Fun atmosphere, great drinks and they follow the state guidelines for social distancing. Great for date night or big parties. Its a good idea to make a reservation for though because they tend to have a wait list to get in.

First time at this new location and it’s awesome. The original downtown is good but no much room when it gets busy. This new Dublin location has tons of room to hang out and have fun. Great parking options as well. Me and the wife don’t drink so coke is free for us. Don’t forget to tip people. Super clean, great atmosphere!

My five groomsmen and I came here (16-Bit and Pins) for my bachelor party, and we had a blast! The games (both digital and physical) were a lot of fun, especially our intense game of giant-sized Jenga, and the drinks were delicious! The Carrie Fisher, Hulk Hogan, and Game Over were all excellent. The staff were also all very friendly and helpful, and the whole atmosphere and environment were very light, welcoming, and laid back. Theres no question, Ill be back!

I know its covid and things are weird, But we wandered around the place No host at the door and someone came and found us and told us to put on masks. then we went to the bar to ask for a drink and they told us to go to the host stand and get a table. Then our server didnt know the ingredients in the cocktails that were on the menu so I went and asked the bartender. Theres conveniently no bourbon prices on the menu and I got one shot that cost me $18. You cant play the games with your drinks. The server was rude the place was boring if you cant drink and play and theres no atmosphere outside You are right on Riverside drive. It was really horrible

This is the second location for this bar in Columbus. Downtown location has a more hole in the wall arcade bar feel that makes the atmosphere a little more unique to me. If you want a new polished feel with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy some games, this location is your spot. Large bar top, TVs fresh new building attached to Pins. My only gripe, which comes down to personal preference, is that this location feels too much like Pins and not its own thing. I totally understand their concept of sharing the space and it works, its a lot of fun! I just personally prefer the atmosphere of the other location.

Do the bartenders hate tip money here? I have never met any two bartenders who could be more rude to people with children. I am an adult paying for booze and tipping on soda refills and yet the bartenders do not smile and are annoyed to deal with children. I mean you work in an arcade and it is 1 pm where it allows children.Description of bartenders: woman very blonde hair, man was dark brown hair with beard and a man bun.Might be worth trying the other side ( pins).... maybe they are more friendly and want to make money ( tips) there .

This is a pretty awesome place to stop in the Dublin area. There isnt a ton of things to do in the area, so it does get super crowded with kids during the day. It is 21 and up after (I believe) 8pm, so that may help you plan accordingly.Personally, I have a kid, so I dont necessarily mind it being kid-heavy during the day, as it gives us another option of things to do in the Dublin area. That said, they are often unattended and just run free and kind of do whatever they want. When we do take our son here, we are sure to keep him close by and make sure that he is pretty well behaved. The game selection at this location is awesome! It has a lot of my favorite games and the space is much larger than the location downtown, so that is a welcome change for me. I prefer to have a little space and be able to get to the bar or to a game without having to squeeze through people and wait for 10 minutes. There is usually nobody waiting to play a game and it generally doesnt take very long for them to open up.The drink prices are seemingly higher than other places, but then again you arent paying to play the arcade games, so I guess it works out.I HIGHLY recommend that you close your tab, as one day I left it open and ended up with a large number of drinks on my tab that werent mine. We had three or four beers between two of us and a few days later I noticed a charge for over $60. I definitely wont make that mistake again, but will return for some arcade games and fun in the future.

Coolest bar! Very big and spacious. Great drink selection. EXCELLENT alcoholic slush puppies. First time I visited was on a very busy Saturday afternoon, but staff member took time to give me a run down of the place. The staff was super, very understanding and willingly worked with me because of food allergies (its really hard to research cocktails before going and seeing which brands they use). The concept of the place is fantastic. I was mortified to see so many people bringing young babies and children into a bar setting, but who am I to judge. The three stars is actually for the lack of cleanliness of the arcade game buttons. They should seriously offer button wipes, like the grocery stores offer cart wipes. They did offer hand sanitizer on poles, but still, its not that hard to have a person go down the rows of games wiping touch areas.

For someone who grew up in the 80s, this is so nostalgic and tons of fun. There are 80s music videos in the background, and I was reminded of a time when video games and MTV was the life we knew before cell phones and social media. This place was like adult heaven, until the kids came screaming in. Couldnt play any games without the mentioned kids running into me and making me spill my drink. The arcade games were free and the place right next door was awesome too.

Cool concept. But we went with another couple in the early afternoon, and we both brought our kids along (10 & under); wed been told that it was family friendly. After we first settled in and played a few arcade games, we noticed there was a movie playing on the big screens. It was completely inappropriate (including nudity and sex scenes). I asked the manager if they would change the movie because there were so many kids around, but she refused, explaining were a bar and its part of our theme. Not exactly family friendly, or customer friendly in my opinion.

First, If you like games but you dont mind sucking at them, this is your place. There are lots of classic arcades and consoles to choose from, but most of them are all beat up. Play MK and the kick button gets stuck, get the SNES and the controller has the wiring coming out of the cable, etc. I still remember MK moves and not being able to execute them because of busted buttons, pisses me off. Second, we live in Columbus, one of the best cities for craft beer and with so much good beer around town their selection is comparable to whatever is in Kroger, on sale. And $9 for a large... what is this, the stadium? Two stars just because the bartenders are nice and the place is clean.

Review №75

Ive been to the 16-bit downtown plenty of times and have always had a great time. That being said I would not recommend the one in Dublin. It baffles me that parents would bring their kids to a BAR. The place is overrun with unattended children so that you end up drinking awkwardly in a corner since all the games are taken up and you cant move without a kid running I to you. Parents, just take your screaming children to Chuck E Cheese. Ill be sticking to the 16-bit downtown where I can drink a beer in peace.

I love the concept. The place is expansive and in a nice area with other food and entertainment within walking distance. Ill state upfront that I came here for the gaming. I realize it is tough to balance the gaming with the bar aspects of a barcade, but Im going to knock it a star because of a few issues I had. For one, Id prefer if they had more games such as more side scrollers and maybe even some pinball games. Ill focus on the side scrollers since those are what I played. The Turtles game was practically unplayable due to broken controls, and the Simpsons game was out of order. Also the music was loud which made it hard to hear the game. I love video game music and sound effects. The ability to hear a music cue could be the difference between saving the day or getting beaten to death by a pink robot.
