On our way to Minneapolis , pit stop to this museum was good. Lovely staff. Great historical display. You will learn alot about the settlers and natives. Short walk through but worth it.

My daughter and niece had a blast most of the pictures are of my sister-in-law and twin but we had a blast. And not only that but the gift shop and ice cream were all fairly priced.

Nice museum, went for a special train exhibit, advertising made it appear to be larger than actual size, paid extra to attend, we were done in 15 min.

Way cooler than I imagined.

Nice museum highlighting the history of the Chippewa Valley. Permanent exhibits include logging, farming and native peoples. Special exhibits are also rotated through periodically. Admission is reasonable. Takes a couple hours to see it. Longer if you also check out the Logging Camp.

Great place to visit with family .you can learn a lot about human culture and livelihood .staffs were very friendly .They were conducting scavenger hunt that was super fun :)its 1.5 hours from Minneapolis so you can plan for small road trip. :) :)

A spectacular museum for its size. Great place to learn about the history of Eau Claire and the Chippewa Valley! There is a huge farm life exhibit.

Great collection of local history. I recommend this museum for a place to take your kids. There are a few interactive displays for kids, as well as a ice cream parlor and a gift shop.

Love taking my kids here! So much for them to see, learn, and interact with. The ice cream parlor is a must for the end of your tour!

Unexpected in the varity and level of interaction in the displays

Its a smaller museum but very accesible as it is on one floor. The exhibits are well labled/ organized. Ive gone in school settings and on my own, there is really such a good amount of information that more than one trip is needed to take it all in. Theyve done well to cover many subjects in Eau Claire history. There is even specific areas of interest for younger people and an ice cream parlor and Object Theater.

Great place to learn about the Wisconsin/Minnesota area. Very clean a new.

One exhibit I didnt expect to see is a collection of prizes from Cracker Jack boxes. Apart from collectors, almost nobody has any of them.
