget. Overall its a great place that get high quality shows.
Big thumbs up for Wicked. Parking isnt the best experience. You have to run immediately after the show is over to get to your vehicle if youre parked in the adjacent garage or else you could get stuck for 40 minutes trying to get out.Long lines for the womens bathrooms during intermission. And if youre getting tickets try and get them in person else they charge a convenience fee which isnt so convenient.
I always live seeing show at the hult.
Great venue, I have never had a bad seat.
HARRY POTTER CONCERT AT THE HULT CENTER! Orchestra was amazing!!
We just saw Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone with a Live Orchestra! It was beautiful and the staff is pretty groovy too!
The hult center is a wonderful place for events. It is right downtown Eugene. It gets a 5 star rating
Its a huge performance hall. I mean, I dont know what show YOURE going to see here and whether itll be any good. But the space is nice and the lights work.
Beautiful theater. Ill definitely be back!
Seats are a little tight but very good views from just about anywhere. The sound was awesome too!
Such a beautiful venue. This was my first time there..definitely going to add more visits.
This place is great! Tons of interesting performers come through here. The staff are always professional. This is a must visit venue in Eugene.
Watched Wicked! It was amazing.
Great sounds, great acoustics. You want to be in row h -l in orchestra. The the first two rows of the mezzanine.
Great shows and atmosphere. Staff and greeters are always nice!
Took my mom on a date to swan lake what a great place
If you have vertigo or are scared of heights dont set up top! General seating for Sheldon graduation is at the very top
Nice but relaxed venue for a diverse offering of performances.
