Love this park! Nice trails. Nice sites, especially Deer Court. Beautiful lake. I extended my stay twice and still didnt want to leave. Definitely will be going back.

We had an amazing time. Our kids loved riding there bikes and playing on the playground. The view of the lake from our camp site was breathtaking. Restrooms were clean and decent( i was impressed by it having an ac unit).the only reason i gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because the pool was disgusting( in fall time early Nov.). I thought it could have still been maintained better even out of use for the season. Other than that we had a blast. I would definitely go back.

Hospitality is great and total atmosphere is breathtaking. The food was lacking its usual great taste this visit. Could be dining room was short staffed due to covid.

Beautiful campground. Nice view of the lake. Full hookups. Liked biking around and taking pictures. Saw deer. Very relaxing.

Site was mostly level. Drained well after downpour. FHU. Close by bank fishing. Staff friendly. Trails short but enjoyable. This place for us is about just chilling out and gator sighting. Wish we had a fishing boat.

Its always good to have friends in law enforcement that inform you when deceit is at hand. The General manager, the supervisor, the wild life officers, if/when guest come to have a fantastic time, fishing, enjoying wild life, please do not try to mold guest into something they are not. Staff gets involved in personal life. Ashley, Casey, Mrs. Karen and Fran are absolutely amazing! These employees made our stay pleasant!

We went for the Veterans Fireworks Show and it was super. Also had bands and music starting at 430. Some vendors present want to thank the State Farm rep. My grandsons have really enjoyed the punching balls and they are still going strong 24 hours later.

My stay was wonderful I mean the peace and serenity I felt down there was breathtaking now the bugs good lord but other that that I was heaven

Staff and campgrounds are nice. Clean bath houses. Great price and great if you have a boat. Whatch out for Gators

The sites are relatively level. Beautiful park, lots of shade trees. The bathrooms were not very clean, but we had our own bathroom in our RV. Every time we went to the store/grill, the restaurant was closed. Its a good thing we brought enough food to fix. The saltwater pool was very nice. We did see a gator swimming in the lake, so beware, watch your pets and kids around the water.

Nice park. Very nice 2 bedroom cottage. Shower setup was a disaster. Tub shower did not work. 3 people, no showers. Not good. Handle to control water temp was flopping around. Handle to turn on shower head fell off into the tub. Caulking around tub was nasty. Poor maintenance ! Didnt room service see the problem when cleaning the room ? Too much apathy. Told the front desk: sorry. No offer of showering in another room. Nothing. Will not be back.

Please update the park been coming here for 30 plus years. Put some money back into the park. Like internet. Cable, repaving roads, we still love coming here

We stayed in a camper for our vacation; the site was okay, not very level as you are pulling onto a gravel/grassy/muddy site instead of concrete. We had to check in over the phone because no one was at desk. The staff sounded very irritated. The site they assigned us to was way to small for our camper as we have a 37ft fifth wheel and they gave us a Semi-circle site. We chose another pull-through site but it was a tight squeeze between a pine tree on one side and the curb and power box on the other. Later that night we took showers in our camper because the bathhouse was nasty. We went to go flush our tanks and the sewage had been previously filled up and shot our hose out. We went by the office to get this taken care of before we went to dinner. They told the campers next to us that it was our fault . Then at about 8:30PM there was a loud knock on our camper. A man with a security hat was asking us if everything was okay. Then in the morning we were awoken by about 3 very loud lawnmowers and tractors pulling right in between our picnic table and camper and truck. Safe to say, not the best experience.

Beautiful place, nice views. Be careful around the water because there are alligators there! Yes, we saw them. Campsites are nice with hook-ups, picnic tables and grill/campfire areas. Boat ramps are close. They also have nice cabins. Checking in was very pleasant.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here. The first 2 were in the cabins and this time was in the hotel. Had a hiccup with house keeping this time but the manager of house keeping was very nice and offered to come do it herself. Recommend staying here over any other place in Eufaula! Will be returning hopefully soon!! Thanks again for a great week! Love it at Lakepoint Resort State Park!! Everything you need and more! A+++++++

Very well maintained. Pretty water all around.

The camp sites are nice we stayed in the clark loop. The hookups are on wrong side of rv but they are doable. The RESTROOMS were some of the dirtiest I have ever seen, we stayed 5 nights and they were never swepted, cleaned. The laundromat bathroom smelled of urine. I thought campsites were keeping bathrooms cleaner with covid. I would not recommend.

