We love attending shows here. Small venue so always a great seat. Ruthless was amazing!

I dont go as often as I would like but I am SO GLAD I went to see their production of Newsies. Every show I have seen here has been consistently fantastic, but I may have to agree with some of the guests I overheard saying that this was the best theyve seen here. I couldnt believe the singing and dancing talent they pulled out and showcased in so many amazing teenagers.On a side note, I love that the rows are wide enough that people can get past without me having to stand, with my chair folded in. I just sit comfortably and make sure my feet arent out. Comfy seats and reasonably priced snacks. Even though our seats looked on the chart like they might not be great they were actually pretty fantastic for this show

Ive attended 3 or 4 musicals of the childrens theater and I am extremely impressed with the outstanding quality of the productions!

My son (who has Down Syndrome) and I saw The Christmas Carol. We had excellent seats in the second row and seats right in the middle. Excellent seats. We enjoyed the play immensely. The easy way of ordering tickets on-line and having them on will call was wonderful. Parking right next door to the Depot. I just ordered tickets to go see The Jungle Book in January. A Christmas gift for our son. I cant wait!

While I have always had a good experience at the Playhouse stage, their satellite theater, the Underground, leaves much to he desired.Super unimpressed (to put it nicely) with The Duluth Playhouse-The Underground. My husband and I bought season tickets for each other. Not only did they totally screw up and *oops* not reserve our seats for The Santaland Diaries but we can do standing room only tickets for you no thank you. ..I actually dont care to sit where theres a steel bar blocking my view for the entire show .... now they are telling me we wont be able to see Calendar Girls unless the company decides to put on an additional show I dont know what to tell you. I have no tickets. We have already PAID FOR TICKETS in the cost of the wild card pass. This was stated to the gentleman on the phone whose response was uh-huh. The only perk is supposed to be guaranteed seating to the shows unless you are drinking alcohol. Then there are 2 for 1 exorbitantly over-priced drinks. What a joke. Dont be taken in by their gimmicks folks.

Great venue, good size stage and seat are at a decent angle so I feel there really wouldnt be a a bad seat

The Duluth Playhouse has three parts: the Main Stage (currently at The Depot, but will soon be moving to the NorShor Theatre), The Underground (which is located in the lower level of The Depot and produces shows that are likely to draw smaller crowds -- classics or edgier fare), and The Family Theater (which includes their amazing Childrens Theater program and the Theatre for Young Audiences company which produces interactive, engaging theater for younger audiences). All three parts of the Playhouse are doing amazing work. Its surprising to find such professional level theater in a town the size of Duluth. Highly recommended!

The building is a bit cramped, but its historic so thats understandable. Not as much seating as expected, but great shows!

We had so much fun here! Just a small theater but perfect to bring kids! Easy to see the stage and great performance! Definitely will go back when we are in the area.

Loved the venue, the staging and the 4 main characters especially. Not an easy task moving all those kids around! My first time at the childrens theater but certainly not my last.

Saw Hedwig at The Underground, the performers were great. We had a really fun time. The Underground is a small intimate theatre, we sat just feet from the stage. Close enough to get sprayed with tomato.

So just based on the facility, its a good place to see a play. I cant really base it off the play I saw because thats not the point. There are seats and you sit and watch whatever youre there for. Thats it really.
