Packed with history! Really interesting to see how life was lived back then. Must see if your visiting Dodge City. Dont get freaked out by the mannequin in the basement! My first time through really got me. If your in town on the last Friday, they typically have a lil snack and a drink! So plan correctly!

Great history, loved seeing the personal items from the owners. Manager gave us the tour and she was very knowledgeable. Wish house was in better repair. Believe it could be a revenue source for county if much needed repairs are done.

We drove all the way from Wichita to visit house of stone. It wasn’t open! It was supposed to be open! Don’t ever drive very far to visit this place. It really doesn’t look that great anyway. There’s nothing to see on the outside.

If you are in town for the Wild West, take the couple block drive or walk to the Home of Stone. This is a great tour talking about the home, history of the west and Dodge City. There is no charge either, simply donations.
