Great venue for grand and intimate performances alike! Glad to have this gem in the community. I so enjoyed the Mental Health Awareness Concert over Easter weekend. Three Altos, Dead Horses, and Them Coulee Boys all gave stellar performances.

Wonderful spot! Amazing local performance as well, I’ve been out to shows in Chicago and the cast here rivaled the casts I’ve seen there.I paid $40 for my ticket to be three rows from the stage and it was well worth it! This place is a true “Steel Magnolia”

Love the space. Seats are not large but enough room for most medium sized people. Pretty good bar with decent options, even a few snacks. Views were good from our mid balcony seats. Love that they are doing plays, concerts, and classic movies.

Such a beautiful theater. No better place to have watched Postmodern Jukebox! And even though we were up in the very front in the folding chairs, they were well-cushioned and comfortable. Looking forward to a chance to go on a non-school night so I can try some of the drinks.

Very nice theatre to see Steel Magnolias in. The bar was a very nice touch for intermission, seems the view would be great just about anywhere inside, I will say the chairs were not comfortable, however the sound and ambiance in the building was very nice. Bathrooms were clean, staff was very polite and the show was great!

Beautiful trip to yesteryear. The seats are jammed so tight together that there is no leg room and the cupholders cut into your forearms. After a theater matinee it averages 40 minutes or more to get out of the ramp. At least your car is protected from the elements. Its a little nerve-racking walking past the sleeping homeless people in the skywalk though.

Beautiful recently restored theater! Stadium seating throughout makes every seat have a great view of the stage. Concessions has a good selection of beer and wine along with other choices, though limited food options. At some productions you can pre-order your intermission drink, which is great!

Assuming you dont have a time machine, this is the next best thing. Get dressed up for a night out in the historic, NorShor Theatre. And make sure to order a second drink that will be conveniently ready for you at intermission! (my favorite is the smokey old fashioned)

Disappointed. Went with high expectations, to see On the Waterfront, a classic film from 1954. Loved the restored theater. But where was the popcorn? There is no popcorn. The seats were ordinary stadium type seats with no give for moving ones back backward at all. The film audio was so loud it hurt our ears and we had to leave 90% into the film, missing the ending. $9 for wine and the wine glass was about 30% filled, not much more than you get for a sampling of wine at a restaurant. The hot pretzel was kind of a joke, a couple of small bites not a real pretzel. The movie was at 7pm but at that time three men got on stage and lectured us on the movie for about ten minutes--- seriously just start the movie and talk about it after it is done for those that decided to stay for a film history lecture.I was at the Norshor back in circa 1985 (watched My Life as a Dog then at the theater), and it was a real movie theater experience with popcorn and other traditional movie snacks and without being held prisoner to a lecture when the movie was supposed to start.I wanted it to be a great experience but The Norshor lost us as a repeat customers. We will instead opt to just keep going to the traditional theater with dreamlounger seats and traditional and a greater variety of snacks.

A fantastic renewal. Ive been to several different stages of this place and finally theres one that gives legitimate hope of NorShor revival. Looks good and sounds good. Hopefully we can get some decent acts to play here and it lives for many years to come. Though I did enjoy when it was a bar back in the late 90s. I think....

Beautiful theater. The two murals in either side of the theaters interior walls makes the space and whatever you came to watch feel very special, historic even. Mixed drinks are ~$10, which fits their quality: Vikre gin, quality vermouth, etc. Seats are very comfortable. I saw the Opera. Unfortunately seats averaged $60, but I got a student ticket which was $15. At the latter price, my first in-person Opera experience was well worth it.

Based on the audio at the Low concert this would be a 5 star rating however when I arrived the front doors were locked and I was admitted into the box office (not the grand entrance which was locked) by a hesitant and skeptical door person. Although I had a ticket reserved in my name, the ticket person admitted they had given it away. There was not apology for this mishap or recourse offered. Why would you give my ticket away? Why are all the doors locked? Is security really that big of an issue in downtown Duluth?
