My family and I enjoyed our stay at Ariel Dunes. A ten minute or less walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants close by. We walked to Seascape Towne center for ice cream and lunch one afternoon. Enjoyed the views from the balcony. Room had everything we needed to cook some meals My second time to stay in less than a year.

All the furniture is very old and and not confortable, the beds have very poor quality mattresses andyou cannot sleep well

This condo was a great location, beach views from living and bedroom, altho a ways back from the beach. Definitely walkable. The complex had 3 big pools side by side, which were wonderful. One had zero entry with large shallow end. The condos furniture was worn but functional. The beds were satisfactory, but not great. The kitchen was lacking many normal cooking amenities: cookie sheets, measuring cups, pitcher, potholders. They only provided 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom. My biggest concern was the number of baby roaches in the kitchen and one bathroom. I did notify maintenance of the above concerns, and hopefully they have all been addressed by now. The management company was very quick to get back with you regarding concerns. ( We had only 3 swim bands in room and needed more). I probably wouldnt stay in this condo again, but would go back to Ariel Dunes complex. Also, if booking through Hotels.com, the total price you see on their site is NOT the total price. It is a couple hundred dollars more when you get contract from management company.

The property location is excellent, so close to the beach and also a beautiful apartment. The beach umbrellas, chairs and even boogie boards was a nice bonus. The apartment came stocked with towels, pots, utensils and everything you need, which was great. My only real complaint is that the furniture is old and uncomfortable. Also the dryer doesnt work that well anymore, so washing the towels required more than one run to get them dry. Other than that, had a great time there and would stay again.

Ariel Dunes is by far one of the best hotels in Destin. The rooms here feel cosy and relaxing; they’re decorated in a nautical theme, reflecting the views of the sea below. Each one boasts a balcony and seating area for extra comfort.The hotel itself boasts three outdoor swimming pools, as well as tennis courts and a fitness centre to keep up with those all-important workouts. Guests can grab a bite to eat at the hotel cafe, but there’s also a beachfront bar and grill to enjoy.Location: Right on the beach, from here you can be on the sand in just a couple of minutes. Nearby, there’s Emerald Bay Golf Club (two miles) and Silver Sands Premium Outlet Mall.

Resort grounds are well-kept, pools were clean, elevators were disinfected daily. There are 21 floors so on check-in and check-out days it is very busy. Views from both of the Ariel Dunes towers are really good considering both are behind other resorts, Majestic Sun and SurfSide, you will have to walk to the beach but only a short distance.

First time staying here and it is nice ! Very nice! We just happened to be here when painting the balconies. A small inconvenience. We have an ocean view condo and it is very nicely decorated and appointed.

Great location and view, but I took 2 stars away for the cleanliness and the guard at the gate ( he is not friendly at all).

Cheaply satisfying, drinks were made carelessly and cost of parking was a joke.

Pretty view and nice room, however the smell of weed from outside was awful. It kept drifting into our room anytime we opened the patio door. We could hardly enjoy our outdoor patio because the smell was there often. We told the staff and they told us there wasn’t much they could do. It was very concerning especially as I am only 16 and my little brother who is only 8, had to keep breathing that every night. I wish there was more that could’ve been done. Not safe to breathe for my young brother or me with asthma.

Beach and the seascape property were perfect. We are definitely planning on going back

Got a room and came into the room super warm and figured the a/c was off. We turned the thermostat down to come back to the room later. Wasn’t working. Maintenance was notified and left a note on our door saying they would come the next day. Not to mention the ice maker was broken, matching the outdated room where the end tables were pieces of plywood covered with a fabric blanket. But that’s just decor choices I suppose.No A/C for 3 days before finally being moved to another room which is mostly why 2 stars instead of 1 because the place they moved us to was much better. Everything worked. It was an overall nicer spot.The communication between employees was rather poor. One lady told us our room came with 2 chairs and an umbrella. We go to where the lady said to contact about that and the man said the lady on the phone was wrong. THEN, the chairs and umbrellas for purchase were not in front of the resort at the beach. It was 2 miles down the beach where there is a free shuttle to take, which was out of service. However, I am sure that is due to the current pandemic. I feel like we fell into some crack in the system or strokes of unluckiness..The pools were great and the maintenance staff are great people. There is also a nice little bar/café with good beer selections and cocktails.