My wife and I stayed here a couple days over New years the place is older but very well kept. The staff was helpfull and friendly. Our room had a balcony with a great view of the lake. We will definitely go back and I would recommend this place to friends.

Only went to maintenance yard. But it looked really good.

This place is the bomb!!! Lots of water to fish, lots of trails to walk. Campground sites are large and not on top of each other. Marina has really nice staff.

We were blessed to be able to enjoy time on our balcony in t-shirts! Not their doing Gods but the quiet, tranquil atmosphere was wonderful! Service both from the resort as well as the restaurant was superb! Kudos to the kitchen manager! Her staff was amazing and food excellent.

A very beautiful place, I would love to rate it higher but killed bugs my whole stay. For first timers who plan to come with family. If you choose to stay in a cabin or cottage, choose the cottage they are well worth it. FYI bring or purchase your on Raid and Off you will need it.

Me and my family had a great time

We are currently staying in a cabin here at the state park and I can honestly say that I will not be coming back here. The beds are very uncomfortable , so much so that we all have back issues this AM. My son found food in his bed, most of the blinds are broken, the place is not clean at all, the oven range in the kitchen is about to fall apart, the entire place looks very run down. So if you enjoy a clean and semi comfortable place to stay, this is NOT it.

Stayed at Lakepoint for a fishing tournament. Very convenient. Room was clean and comfortable.

Well-maintained facilities very courteous and helpful staff. Large park with plenty of camping areas and something to offer everyone. They also have a fantastic conference / Convention Center if you have events or business functions. Havent tried the lodge but it looks very nice

Relaxing and affordable lakeside retreat. unfortunately the pool and playground were closed due to reconstruction but very nice grounds to walk around and watch wildlife.

Im giving Lakepoint 1 star just for refunding mine and my sisters money. She planned well in advance my brother in laws birthday party and paid for cabin 1 month in advance. We both rented the handicap A and B cabins by fishing pond. She brought in huge grills and coolers. When we arrived the cabins where clean but had obvious up keep maintenance issues floor soft in bathroom around toilet. It rocked and felt like it might fall in. Wholes in walls and baseboards. Windows separating from wall. Visible rotting wood on decks. They had mouse traps down.After we got everything set up and started prepping food to cook we heard screaming outside, a guest had seen the top of a alligator! Good Lord I then noticed the sign down the hill posted in between the cabins next to ours. We all got dressed for bed and turned in. More screaming, Bed bugs! Not in 1 but 2 rooms. Called front desk they sent housekeeping they confirmed they where indeed bed bugs and added we though we had gotten rid of them. What in the Sam Hill you though you didnt know before you rented cabins again! She said she would send maitience to spray He never came. Next day called front desk again they offered to move all of us but it would be separate cabins and we would have to relocate all the grills and dryers. We couldnt do that so we said we would speak to management upon check out. We closed doors to rooms with bed bugs and slept on couches and on top of other beds. Some had to go get hotels in town. The party went on, but with very tired hosts. As our Grandparents taught us we left things better than we found them. We sprayed Lysol everywhere scrubbed pots and pans with a steel scrubber, which was not done for us. We scrubbed floors with soap also not done in what seems to be a while. Last we cleaned stoves better than we found them.Went to check out and I kid you not the first young lady we encountered said I cant return your money the cabins have a rustic feel for a reason. WTH! I Nearly lost it my Sister kept calm and ask to speak to manager on duty. Supervisor and Manger came. They offered 1 night refund. Hummmm but the bed bugs where there for 2 nights and we could not move the burros girls and fryers. Repeated 1 night refund. I said you know what I will be reviewing our experience and Im sure upper management will be reading. She went to back and came back and said for the first time they where sorry and gave a full refund. Then said they dont go and check behind independent contractors they bring in to exterminate. Again WTH!Last but certainly not least I asked why there where no mattress zippered covers on any of the beds she looked puzzled and said there was suppose to be. Lorty!1 lady note to those that will still rent these cabins. The housekeepers come in the morning to replace towels in bathrooms but they dont knock they use there key and come in with no warning.

Beautiful campground with a gorgeous fishing lake system. Tons of fishermen and boats. Clean quiet campground. The only thing we missed is sewer hookups.

We go here for 4th of July and sometimes when they have other community events. Its always nice and clean. Firework show was great this year!

