Not what I expected. I am a history major and love everything related to it. But, I wouldn’t waste extra miles and gas.

The site is well maintained and historically interesting.

Learning about history is awsome. I love Coronados cross.

It is always nice to to visit history. This has been a learning experience of some of the first missionaries to come to our country.

I always like a bump in the road historical site. This is nice but pretty obvious its monument to something happening nearby not on this spot

The path could be better maintained - we avoided walking all the way up due to how overgrown the foot trail was.

We found this cross just East of Dodge City. We were told a out it from the Ladies at the Dodge City Tourist Information Center. We enjoyed our visit, it was worth the stop.

Not much to see. You walk up the hill on a short trail full of sticker weeds. No sign of the Arkansas River Coronado crossed, which is what the monument commemorates.
