Absolutely peaceful church and chapel with such a friendly congregation. Attended morning mass with the intention of viewing Blessed Solanus Caseys tomb but was blessed to see and learn so much more of his life and writings. Their is a museum dedicated to his life of service to God. There is even a relic located at the church. Their is a soup kitchen as well as a gift shop and many gardens to sit, pray, center, and just be touched by God. It was truly a blessing to be here. I will be praying for Blessed Solanus Caseys canonization.

The newly renovated interior, additional structures, guarded parking lot & cozy garden are appreciated....much to learn about this soon to be canonized humble priest in a quiet informative setting...negative: someone felt a need to highlight people from outside the Catholic faith (no idea why)...It is the Father Solanus Casey Center NOT the who contributed what to the Civil Rights movement (which I highly applaud...but not in this setting...PC I guess???)...Confessions/Reconciliation heard throughout the day...Healing Holy Masses (some in Spanish) celebrated on a regular basis...well designed, beautiful decorum...a great look in a comfortable (a/c) atmosphere into this future saint...there is much, much more to see than my photos reveal....If this review helps you please give it a Thumbs Up ...thank you.

It feels very spiritual and comfortable here. My family has had some recent health issues and the Solanus Center has been a souce of comfort and healing.

This was a spiritual highlight of my visit to Michigan. The museum and chapel are just beautiful and the gift store staff is very friendly and helpful. Blessed Father Solanus Caseys casket is located under clear acrylic just outside the chapel, and there are sheets of paper & pens provided to write prayers and baskets to place them in. A very peaceful location to reflect and pray.

What a moving place. I didnt know Solanus Caseys story, and its a remarkable one, well told in the museum. Most moving of all, for me, were the statues in the entry, where I got to deeply contemplate the lives of some of my heroes, like Archbishop Romero. This Center is worth a visit!

Beautiful place to visit. Tour was very insightful with the guide that was provided to our group. The Church itself being restored was amazing to see the craftsmanship that was delivered. Just an amazing place to visit, I will definitely be back again.

I frequent this place often for confession. Its a clutch place to go of you are in needs to confess your sins. They have confession at almost every hour from 10-4 everyday weekends.The brothers are all good.The chapel is also really nice. Worth a visit for sure.

Our parish Most Blessed Sacrament in Toledo, OH made a Pilgrimage to Bl Solanus Casey Center this July. The staff was very helpful and informative. The renovation was beautiful. This is truly a holy place. I have known of Fr Solonus since the fifties due to my mothers devotion. I have personally travel to Fr Solonus center through the 80s and 90s.always a prayerful experience.

A serene and lovely place, for contemplation, prayer, and history, in the east side of the D, right across the street from Mount Elliott Cemetery. Staff and/or volunteers are all kind and welcoming.

Such a blessing to receive the sacraments at the center. Thank you Friars for your service to God. The artwork is nice. Get to know Saint Solanus better, visit here.

This place is nothing short of a miraculous. The grounds are amazingly kept up and I cant walk around without feeling connected. If you have not had a chance to experience the grace and love that there is here than you should add this amazing place of worship and healing and love to your path. Love and healing are very powerful here and its really an altering experience. The healing power here is intense for whatever ails you and the love from the people here is just as strong.

I went to Solanus Casey Center today for the Blessing of the sick/healing Service, along with my husband. The homily, prayers, and the Blessing...all was great and touched experiences. I also prayed for everyone who came to the center today. God, have mercy on us and hear our prayers.

A great place of faith and history. The museum, the chapel, the tomb are well kept and presented.Even in not the best part of Detroit, its as if Blessed Father Caseys prayers intercede to keep tranquility in the surrounding neighborhood.I highly recommend bringing the whole family, or even just yourself. Great things are happening in Detroit, and its especially prevalent here at the Solanus Casey Centre.

Built in 2002. They should have used the money they spent on the church for the needy.

This is a very special place in my heart. I prayed to Father Cayce after being told by my doctors, that I would never have children. Three months later I was pregnant with my first child who turned out to be healthy. My second child also turned out to be perfect. We come to church there and take the sick in our family for blessings. I always feel close to God in this church.

This place is for praying Healing. You must go with a open mind. And watch God work Im a witness to what this Church can do . I could barely walk when I went in my legs was so swollen. I just prayed and prayed to God and Father Solanus . The swelling went down .

What a hidden gem in Detroit! This place does so much good! And it carries the message of amazing spiritual leaders who made this world a better place. The tomb of Solanus Casey is here. You can pray and touch the tomb, and you might be the next person to receive a miracle. Either way, there is a great positive vibe at this place I the middle of Detroit.

So uplifting spiritually. The goodness of Fr. Solanus Casey is in the air you breath there.I highly recommend a visit especially during lent. They have confessions available generously and after a good general confession you will feel like you did at your First Communion.

There is confession every hour until 5. That in itself gives this place five stars. The Capuchins are excellent in their ministry, God bless them, and those who are non-religious who work there.