Park is nice for walking. Cottages are gross, dirty, uncomfortable beds and seating for the price. Inside looks like it has not been cleaned in months. Would not recommend or stay again

What a beautiful place! Didnt get to stay overnight but got to drive through. Will have to come back and go fishing and stay in their fishermans cabins on the hill.

1st class place. I have fished many bass tournaments out of here. The hotel is also nice. Have stayed there once and the cabins once. Whole place is awesome.

Room comfortable and staff friendly. There for a conference on a rainy weekday so didnt get to explore the outdoors. Did have two meals in the restaurant, breakfast buffet and a club sandwich for supper. Again, great staff with excellent food at reasonable rates.

Been up here over 4years now got 2 boats up here houseboat and pontoon quiet, loads of fish, peaceful staff is prejudice and discriminating towards boat owners that are paying $7,000.00 a year to have their boats in slips. They Do not care about the maintence, upkeep or safety of their docks or guests.

Rented a pet friendly cottage. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice our accommodations were. We had dinner in the main restaurant. Q was our waiter and did an excellent job. This was the best meal we had on our trip so far.

The cabin was okay.4 people 1 roll of toilet paper.Had to set dirty towels out in the morning to get clean ones.The pool was filthy. Slime all over the bottom,cloudy and just plain dirty. Cooled off with the shower at the pool.Not enough chemicals I am sure .Should not to advertise a pool if you cant use it.

Very nice area, and very cleanly kept. The marina is very nice for the area. The staff was also very friendly and helpful with all the questions we had. We rented a boat and it was in very good shape and in new condition. We will gladly be back to rent the pontoon boat for a full day!

Great ramp! Plenty of trailer parking. Nice weigh in station for tournaments. High School teams were treated like pros!

My mom made reservations on July 27th for a 3 night stay in October. Before we even got on the road she got a call saying that they were overbooked and we would have to move out of the first room the next day. Some kind of a computer glitch. Not sure why the other people werent inconvenienced instead of us. The next day it was after we had threatened to leave that we got keys to the other room. Got to the room and the keys didnt work. Let the desk know and was told that they were programed correctly, then why did housekeeping have to unlock the door? Maintenance was sent to check out the lock... it was the keys!

Workers need people skills and memory classes.

Rooms were not cleaned/ready for 3 p.m. checkin. Waited 40 minutes. On site restaurant has a health inspectors rating of only 88. Served French onion soup with a piece of white American cheese & croutons. That was all in the first 2.5 hours of arriving. The positives? Beautiful sunset.

Massive place that is beautiful Plenty of meeting places and fishing areas. Huge king size rooms with a view of lake. This is our 1st time here very impressed

Very clean and spacious! Quiet camping areas and a beautiful marina. Lodge and cabins are wonderful. We stay each time we are in the area of Eufaula. Love it and highly recommend!

Nice state park, but the cabins ate VERY dated and not good for the money. There are plenty of places to fish and the marina is nice. Do some updating, but keep the price the same and that would be a big improvement. The staff was friendly and the lodge itself was nice. The landscaping and lawn maintenance also needs some attention.

The park looks to be a great place to go should you be looking for a destination for fishing. Lots of RV spots. The lodge looks to rival many hotels.

Our first time to visit the park and we have been pleasantly surprised with everything. Fishing with the alligators was very different from what we are used to. Park host was very helpful and very hospitable. Campgrounds were clean I liked the drive through for my class a. Would recommend and will make a return trip soon.

My wife and I have been to all of the state parks except for one guntersville but so far this is the best one yet!!! Not saying that the other ones were bad, they all have great points!!! And all have great service!!! This one just was our favorite!!! Great food, great service, beautiful place!!!

Only stayed one night but really enjoyed the park and plan on coming back for a longer visit. Even though we called late they answered the phone, took our reservation and gave us great directions to get there.

The lodge is great for entertaining large groups. The food is good and the bathrooms are very clean.

If they were not so disorganized they would get 5 starts....but they show almost completely full.... then when we arrive there was less than 10 spots taken out of almost 60 spots available....what a miss-management disaster BUT STILL AN EXCELLENT PLACE TO GO!

Awesome stay as always. This is my 4th time and everything was great... One recommendation is that they need to ensure the light at the Boat Ramp at Clark Loop is operational at all times. Light was out and it was very difficult to lower boats when still dark outside...
