We had a wonderful time at Corpse Reviver on Friday night. We tried several mixed drinks and most all of the appetizers. They were all delicious, but the slushies were the hands-down favorites. I also purchased a bottle of the bourbon-barrel-aged gin from the distillery upstairs, and it was incredibly smooth. Well done, Corpse Reviver and Durham Distiller. Thanks again!

Stopped in to the Durham Distillery on a Thursday afternoon and was blown away by the experience! Kassey did an amazing job giving us background on the business and distillery and guiding us through a tasting. Then Katie gave us a quick show and tell for the rotovap (my inner chemist was pumped!), still and canning line. The products sold here are amazing and I’m looking forward to the Gin bar opening next year. I’m not even a gin person and I love both strengths of gin they sell.

Two great gins and three liqueurs. I really liked the chocolate liqueur and the lower proof gin for sipping. The tour was pretty standard if you been on other tours before. Interesting notes on what makes their still different from others. The tasting room is nice but you can only sample when doing the tour and no mixed drinks. You do get to keep the shot glass. Worthy stop before going next-door for dinner or just to take the tour alone.

Got an awesome drink kit for the weekend. Staycation mix is wonderful.

Im not a big liquor person (mainly wine and light cocktails) but I heard they had canned cocktails so we thought we would pop in and try some out. Before I even mention the gin, the staff was absolutely welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly loved what they do! The gin and tonic cocktail is amazing. After one sample, we bought two 4-packs to go and we will definitely be back for more! The gin is top notch and the canned cocktails are delicious.

The chocolate liquor is even better than you want it to be. The gin is also amazing, and I typically dont go for gin. Katie was a very knowledgeable and charismatic guide. We had a great time on our tour!

I had a blast getting the tour at the distillery. It was a fun combination of education and experience. The decor was well thought out and I was happy to bring a bottle home at the end of the tour. Our guide Katie was very passionate and knowledgeable with no question being left unanswered. Can’t wait to come back!!

The tour is great - with several different types of tasting included that are interesting and some of which are unique. I was very interested to hear about their canned cocktails, which they said are shipping to ABC stores in the area for the summer. The gin itself is fantastic - I typically go to local distilleries just for the fun, but in this case you really are going for a high quality line of gin.

Quick tour 10$ for essentially a history lesson and a few quick shots. Not worth the time to even sit and wait. Must have reservations to attend tours that take your through their less than 1k sq ft complex you can see through their windows. Wouldnt recommend.

It was fun. I had good time, but... I dunno. Yer in yer out and its done. I liked it. Id recommend it, but keep your expectations low.

While all the products they create here are delicious this review is for the tour and, more specifically, our incredible tour guide, Abbie. She was charismatic, knowledgeable, engaging, and entertaining. The tour was a great length, educational, and I left with a greater appreciation for the spirits and liquors they produce.

What a great local resource! I love everything that Durham Distillery makes, and also that it is local and woman-co-owned. The tour was really interesting - I had no idea how many different spices went into making gin. A great destination, and be sure to take home a bottle or two (or pick up the canned G&T)!

The tour was great Bob did a great job. However for some odd reason Lauren went crazy ( you could say she had a conniption) and started kicking everyone out. My friend who is a black male asked What is going on, why did she get kicked out? Lauren then turned on him and kicked him out and called the police on this poor guy. I tried to explain to her, my friend did nothing wrong and she needed to apologize to him for the disrespectful way she spoke and treated him. Then, I got kicked out. The police did come and he laughed at the crazy employee and told us to have fun someplace else, he agreed with us Lauren was in the wrong for what she did. The point to this is, if you want to have a good time make sure Lauren is not working or you may go to jail. All present at the time are business professionals and Im never been treat in such an embarrassing and disrespectful way in my whole life. I still think Lauren owes all of us a very big apology. I will say the owner has reached out to us and has been very helpful in rectifying the situation. Hopefully Lauren is looking for a new job come Monday morning.

The tour was great! I leaned a lot and there were tasty samples. Id recommend going on a day when the still is operating, but its a great time regardless.

We absolutely love Durham Distillery! The Navy Strength is hands down the best gin I’ve ever had. Melissa and Lee have created a gem. Highly recommend!

Durham Distillery is a must see when your in downtown Durham. I’m not normally a gin drinker, but the drinks I’ve had with Conniption, at several of the restaurants in the area, have been amazingly tasty. I was so excited when they came out with their cucumber infused vodka as it is smooth and delicious. I highly recommend taking a tour of the distillery to learn more about how the products are made, as well as to try samples, of course. The staff has always been professional and knowledgeable whenever I’ve visited. Shout out to the chocolate liquors - YUM!

The gins and vodkas and vodka products were amazing. The tour really shows you the quality and precision they put into everything they make.

I didnt know that Durham NC had its own distillery. I think the tour was $20. It included their brand of shot glass (you can take home with you) and a few samples of their products. It was a nice outing!

Great people, great tour, great product! This was a rainy day alternative to our previous plans and it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend Durham Distillery for a fun couple of hours no matter what the weather.

Weve done the tour, as well as several tastings, and also attended other events in Durham featuring Durham Distillery products. The gin and cucumber vodka are delicious. We have always enjoyed our experience with Durham Distillery and all the employees.

The aged gin is very good! I was a little unsure before I tried it but I like it even better than the navy strength.The navy strength gin is superb. Our home bar is never without it.

I didnt like gin until I tried their Navy cask. Super cool tour and neat to look at their stills and equipment. Super nice people. Definitely a thing to do bringing out of towners for the weekend. Note the hours...it isnt open often.

What I enjoyed about the tour is how much I learned about gin and about how Durham Distillery got its start. I absolutely love their ice cold canned cocktails on a hot summer day.

Went to a tour here with a friend of mine last weekend, and had a great time. The tour guide was one of their sales reps who was *very* enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the distilling process.Tour aside, Durham Distillery are the makers of one of my favorite gins and some other very good products! If youre a fan of Baileys, make sure to try their mocha liqueur.

Lauren is awful. She doesn’t want anyone to have fun. Will never go here or purchase Conniption ever again. Happy 15th anniversary to me. Worst customer service ever.Durham Distillery ruined our evening. It was our 15th Anniversary and our friends and I were talked to so disrespectfully. She called the cops on us because we questioned her. She destroyed my memory and my time and my opinion about this distillery that I used to enjoy. You need to teach your employees that they are the face of your company. This ruined our experience.

EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT high quality, great taste, reasonable cost

The tour here is pretty short, as this is a small scale distillery. They make 2 types of gin and 3 liqueurs, and you get to try all of them in the tasting room after seeing where theyre made. Due to regressive alcohol laws in NC you cant actually get a cocktail made here, but have to drink it straight. While I enjoy gin, Im not one to drink it by itself. Take a bottle home with you, or find in your local ABC.
