The City should clean this place up. It would be a beautiful place.

It is closed and in need of repairs near the end of the trail as it is impassable. The nature out there is beautiful, so hopefully it is on the citys radar to be fixed. It made it difficult to launch our kayaks from

Seems a bit misleadin if ya ask me. Not really grassy and such in the winter. I aint gonna bother checkin her out in the summer to keep up my air of ignorance.

I would take issue with this location being described as a park instead of as a nature preserve. Great place to boat by if you want to see birds or the natural state of the st. Louis harbor. However this is not a park. There is no dock. There is no dry land to beach your canoe or kayak on. Just a large marsh of wetland reeds and the animals it supports

I used to love walking here but it was flooded and some of the trail is messed up

So much potential is neglected here. A great place to visit when the trails are up kept. As of fall 2016 the trails near the water are mostly inaccessible.

Boardwalk comes to a stop after about a half mile. Broken boards do not allow you to go any further. Watch out for poison oak.

Nothing like it used to be. The boardwalk has been destroyed, and its full of graffitti. Not even worth stopping by anymore until the city decides to do something with it.

The trail was blocked off about the mile in and what was accessible was overgrown.