Such an incredible experience and views!Highly highly recommended this is an incredible value for the money thats for sure.We stayed at Rays Place on Airbnb and wow oh wow were we impressed.Well definitely be back to catch those amazing sunrises and sunsets!

The view is beautiful... the layout is nice. The cleanliness however, was awful. They really need to improve on this big time.

Nice place! Big gathering hall with plenty of room for dancing. Pool tables. Nice bar area with plenty of seating and televisions. Clean bathrooms. And a real nice covered picnic area.

I will not stay here again. The view is good and had a short walk to the beach, but the water would stop working almost every day for anywhere from 30 min to 3 hours. The elevators are right around the corner from the trash points and smelled like garbage every time. Parking is horrible. Glad I rented a unit as I would not buy one in this building with the knowledge. Plus the no smoking rule in the pool areas are not enforced... they clearly dont care!

Visited my parents who were vacationing here. The accommodations were great facing the gulf, 18th floor across from the beach and lots of shopping and restaurants in close proximity. Gated community and on site cafe serves the best pizza and burgers moderate prices.

Our family of four stayed in a bi-level condo for 3 nights and loved it. While cleanliness was not perfect, it was not a major issue for us. We had to re-wash dishes and kitchen counter but bedding and towels were fine. WiFi in the area was essentially non-functioning/very slow.However, we loved the layout of our condo and the view of the Lake. HVAC system worked fine. Bathrooms were fine. Beach access was very convenient. Dishwasher/laundry equipment all worked as expected. We were very happy with our choice.

Second time here and never a disappointment. Beautiful well kept place.

My family and I have stayed at Ariel Dunes more than a few times over the past 10 years. It’s always been a pleasant experience until our recent family spring break vacation. This time, my family and I stayed in Building II, condo 1305. I’m not sure if the resort is under new management or not but things have really changed from two years ago when we last visited. #1 The sofa bed was broken. My family and I checked in on Thursday and called about the sofa bed when we realized that it was broken. No one called us back until the next day. Friday a maintenance person came, took pictures and said that he would send the pictures to his “boss.” We never heard from anyone again regarding the sofa. So that’s one amenity that we paid for and could not use. #2 The dishes were dirty inside the cabinets. It was dried up food left in pots and on utensils. I had to wash the dishes before my family and I used them. Which brings me to #3. The condo is able to sleep 6 to 7 people, but there were only 4 mix matched forks, spoons, etc. #4 Absolutely none of the doors in the condo locked. The bedroom neither did the two bathroom doors lock. #5 The air conditioning vent in the bathroom was a hideous site. (A simple $5-$10 fix). #6 Nasty grime in the bathroom outside of the bathtub. (Can be removed with proper cleaning). #7 The headboard to the bed and the bedroom could use some cleaning. (A simple disinfectant wipe down). #7 1/2 The bed can use much better throw pillows. I can not believe that someone would rent a condo in keep those pillows on the bed. (It’s an easy $30 to $50 fix). #8 There was constant drilling in a near by condo from 8 a.m. Friday morning until about 3 that afternoon. That’s not how I wanted to spend a day of relaxation in a condo that I paid a good amount of money for. #9 On Saturday after returning from the beach my family and I were ready to take showers and head to dinner. The water was off and stayed off for nearly 2 hours. We called a total of 4 different numbers. The number to emergency maintenance did not answer and the voicemail was full. Needless to say, we didn’t make dinner and was not in the mood after having to wait on water that should have been readily available. This experience was so bad that I don’t believe we will ever stay at Ariel Dunes again while visiting Destin, FL. The only thing we got was an apology.

