This is the venue for you, art deco architecture nerd. Fantastic layout, sound system worth more than my kidneys, and the cushiest velvet seats from the world before vinyl. If you came to truly enjoy the show, rather than penguin-step through the spilt beer and spittle of your peers, youre coming to the right spot. Also, the lineup is far better than one would expect. Dont hesitate.

Pretty kneat hall, good sound. The sound quality is not Tacoma Dome, but it is much cheaper. The service is always friendly, the seats are okay. This place is perfect for small concerts. Usually I go there for Russian music. Unfortunately there is no parking spots, however I succeed in fidning them like in 5-7 minute walks. Not sure what seat is better, on the lower floor, or on the balcony, since I always bought seats om the lower floor.

We sat in the furthest back row on the top level, but because of the size of the theater we could still see the stage very well. Fantastic venue. I plan to see future shows here for sure.

Spent an entire day here at a conference, lovely old building with a lot of history and great architecture. The bathrooms are updated, which is nice, and theyve got a good selection at the concession stand. The only thing that brings it down a star is the seating - very narrow and no real leg room, and Im on the short side, so thats saying something. Otherwise, a good experience.

The performers were excellent! Top notch talent! The sound mixing and management was very poor and did not do these professional performers justice. A trained eye and ear could see that the performers made the best of the sound management, but were unhappy with the situation.Lovely venue, with very pleasant and helpful staff. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available in the lobbies.Seats are uncomfortable - very low with no leg room - they need to be upgraded.Parking has been an issue each time I have visited - get there early!Wonderful to have a place for performing arts in Edmonds! I hope the community continues to support further upgrades to this local gem.

Good place for events. Seats are comfortable, but ignore the first row in any section - theres a solid partial wall in front that takes away room for your feet. Had to sit with legs tucked a little under the chair. Lobby is a little small so dont plan on too much time there.

First of all Im new to the Seattle area so everything is through those glasses. Edmonds seems to be a really nice residential area 20 minutes or so north of Seattle it appears to be a suburb. Its a base to one of the ferries across the sound and seems to have a lot of character. The Edmonds Center for the Arts seems to be in the midst of a residential area but seems to welcome the facility and the people it brings.I went to see Booker T of the famous Booker T & the mgs most famous for green onions back in 1962 and hip hugger a year or two later.Ive always really enjoyed the unique sound of Booker T and his organ. Booker T put on a really good show with his 10 piece band. I learned about his writing as he went through the night explaining songs I knew but I didnt know he wrote.Since this is more of a review of the Edmonds Center for the Arts the experience was really great. A smaller Hall maybe seating 750 to a thousand people maybe. The Acoustics were really good. The staff was just fantastic. It was easy to get to the center and although the parking lot it was already full at the sellout concert the neighborhood seems to understand that would be parking on the street and there was no problems.Yes they have beer wine and liquor sales and they allow you to bring drinks into the auditorium.

ECPA has a lot of great events, including the annual May jazz festivities. They have community events along with popular artists, and the have some GREAT holiday special events. Even though the building is a former Edmonds High School, its been renovated inside and out and is quite nice inside. The lobby contains a ticket office and space often used to sell concessions. The seats in the concert hall are particularly comfortable AND spacious for tall people like myself.

A very nice facility. But a word of advice, either plan ahead by purchasing tickets online, or be sure to hit a cash machine before arriving since its cash only (at least this particular event). This may change depending on the event since I have seen VISA/MasterCard logos.
