Just a one block park in the middle of town. It has a small open pavilion in the center. It has the beautiful art deco main Post office on the south side and the Dubuque art museum one the north side. They set up a beautiful nativity scene for Christmas. Dont forget to walk around and read all the stone plaques.

A pleasant, quiet park for relaxing and/or having a picnic. There are no restrooms here, but there is a public restroom a block away—also, note that there is no playground area. This park is often used for rallies and is the home of the Fine Arts Festival and Food Truck Fridays.

The snow sculptures were an amazing surprise. I went in to Dubuque to mail a package. The Post Office is across the street, and after talking care of business, I had to investigate the snow sculptures. The artists talent is amazing. I had heard of snow sculptures, but this is the first time Ive seen them in person. Fantastic! I only wish that there were more to enjoy. With todays warm weather, Im sure they are gone. Dubuque has a lot to offer. Everyone should come, see, and enjoy it all!

It is a park, with several recycling bins and trash cans. It also has grass and cement and benches. It has roads on all 4 sides and has signs designating it as a WI-FI Area. I forgot to mention there are also trees. If it is a plain old park youre looking for, this is one.

Located in the center of downtown Dubuque Washington Park should be a spot to see on your Dubuque sights checklist. The park is beautifully maintained and clean. The gazebo in the center is gorgeous to match the trees surrounding it. Plenty of benches to sit and take in the view or have a picnic or quick lunch. The park hosts different events from a craft fair to a chilli cook off to weddings. Be sure to stop at this long time Dubuque favorite.

This is a lovely city park with a gazebo, shade trees, some benches and picnic tables, historic markers for a church and time capsule, and views of some of the historic architecture in Dubuque (Town Clock, Courthouse, Roshek Building, Post Office, etc.). The Art Museum is on one end of the park. Dubuquefest is located here (arts and music festival) and it is the ending spot for the parades.

Great for city events and gatherings but not so much for kids to play. Serves more as a well trimmed pathway to other locations downtown than a place of entertainment.

This is a small, grassy park. There are a few picnic tables, benches, one drinking fountain, and a gazebo (which oddly has no seating within it). Very close to downtown Dubuque. The park has recently become slightly busier due to it being a popular spot for Pokémon.