The mattresses need replaced saw some roaches in the kitchen area. Charged my debit card $170 dollars more than what was on the website price. Water was off for about 3 hours due to a sensor issue.

This place was awesome ... short walk to beautiful beach, two big swimming pools on property, beautiful views, clean spacious rooms, great restaurant on property. We had a fish smell when we got to room but it was just the garbage disposal which was cleaned and smell went away. Other then that ,great stay. Plan on staying again whenever I return to beautiful Destin. I booked with Wyndham.

The views were Great, access to the beach was a very short stroll. I liked the fact that you are at Scenic gulf drive without being on it. The pools are clean and relaxing. The cabana has the best pizza and chowder around and my favorite restaurant, Acme, is a short stroll behind the property. If you are a Walker, you can walk the property away from busy streets and relax. Everything I wanted was within walking distance. I would have given 5 stars, but someone set up a large section of the beach with chairs and umbrellas that were not being used. I stayed in Ariel Dunes 1, #1409. Wow! really nice place.

I stayed here and the condo was fantastic. The resort itself not did not strike me the same way unfortunately. I am not sure if there are any employees that work here because no one was ever at the front desk. Also the advertisement for this resort said there is a spa available that is FAKE NEWS it is only available for the owners I was disappointed about that overall good condo but disappointing resort.

Thanks to the Ariel Dunes Seaside Resort, we had the best 4th of July ever! The suite was beautiful beyond compare. It was clean, comfortable & perfectly appointed. The beach was a short walk from our condo, which we took advantage of after we enjoyed a clean, beautiful pool. There was delicious food just minutes away, including that available bar & eatery on site. We will definitely be back, hopefully soon.

The lock for my door didn’t work the first night. The frame of the door was cracked and the door itself was cracked. I notified after hours the lock for the door was not working and I didn’t feel safe. They put in a work req... the technician came and rigged the door to try and work although the lock still was working smoothly. The washing machine in the unit also didn’t work. I called front desk and requested to be placed in a different room because of the issue with my door. I was told there was no units available. Only one unit that was open for one night.... my stay was for two nights. I asked for some sort of reconciliation for the issue and was assured a manager would call. I received no call back from anyone and no reconciliation for the safely concern.... For this reason the idea of renting from Wyndham in the future is compromised ... beware of the units you rent .. u get what u pay for ....

I had one of the best 4th of July holidays at this resort. The condo was super clean & convenient to all things sea side. There are so many places to enjoy food, spirits, & the beach. Beautiful green waters of the Emerald Coast is refreshing. Weve already begun to plan our next visit. Did I mention that the price is right?

We only ate at the restaurant. The food was good, we ate there a few times. The wait staff was helpful.

I always love my stay here, its generally pleasant and quiet, except there is this one lady on the condo association who talks so loudly you can hear her from any room that youre in. Her name starts with an L and ends with an ISA, but I dont know much else about her.

Its a beautiful place. Close to the beach and the view of the gulf are amazing. My husband and I were pleased with our stay.

Unit 2107 is a dive, (in addition to poor housekeeping)... couches, bedding (body fluid stained, marker written on), furnishings dated and worn-out frayed. Dishes greasy and dirty, just nasty. We are in off season paying premium rates. Go to a hotel!!! Attitude of management is pretty much to bad so sad. This is not even a quality development, you will find better at Motel 6.

I would rate Seascape Resort 5 stars! Love this gated resort and the excellent security! The condo is perfect! It is super clean, decorated nicely, and comfortable. The view of the ocean is awesome. There are multiple pools and they are very well kept. The property is well maintained and constantly being maintained. Staff are very friendly. The additional amenities of tennis, bike/ golf cart rentals, basketball, and on-site gym are perks as well. Love love the Cabana Cafe on-site. The food is among the best in Destin. Overall, we are highly satisfied with the resort and the many amenities!

