Edmonds Driftwood Players is a great community theatre. The actors are excellent, and the variety of the performances intriguing. Keep an eye on the calendar and you should be able to find something you like. Plays are an great change of pace from the popcorn movie-going experience. Edmonds is a nice place to catch dinner or drink beforehand too if you have time. Really enjoyed Red Planet Blue last month! (｡•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧

Fabulous as usual. A Gentlemans Guide to Love and Murder is a grade A show with Grade A acting. Congrats to Adam for directing a great show and all the actors and crew for an on par performance you do Wade and Edmonds proud

The Edmonds Driftwood Players are awsome! The plays are SO GOOD and the pricing is very reasonable. The theatre is small enough to really feel pulled into the performance. I have seen many plays here over the years and have never been disappointed. There are people who dress up and people who come in jeans a tees. Very relaxed and non-stuffy atmosphere. Perfect for everyone! There is a small bar that sells beer, wine and spirits. There are snacks available also. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Driftwood Players!!!!

Play tonight was great fun. Theatre was comfortable, although a bit cool tonight. Actors did a good job. Sometimes actor voices tend to trail off and are difficult to hear. Volunteers are great in ushering and handling concessions. Always a good evening of entertainment.

Excellent entertainment every time weve gone. A large pool of talented actors live in this area and this comfortable local theater produces a variety of plays that showcases this talent!

I was here as an actress to perform in a staged reading for a local playwright (who is part of a writers group). It was a trek for me with no car, but totally worth it. The space is amazing! I look forward to seeing productions here.

Had a great time with Israel yesterday for her birthday date Adams Family Musical was funny and had a great story. Every one of the people preforming was spot on in fully convincing us they could be The Adams Family. Two snaps to them all!

What an amazing evening show. The theater is a good size and well taken care of for being a small town community theater group. We had a friend in a show and had a very lovely time. Plenty of parking and not a huge crowd. People from all walks of life turned up for this event. I love their new TIPs objective of thought provoking plays and such. Keep it up guys. Thanks for your contribution to creating and the arts.

I always enjoy going to performances here. The last one I went to, Addams Family Musical, seemed to have a slight sound issue. Sometimes the music was too loud and I couldnt hear the actor. This theater is always clean and the staff is friendly.

Edmonds Driftwood Players is a fantastic community theatre! They have free parking and friendly staff, where everyone is welcome. The tickets are affordable and the shows are high quality. They also have many ways to be a part of the productions as a volunteer!

A great, comfy, community theater. Weve enjoyed many live performances here. They even have acting lessons summer camps for kids...they did Honk! for Summer 2017.

Driftwood Players is the absolute perfect representation of Community Theatre at its best. This local company is beloved and supported by an amazing staff and cadre of volunteers who are all incredibly knowledgeable theatre professionals. They strive to create quality theatre and make it accessible to everyone. Anyone can join as a member and as part of membership they can be involved in many aspects of running a theatre. From the inspiring Festival of Shorts through to the Theatre of Intriguing Possibilities (TIPS), Main Stage and Educational Programs, Edmonds Driftwood Players is a great organization.

Community theatre has long been a love of mine. I used to go to the Edmonds Driftwood Theater when I lived in Edmonds but since moving away ten plus years ago, I had not been back. I so rarely have a chance to get out these days. My dear friend from out of town was visiting and we were trying to think of something interesting to do. We used to be in a drama group as teenagers and it popped into my head maybe shed like to catch a play! She loved the idea and we went and it was awesome! The actors and actresses are still as passionate, the feel of the place still as intimate. Every play I had seen there in the past was intriguing and fun and Bram Stokers Dracula was no less amazing! It is an absolutely wonderful place to experience community theatre and I cant wait to catch another production.

Funtastic little theater. Very local and small but they do some big plays. Musical to comedy to drama...... hearing impaired are welcome and can enjoy through sign in seats for them. Small intimate seating and no seat is bad. Good night out for not a lot of money. Refreshments by donation available. There is a small bar with beer, wine and spirits available. Drinks allowed in theater but not food.

This theatre is a gem! It overlooks the downtown Edmonds bowl area and has great parking, great staff and passion for doing drama well!

Fantastic show

This was a fun place to see a show. It was small. Well, quaint might be the more accurate word. The ticketing and concession areas were a bit amateurish, but it didnt bother us too much. Kind of added to the feel. Though I could see it being a problem for people that easily feel awkward or have social anxieties.Our show as funny. There was a solid amount of parking in their lot, but also parking along the street. Fairly easy destination to get to.

Nice little local theatre with excellent performances

I watched a fantastic performance of 8 shorts... great, creative writing, actors/actresses that engaged me and were amazing (wow Keila!).The space is intimate so easy to see gestures.One downside was I thought I smelled mildew in the entry space. By the time I was in the theater, the smell seemed ok.Great little theater.

I wish I could give negative stars here. My teenage daughter was cast in a production of Les Mis this summer. She was extremely excited for the opportunity. Unfortunately, the whole experience went sideways. This is a close knit group and they circle the wagons quickly to protect their own. They treat the experience like a day-camp for the underage members of the cast.One of the adult staff overseeing the underage cast was a long time former child member herself. She was obviously immature and she kept talking about her sex life in front of my 14 year old daughter. My daughter finally pointed this out to her which caused her, probably in an attempt to protect herself, to go and accuse our daughter of saying something inappropriate to her. The director called my wife and told us our daughter was being put on probation. We started our own investigation into what had happened but before we were able to sort it out, they trumped up a reason to remove her from the production and kicked her out..As we continued our investigation, we found that there were others who had witnessed the interaction and confirmed what our daughter had said. We confronted the people above the director and were given an apology and offered a part for our daughter in another production. We were unable to make the schedule for the other production work as we had structured all of our schedules for the summer around the Les Mis production. We declined and said that the only thing we were looking for was that the person who had talked about her sex life in front of underage kids removed. We were promised that we would be contacted by the board about this. That contact never came and the person we were dealing with wouldnt respond to subsequent emails.We have debated reporting this to the Edmonds police but are hesitant to ruin this foolish girls life even though she didnt give our child any similar consideration. We may still do that but in the meantime, we want to warn anyone who might involve their underage children with this group about our experience.
