Lovely historic brick buildings. Not much is open during the pandemic, but it is still a nice place to walk my dog. They even have plenty of bags available to pick up after your dog. Water features are currently off, but they look like they would be nice. Outdoor chess game. Nice grass features. Old train, old tobacco manufacturing equipment, big water tower.

Beautiful location that is bustling with life! The shops and restaurants located here are all fantastic places to visit and add to the local atmosphere. There is also a parking garage located at the front of the campus that has free parking on the weekends! Whether you are taking a night out with a special someone or taking your family out for a day trip, you won’t leave disappointed. The American Tobacco Trail also is easily accessible from this location as is the rest of the vibrate downtown area!

This place was really cool. Unfortunately it was closed bc of covid but I can imagine it being amazing to watch a ballgame at. If you are into photography I’m sure you could snap a bunch of cool photos and grab a bite at one of the many lunch spots nearby. Your dog might like a stroll through the area also. I’d certainly come back toSee a baseball game.

I love this place and its cool scenery! The American Tobacco Historic District is a historic tobacco factory complex. There are still 14 contributing buildings and 3 structures built by the American Tobacco Company, its predecessors and successors from 1874 to the 1950s. The Lucky Strike Building is from 1901. You still see the tall chimney with the Lucky Strike advertisement on.The Historic District is part of a large urban renewal project in downtown Durham designed to bring residents, businesses, and shoppers to the formerly blighted downtown area. The campus had been the HQ of the American Tobacco Company, once the largest cigarettes’ manufacturer in the US. The mostly abandoned campus had been rebuilt after 2001 as part of a redevelopment plan of downtown Durham.

Beautiful area to walk around if youre visiting downtown Durham- several amazing restaurants within walking distance as well as the Durham bulls stadium (if youre into that sort of thing) but I think the main attraction is the architecture and vibe that saturates the air... It is the defining tone of Durhams up-and-coming experience and recreates the historical brick and mortar buildings that became Durham.

Sweet renovated space at the heart of Durham North Carolina. This historic area feels like the heartbeat of Durham culture and growth, embodying the triangles technological revolution vibe in architecture and design.Although it would seem cramped, the flow throughout the TC is smooth and constant. with a central public parking deck, there is almost always somewhere convenient to park for games, work, or just to grab a bite and hang out. Would highly recommend stopping by in walking through the central park / path along a scenic man-made stream, especially at night as it is lit.

It’s hard to describe how great American Tobacco Campus is... want a meal? They got great options. Want to explore? There’s lots of little nooks and crannys to discover. Want to take the family for a walk? This is as pleasant a place as you can find in Durham. ATC really adds character to the downtown, Durham wouldn’t be the same without it.

American Tobacco Campus is a great place to walk around. There are hammocks and rocking chairs doted throughout the campus. Truly is a beautiful campus. I am frustrated, and maybe someone can explain the logic behind this, the basketball court was locked and the chess set was chained up. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and fan fest was starting in a few hours at the Bulls stadium. The chess set and basketball court were very nice, but the children (and adults) of Durham should be able to enjoy them at least on weekends where the weather cooperates.

Winding through a connection of streams and waterfalls, grassy lawns and annual flowers. Tables and benches are peppered though-out, best go after 6 in southern summers. Some free parking but not a lot to be prepared to pay to park and wheelchair accessible. Great indoor outdoor place with lots or room for kids run around and sit back with a beverage in hand while dining at Cuban Revolution. Definite stop while in Durham! Update 6/3 Took my girls there to shoot their graduation pictures and went a little later so got to see the area at night!! Gorgeous, magical with twinkle lights, lights in the steams and pools...perfect place to go gave dinner, walk around or just chill.