1st day, check in was great, nice staff. Everything we need is within walking distance. Beautiful view of the ocean on one side and the bay on the other side. The rest of the week looks very promising.

The last time I was in Destin was August 1978. None of these condo’s were here. I expected more for this price. No blackout shades, not really organized except the security guy who helped us get into the room. We didn’t get email or text with codes due to a Wyndham mess up. The condo was dated, carpet full of sand, the guest bedroom mattress was so bad that you rolled towards the middle, the kitchen had limited cookware that was not capable of preparing meals for 4 adults and 3 kids, the drain was not functioning properly where you stood in undrained water while you showered in the guest bath, I just expected more. Definitely will request not to stay in 909 in ADII next time. We wouldn’t go back to this property

Great place to stay with the family

Stayed at one of the condos. The view was beautiful and our stay was comfortable. The beach was right across the street. They have wrist bands for pool access and its a pretty nice pool.

Could be a bit cleaner in the unit. No hot tub. Beautiful views.

Spent a week here on family vacation. Had a great time. Very nice, well equipped 2 bedroom appartment. Lots to do abs close to the beach.

Save your money and stay somewhere where the staff is more friendly. The poolside security guard made sure everyone had their wristbands on before entering the pool everyday but yet he did nothing about the fact that there were people throwing things off the 23rd floor into the pool and almost hit a woman and her two small children. Also, the same security guard told us to back into where the elevators are to unload and that “even though it says do not enter you can load and unload here”. Apparently that was also a no no considering a different security guard and a hotel worker told us to move our truck in a very hateful tone. Again, this was after we were told we could use that area to do exactly what we did. Don’t get me wrong the rooms are very nice and the facility as a whole is very clean. If you stay here you better just hope you don’t interact with any of the staff. We will not be staying here again after they acted like that to us. Just simply asking us politely to move our truck would have been fine or at least tell the other security guard not to be telling people to park their vehicles there for loading and unloading. I guess that was too much to ask. Again, save your money and just go somewhere else. There are plenty of condos in Destin that are just as nice, cost close to the same, and the staff is not like this.

Very nice and clean condo. Beautiful view and in a great area. Grounds were kept very nice. Mattresses were uncomfortable and hard.

It was poorly decorated, no pantry, no closet upstairs, washer and dryer did not work for a week during a two week stay. The shower was a step up shower which was very tight and outdated

First day of a week stay has been pretty good, except for the noise of the garbage truck emptying the dumpsters at 6:30 in the morning. We have a beautiful view of the ocean in several directions & besides the icemaker being broken the resort is very nice.

We have been staying here for the past five years and have had a positive experience except for the year we stayed at Majestic Sun. Dont understand why we have gotten charged so much when we have talked to others who are paying much less.

Overall good stay. Condo was not spotless after cleaning. Hair throughout bathroom and we had to wash dishes before use. They need a wash off area other than inside pool area. Not having any other access caused unnecessary sand and dirt to be tracked through lobby and into elevators.

Walking distance for the beach was great when first arrived the guy (older one)at guard shack was not friendly at all didnt give good directions we stayed at 1 its a little dated cookware needs to be updated the ice maker didnt work needed more wash clothes

Today was the perfect time to visit. The dunes were closed due to the government shutdown. Which meant the place was peaceful and hassle free. I have made a note to come back only when the government isnt working. Meaning holidays and shutdowns. The very best time to visit a federal park is when the feds are not working.

Nice condo but has only a sliver view of the Gulf. Would like a better view . The restaurant/bar in Ariel Dunes 1 was very nice. The food was good and reasonably priced. The live entertainment was very enjoyable! We intend on going back later this week!

Didnt stay here...but we came to cabana cafe. Yummm. Seemed so chill! Had music that was great... And a local..Im sure that they called dancing Frank!! good time!

