My family of 4 did the 2 hour sailing trip. It was one of the highlights of our week in Destin! Captain Pam is knowledgeable and skilled. My husband sails and she let him take over the helm for quite a bit of our sail-- much to his delight! Our kids LOVED the hammock that Pam strung up for them. We saw a bunch of dolphins, but it wouldve been just as fun if we hadnt seen any. Would definitely recommend this tour and would do it again on a future visit to the area.

After searching for an excursion we decided to go with Smile and Wave Sailing and so glad that we did. Captain Pam was awesome! We got to see dolphins leap out of the water. We went snorkeling and Found lots of shells that we got to take home. I have an 8 year old son who can talk your ear off and Captain Pam Let him sit right next to her and was awesome with him! This excursion was well worth it!!

We went on a sailing trip with Captain Pam for my babys 1st birthday and we had the best time!! Ee saw dolphins and sailed beyond the jetties into beautiful crystal clear water and Captain Pam took a ton of AMAZING group pictures and she showed my baby how to be a boat Captain and my baby LOVED it!! We relaxed on the front trampoline and rode by crab Island but it was too cold to stop that day. Next time!! You winot have a better time than sailing with Captain Pam on Smile N Wave Sailing!! You will seriously not be disappointed!!

Captain Pam is awesome! Very personable, accommodating and fun! You can just feel great vibes from people that do what they truly love for a living. We saw plenty of dolphins and a beautiful view of the sunset on our sunset sail. Highly recommended!

This was the best part of our trip!! She was awesome and felt like family after the short few hours we spent with her! She made sure we saw dolphins, she showed us starfish and picked up a jellyfish! Jellyfish were all over crab island and she even got out in it and helped us all return to the boat safely!! She was the absolute best! Will definitely have her take us out again when we go back!!

We went out last night for our sunset cruise. Pam was awesome very personable and friendly. She is very conscious of her surroundings and the safety of her passengers. There was a storm that popped up and she kept us informed on what was going on. We headed back a bit early based on the weather. Great lady, great captain, great host, I can go on and on. Our families had so much fun sailing and swimming. Dolphins were wonderful. Loved the sunsets. Pam knows so much about marine life. Time went by so fast. The water was beautiful. If you like being on the water, you’ve got to call her.

Eco friendly, personalized, exceeded expectations. . . . I thought the lady that I spoke on the phone was kind and friendly to book our reservation a day in advance, later i found out, the person that answered my call was not only the captain, but also the owner of the business. Captain Pam is apparently loved by all the other vessel captains, as information on weather, dolphin sightings, idiots on sea-doos, is shared readily with her by all of the other ships. You want to see dolphins? Captain Pam can make it happen. You want to gather sea shells? Captain Pam shows you the place she went when she was in high school. You wanna fish? Captain Pam grew up in the gulf dipping water out of her dads bass boat while he fished. You need inside information on where to eat, where to parasail, where to snorkel. . . well, you get the idea. Her vessel is well taken care of, clean, and has everything you need for a 3 hour tour. She loves what she does, and I felt safe and relaxed the entire trip. Cant wait to go book the next time we are down on vacation, the kids have already put this on the must do list. Thanks Pam, for the break in our reality and a glimpse of how the good life must be lived.

Second year in a row going out with Capt. Pam. Awesome job!Unfortunately. A super strong microburst hit the catamaran with sails fully up. Mast broke off with sails, ropes everywhere. Pam showed her true experience and heroism in acting quickly and professionally to save mine and my family’s lives!Prayers go out for Sail Away charter whose catamaran capsized next to us. Pam was as worried about BK and his passengers as she was us!! Awesome Captain! Will go with her again!

What a wonderful trip! It was storming and Captain Pam took care of us by keeping us on the dock until it cleared, in an hour it was so great to see the dolphins and have a beautiful ride , our captain was wonderful and so sweet, I would definitely recommend smile and wave Adventures , and we plan on going again soon!

Captain Pam is simply the best local sail charter in Destin. She knows where to go, what to recommend , where to find the local dolphin, and engages in great conversation. My wife and I were in town this past week for anniversary and Christmas fun. We sailed with Captain Pam back in May with a larger group, but wanted to get out again just the two of us. We had the best experience of a boat tour with Captain Pam. From finding dolphins to snorkelling, she exactly knows all the sweet spots in the water that made our day. In addition, she has an awwwessoommmeee boat. We loved her boat, along with the sound system on it, we had loads of fun. I live and work here in Destin. We usually all work when the weather is nice outside and don’t usually get to enjoy all that there is to offer in our area. AMAZING! This boat was amazing. It was fast and fun. I even felt very safe with my kid aboard. We went to the rock jetties and went snorkeling where we saw tons of little fish. After getting wore out in the water we took a nice long sail out in the Gulf of Mexico. Capt. Pam knew what she was doing tweaking the sails out for top speed. The water was beautiful and Capt. Pam was too. I can not wait to go out sailing with Pam again. I think we talk to her every other week about when we are going to go out with her again. Highly recommended to do when in Destin!

I dont write many reviews, but I had to this time. If you are looking to be the hero for a fun and romantic evening........this is the only place you need to call, period. I have to thank you Pam and Daniel for the best night of our trip!! It was a pleasure celebrating our 25th Anniversary with both of you. It was fun, romantic and very educational as well. The sunset was amazing as was the night life you showed us afterwards. The dolphins coming up next to the quiet of the sailboat was amazing. We are looking forward to visiting our new friends again on our next trip to Destin.
