Phoenix Park was great and friendly! Amazing views with a bridge overlooking the river.

Cool spot to walk around at. I usually get some ice cream with the baby boy and his momma then go walk around. The boy loves to explore and the other half and I enjoy the walk and break away from our crazy infant son. The river is highlighted nicely through the whole park with access to the water at one end. There are always events going on so ya have to pay attention to whats scheduled or just go there when you drive by and see something happening and people gathering. Day or night its a neat place to go for a walk, put a pole in the water and see whats biting, or wade in the water and watch the tubers putting in and float down the river. Night time features the colored lights on the bridges and the quietness of a mostly empty park. Free wifi and the bathrooms are usually as clean as youd hope for a public park. All around good place to come for the farmers market and other local events and gatherings, to go for a walk at, or to just find a place to sit down to relax and people watch. Theres been known to be some interesting people coming and going, if youre a social person youre guaranteed to meet someone new if you are open to it. But my advice would be to either keep walking and exploring if youve never been to the park as its alot of easy to overlook spots or find a nice area in the shade or even one of the big rocks to get comfy and watch the river or read a book. I always bring some music to listen to or a book Im working on and generally avoid being social while being in public at the same time.

Phoenix Park is a great public space next to the Chippewa River in downtown Eau Claire. There is an open grass area near the confluence of the Eau Claire River, suitable for picnics and activities. A shaded natural area with trees, native plants and flowers near the farmers market pavillion includes interesting historical plaques about Eau Claire and the Chippewa Valley. There are walking paths throughout the park that connect to the many walk/bike paths that follow the rivers. Numerous shops, restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance

I am new to E.C and phoenix park is beautiful. There are 2 light up bridges and it is very clean. I took my lady and although, its not like high bridge or attractions in E.C. is now in my top 5 places to check out for sure.

Love to fish there. And Having two Rivers meet, is like having the best of both worlds.

This is a lovely place to lounge around during the day or walk on the trails or cast a line into the water. The night will bring you even more spectacular views with the lit up bridges and Pablo Center across the river.

The city of Eau Claire did a fantastic job to beautify the areaand have business develop along the Chippewa River!!!!

Music in the park(Thursdays through August?). Some really nice bands. Drinking allowed. Could offer more food vendors and kid activities during this time. Overall, an enjoyable event to chill at with the family and friends.

Beautiful park that always has something going on whether its a Farmers Market, Concert, or other festival. Lights at night are gorgeous as well.

Always a beautiful place to visit. Bright colors, lots of happy folks and safe social distancing is easy with the available space.

Love the nightly light shows! I would rate at five stars except that its always got so many people walking literally all over the place that it makes it difficult to simply relax by the river.

Beautiful landscaping! Events such as live, local music. Food markets where everything from organic, locally made and harvested honey is sold to homemade chili to every kind of freshly and locally grown vegetables for sale. Theres a half mile of accessable water front for water sports and fishing. Very well kept public restrooms. Shelter from the elements if needed. Numerous areas for sitting and relaxing as well as for enjoying a picknick with family or friends. Coffee shops and locally owned delis literally feet from almost all areas of the park. Its a beautiful place!

This is a quaint little park. I live what they do for the community atmosphere. In the summer there are bands and farmers market. In the winter they have fun events. It sits on a very gorgeous park of the river, and the foot bridge is a great place for photo ops.

Wonderful park along both rivers. With the farmers market on on end and Barstow street bridge on the other with plenty to see in between. Its a must stop and even better if the farmers market is open

Phoenix park is an amazing place to spend an afternoon, whether it be friends or family, theres some good skating spots, theres some river access for fishing, and there are colorful lights in the evening hours.

This is a neat park that is right on both the Chippewa and Eau Claire rivers! Lots of benches and green space. There are a couple shelters and several bridges along the park.

Went floating for the first time again since close to a decade ago. Awesome place to hang out and the walk bridge thats in the works is a great add to the park.

Nice place to visit anytime of year. My only complaint is it can get crowded on nice days.

This park is just cozy to me. Ive been going there for years now. Music in the Park on Thursdays during the summer is a fantastic experience. I recommend checking it out. The Christmas lights in the winter are almost magical too.

Pheonix Park is OK-ish. Theres no playground, and playing on giant rocks is only fun for so long... For the little ones anyway. The views are spectacular, even at night now that they have all the cool lights up. It really makes a difference compared to how it was. Its got a cool new vibe to it. I like riding my bike through the park on the pathways, its a nice change from the downtown cramped buildings kind of feel. Theres music in the park on Thursdays and farmers market in season.

Pheonix park is a place for all ages. Free music Thursday in the summer to bike trails and a place to take in the river. The new Pablo pedestrian bridge just open.

Phoenix park has changed so much over the years and with all the new events(i.e. music in the park, etc.) and the farms market having that great pavilion to set up under its just keeps getting better! If you have an interest in music or fun in general, I highly recommend checking it out! Volume One magazine has all the events that are scheduled!

This is a great little green space at the convergence of the Chippewa and Eau Claire rivers. A great place for a walk or a bike ride and close to downtown. The Chippewa River State Trail passes through the park so there is easy bike ride from UWEC across a charming trestle bridge into the park.

Love going to the farmers market and music on Thursdays! Love all the great updated that theyve made over the years. You can launch your tubes, fish, sit and listen to music, attend the farmers market or just enjoy a day sitting and enjoying the flowers!

Great Saturday Farmers Market!

The park itself is great. Theres nice scenery for walks or outdoor meetings. Theres plenty of events with great food. The biggest drawback and deal breaker for me on a good rating is that the police make sure you never forget youre being hunted. I would like to sit in my car and eat a sandwich before fishing without a cop parking behind me for several minutes and running my plate or whatever they do while theyre blocking you in.

One of the best parks in the Chippewa Valley with a mixture of events throughout the year. A great place to relax, going tubing down the Chippewa, Farmers Market, Music and the bridge lights. Now the trees have grown to add plenty of shade during the summer.

Beautiful and peaceful, a place to bring the family for a picnic or a casual walk, visit the Farmers Market or check out live music in the summer. Great for a beautiful walk alone, taking in the many sights and sounds. The new lights on the bridge have added even more beauty and creates a unique and peaceful place to explore and enjoy.

They have really done a great job of fixing up this area and making it a GREAT place to come walk with your family, grandkids, etc. On a nice day, it is very busy with ppl, but never feels crowded.

Had a blast checking out all the street art. Was a great afternoon for daughter and I. Recommend to anyone who appreciates nature and art