Weve stayed at Ariel Dunes 1 (rented multiple condos) and Ariel Dune II (also rented multiple condos). Definitely preferred Ariel Dunes II. For both locations, it is convenient to have the restaurant nearby. Its decent food and options, good service, and super convenient. Overall, the units in 2 were cleaner and better stocked. In 1, the floors and balconies and dirty and had to be re-cleaned by us once we got there. In some of the condos, it looked like things were just worn out and shabby...dirty doors, door latches broken, faucets not in great shape, or shower rods busted, lightbalbs burned out, etc. It doesnt look like they clean the bathtubs at all in the units. Also, in one of the units the bedding was dirty from the previous people who stayed there, and we also encountered some dirty towels. Customer service really wasnt helpful even upon learning about dirty sheets other than agreeing that its gross to have to use dirty sheets. Overall, its a toss up as to whether or not we will be back. With our first Ocean Reef experience in 2, I definitely was willing to rent through them for a second time. After this last time, not so eager to give them a third shot.

It was a BEAUTIFUL condo with plenty of room, great kitchen.The pool and hot tub was to die for both were heated at Christmas when I was there. Walk across the street to crystal blue waters and white sandy beaches. Fantastic place to stay.

Liked that it was closing to shopping and had 2 nice pools. Didnt like that you had to walk across the street to get to the beach. Also didnt like that people didnt respect quiet hours.

Come back after 2020 when the main Road through Destin is finished. It s very difficult to get anywhere. It can take15min to go 2 miles. Or be prepared to stay put and stay within walking distance. Who wants to be fighting traffic all the time you are on Vacation.

We recently stayed at Ariel Dunes 1 in condo 803. The condo was very clean and spacious. In our building, there was a cafe and the food was very good. The grounds were kept up nice and everyone was friendly. I would definitely go back to this condo.

The AC was out for the duration of the vacation. The maintenance time was unavailable although they stated they were reachable 24/7. I put in a work order and no one came.

Great location few steps to the beach. Shopping and restaurants close by, and not as congested as Destin. Will def return.

Went to the cafe because it was within walking distance and it was late--11:30ish. Menu was limited at that time of night, but it was very good. There was live music and we enjoyed it, so will be sure to go back.

Stayed in the condominium with my friends and family. It offers all promised features. Location is good, beach was just a brisk walk. Very satisfied, and planning to go there again sometime in near future.

Ariel Dune 1 unit 408 is a great little space. They have all the beach goodies you need and you dont have to pack them yorself, I loved that. The condo itself seems to be well maintained and is pretty comfy. However, #1 it is NOT on beach as one would think when you read in the desription On Beach, it is literally across a pretty busy parking lot and across a reallllllyyy busy street, so breing a beach buggy (there is a beach carrier thing there but only big enough foe umbrellas and a couple of chairs) or youll get the work ou of a lifetime lugging ice chests etc. #2 if you are looking for grills as you would a typical beach condo, They are ALSO across the parking lot away from EVERYONE and evreything (2 grills and 2 chairs) with NO covered area, in th blaring sun. LOL... NOW, the beach...forget any beach etiquette you may have ever known, because it is absolutely NON existent on miramar beach. NEVER in all of our years of beach vactioning in florida have we EVER had shoes stolen when you leave them at the stairs. Well, this year in Destin I guess someone couldnt afford their own pair of Nike slip ons and decided they needed a pair, so...yeah, they stole them. The beach is beautiful, but the people are SOOOOO rude it is unbelieveable. The Wal Mart isnt really THAT far, but with all of the road construction going on it is a horrendous adventure, so i suggest getting everyhing you need in ONE trip and forget asking of the Wal Mart employees where anything is if you cant find it, because they #1 either cant speak English or #2 they have no idea either where anything is. We will stick with Navarre from here on out, Destin and its folks helped us make up our minds to not venture out. LOL
