My family and I have been on the road for over a week now and traveled over 1300 miles to come see this amazing tree. Theres nothing else on this earth that is its equal. This is absolutely the pinnacle of our trip and everything else will pale in comparison. This is a pilgrimage that all humans must make. If you are nearby stop at Disney World also, it is almost as much fun.

Amazing tree. You’re supposed to ask to go within the land that it legally owns, so I did and the tree was very kind in saying that he was sorry, but did not want anyone in that space. Understandable. Overall a great tree.

By far the best tree that owns itself I have ever seen!

This was the first place I’ve been in all of Alabama and I am already loving this great state. The Tree That Owns Itself is a Must-See for ANYBODY to visit if they are in the South, or maybe if you’re just in the United States and have a bit more time. Tip: cross Highland Street for the best view of the Tree.

The fact that it attracted me to drive it for the name gets a review I guess.

Its just a tree with a fence around it an a plaque.There are no gift shop, restaurant or tours...its literally a tree in someones yard and you should feel silly if you actually make a point of seeing this.
